2023.06.01 04:38 P_UDDING How well does GPU perform when using NVIDIA Broadcast while streaming games on Twitch or YT?

A friend of mine told me about Nvidia Broadcast because I was thinking about getting a greenscreen for streaming and such and I was wondering, if I loose any performance, when I would stream more modern/high end games while using Broadcast? If I am using a capture card, it shouldn't need that much performance because the video is coming from the capture card and not the GPU technically, right? But if I decide to stream games from my steam library for example, how well would the Broadcast camera still work?
My GPU is a RTX 3070 Ti, CPU is AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 32GB RAM.

2023.06.01 04:37 Garbage_McTrash [USA-IL] [H] Custom PC (12600k, 3080 FE, 32GB RAM) and EVGA 3080 ti [W] Local Cash/Paypal

Good evening HWS!
I am selling my personal PC with the following specs:
PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/x32C3y
CPU: Intel Core i5-12600K 3.7 GHz 10-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S redux 70.75 CFM CPU Cooler (2 Fans)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B660M AORUS Pro AX DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory
Storage: Crucial MX300 750 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Crucial P3 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage: Another Random 500gb SATA SSD
Video Card: NVIDIA Founders Edition GeForce RTX 3080 10GB 10 GB Video Card
Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Cooler Master V850 SFX GOLD 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro OEM - DVD 64-bit
Case Fan: Noctua P12 redux-1700 PWM 70.75 CFM 120 mm Fan x 8 (yes you read that correctly)
I have owned this PC for about a year now and honestly it has been a dream come true. I overkilled the fans to the point where this thing was basically an air conditioner all year round. I have a bunch of (if not all) accessories for the case as well as the Noctua CPU cooler. The 3080 was purchased secondhand and was undervolted since day 1, never any issues and ran all games flawlessly at 1440p. Never messed with the 12600k because it runs perfect stock, in my opinion at least.
The PC does have 2 small issues. The first one being the retainer clip on the primary PCIe slot broke off. I have found it to be purely cosmetic because the mounting screws do 99% of the work anyway. To ensure safety I even installed a GPU bracket because I am an overly cautious person. Second issue is one of the USB-A ports on top of the case doesn't work and I never bothered figuring out why.
As well as the PC, I have a babied (undervolted it's entire life) like new EVGA 3080 ti FTW3 for sale. I am the second owner of the card (bought from another user on HWS) and it still has (as of 5/23/23) 607 days left of a transferable warranty on it. I still have the original box and all the accessories that came with it. It was the original card in the PC build above.
I am selling the PC and the card due to lack of playing time. Bought a house recently and fixing it up has taken up most of my time and will take even more of it up with the summer coming since I'm a teacher and get the time off.
Looking to get $600 w/o GPU or $1000 with GPU for the PC (local only) and $600 local cash (preferred) or $650 shipped for the 3080 ti.
If interested I can swap out the 3080 for the 3080 ti for the difference in price (+$200).
Thanks!

iMac late 2009 21,5inch SSD upgrade question
Hey guys! I want to upgrade my old iMac late 2009 with a new SSD and saw on YouTube videos that these computers have a thermal sensor for the HDD. What do you recommend I should do with the thermal sensor? Are there any options to connect that sensor to the new SSD? Is it important to use the sensor or can it work without it? Is the only option the SSD fan control app?

2023.06.01 04:32 RubikDash Resolution stuck at a lower setting

Yesterday my monitor was working normally at 1920 x 1080 but today I turned it on and see that I can only use 1024 x 768. My monitor is an ASUS VG248QE which I have been using for years now, I have an RTX 3060 and an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor, I updated NVIDIA drivers as well as Windows, and I scanned for viruses just in case. Trying to force the resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel just instantly reverts it back. I noticed that even on the PC's BIOS and bootup it also is the incorrect resolution. Is there anything else I can try?

2023.06.01 04:20 paNICKdisorder AW3423DW Flickering Issues Resolved

I created a post last week asking AW3423DW owners if they get flickering and if so what are various settings of their setup.
I recently purchased a second AW3423DW and ran it side by side to get some answers. The second one had equally as much of a flickering issue as the first.
Completely wiping my computer of Nvidia drivers using DDU in safe mode and then reinstalling the latest drivers from Geforce Experience completely resolved my flickering issue on BOTH monitors while using gsync at 175 hz refresh rate.
I just want to share this in the hopes it helps some people out there experiencing insufferable flickering on the AW3423DW.
Happy to answer any questions or concerns about DDU and the whole process - just DM me.

2023.06.01 04:11 Ze-uxis Need some help with totk

Hi, first of all i would like to apologize since english is not my first language and this post may have some mistakes
Now, for what we are here
I'm trying to run Totk on yuzu on my laptop, but i'm only getting around 15 fps on the outside (The sky island and Hyrule) and 30-35 on shrines ( which is totally fine for me)
I don't really care much for graphics, i just want the game to run a little more smooth, i would be happy with 20-25 fps as long it is stable and doesn't give me 3 fps at a time
Here are mi specs
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz 8,00 GB RAM Intel Optane 16 GB NVIDIA GeForce MX130
And here is my yuzu conf and mods https://imgur.com/a/mW2VUTV
I just want to know if it's possible for my pc to run totk at 25 stable fps or should i just give up
Thank you!

2023.06.01 03:57 Arsinityy Pc having random BSOD

Pc having random BSOD
So my PC after being built started having these random bsod errors. They can happen on my desktop or with just Firefox open. Or just discord. These are the errors I get at very random times: (The stared ones are the ones I get most often) Kernel security check failure * Driver irlq not less or equal * Driver overall stack buffer Irlq not less or equal Kmode exemption not handled * Unexpected kernel mode trap Atempet execute of no execute memory Attempted to write readonly memory Memory management Page fault in nonpage area
I've checked the temperature when playing games. I've reinstalled and reset everything (os,drivers). I've taken it in to a PC repair shop and they couldn't find anything wrong with the drivers or my hardware. I'm very frustrated and the errors keep piling up.
My parts:
Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-VDH Processor: AMD RYZEN 5 3600X 6-Core 4.4 Processor Cooling: AMD Wraith cooler Overclocking: AMD Turbo Boost Advanced Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz C16 LED Desktop Memory Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 Power Supply: EVGA 500W B 80+ BRONZE Operating System Drive: 256GB Intel 760p Series M.2 NVMe SSD HDD 1: 1TB Western Digital Blue HDD
