2023.06.03 22:57 TiredOfHumanity64 Dangerous Underground Mormon Sub-Cult did the Insurrection and other things
I can't keep quiet any longer. I have to tell the world the truth. I am being blackmailed. Recently a man/group threatened to severally harm me or kill me if I do not continue to give him more ideas to hurt people and the US government by using Mormonism as a coverup. I am refusing to do so, but he goes on threatening and I have no reason to believe he will give up except perhaps I bring this to light. I wish I had more evidence. I hate how the church breeds this kind of maliciousness. If I had known people of this degree of evil existed within the church I would have left a long time ago.
Their is a sub-cult of Mormons within the "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" who planned and executed the Insurrection on the United States Capital by allying with other underground or terror groups such as The Proud Boys and manipulating all of them. To put it all as simply as possible, I was still a believing Mormon back in Jan 2019. However, a member confused me by shaking my hand in a strange way. He was new to the ward at the time and only just met him. Essentially he took me into an empty side room in the church and claimed the handshake was a secret he used in the military. However, he acted very odd about it and told me to not tell anyone. I didn't for many months. However, I had heard about secret handshakes in the temple and theorized that perhaps they are used as a secret non-verbal form of communication. Thus, I was convinced he had accidently used it on me. I can't explain all the details, but later I became convinced that the church was communicating with me non-verbally for some reason I did not know. So, I prayed to god and the answer was to find the bishop and tell him something (I will not say at this time what or why). However, our ward had been split into two and there were 2 bishops. I found the other wards bishop (because the other one wasn't available) after noon or so on one of the Sundays in Jan 2019 and shook his hand then we went into a side room. I don't recall everything we talked about. However, it turned out he had been released as bishop.
What followed was just unfathomable. First, when I told this released Bishop what I thought I was supposed to, I got called a liar. He gaslighted me to the point I apologized just to make him stop getting angry. Then we had this weird heart to heart thing talking about our lives. He told me he had been in the military and was about to move to Utah. He said he hated the US government for things he witnessed in Afghanistan. To change the subject I then told him I sometimes write books as a hobby and asked if he wanted to write a book. He initially said no, but later changed his mind as we continued to talk. But, as I started coming up with ideas for the book, he became angry again. I then allowed him to come up with ideas. He just seemed to have an easy trigger at getting angry. That was when he told me he had the crazy fantasy of doing an Insurrection. We started combining our ideas together. He somehow convinced me we were playing the bad guys in the story-as if we were roleplaying. So we made up a bunch of crazy ideas. He claimed he could make it all happen. I just took it as acting. The story involved a bunch of events before the second coming of Jesus Christ. MY original idea involved two men becoming Anti-Christ's and were going to cause all sorts of havoc across the earth. Things would get so bad because of a new war that Jesus would be the only one to stop it.
But, as things got worse and worse I became suspicious he MIGHT BE FOR REAL! What really triggered it all was he suddenly starting asking me what I wanted out of it all-as if we had been conspiring. When I said no, he became a little angry again(hope you see the trend). What followed next was this weird veiled set of threats. At the end he basically had threatened me to destroy my car (which he did) and send people after me to kill me if he was ever caught or if any of this didn't work- which is ambiguous in and of itself. This previous bishop has in fact been successful in completing all these events; many which I have not said. One of the ideas was to infect the FBI. I tried to call and meet with local authorities, called the FBI twice, sent an email to a political leader, and sent an email of info to the CIA. The only ones who responded were the local authorities and the FBI. But, it was the same each time. They wanted more evidence than I had. I'm tempted to post the evidence I do have but then I might get in trouble because of it. I'm trapped where I live because I am running out of money. I am somewhat depressed, but sort of coming out of it. In no particular order here is more info I can say without saying names or other identifying information:
The president of the LDS Church was manipulated by this group. He was told to try to get the marriage equality bill passed some time ago. That was MY idea; not his. The church was also told to come up with ways to preen the heard so to speak. This was also my idea. There are more things which I said that I can't recall at this time, but the most important one which the President of the LDS Church needs to know is that I spoke about how lesser authorities will sometimes plot against the upper leaders to kill them and take their spots or to use their connections to manipulate them. I do not know or fully understand this released Bishops next plans, but even though I have left the church now, The president of the Church's life might be in jeopardy and I am sure this previous Bishop will tug any strings he can to use his connections. The church has a mole that neither member nor non-member would approve of.
Christians and Jews are being manipulated. They are being lied to in an effort to control them, using them against each other, and other groups.
This mole group has also been involved in various other destructive tactics such as spreading misinformation and hatred to create various divides between groups such as white vs black, rich vs poor, straight vs LGBT, and so on. They hate the USA. This released Bishop is taking advantage of the church's connections with China as well. The president of the Church needs to find this guy and weed him out.
If I recall correctly, their next plan is to target the LGBT+ community with the goal of their extinction. I would suggest everyone in this group buy weapons and armor of every kind to defend themselves. This makes everything extremely complicated since so many religious people are against the LGBT and have been led to believe so many lies about them. I don't know how to solve any of this.
Worst of all I can't just get up and move. I am trapped where I am because of strange blackmail. I can't ever trust a Mormon again in my life.
Can anyone suggest who to talk to about this? Who can we trust anymore? Who can I give the evidence to so I can live in peace to some degree? The FBI isn't going to help. Why did I have to get caught up in something so beyond my nature? I need advice! I have been ignoring this for far too long because of real fear. I am going to post every day I can and everywhere I can until I see results. I have since left the LDS Church, but I am being harassed by them through other people who are not even Mormon. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm living in fear every day.

2023.06.03 22:57 UsualBug5241 Stand against Christian Zionism
| When a Christian Zionist is defending Israel, the book of Romans comes up a lot, specifically Romans 9, 10 and 11. These chapters are used in many harmful ways by Christian Zionists whether intended to be harmful or not. ~Romans 9~ Romans 9 starts off with the title “God’s selection of Israel”. The chapter starts off with Paul saying “With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it. My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed—cut off from Christ!—if that would save them.” Romans 9:1-3 As you may know, the majority of the Jewish people rejected Jesus Christ and Paul (who was a Jew) is expressing his sadness because his people rejected Jesus. This is a normal feeling that many Christians have felt for their people. Christian Zionists may use this to support Israel but this is simply Paul showing his sadness about how his people rejected Jesus, Paul didn’t feel bad for the Jews because they are “chosen people”, he felt bad because these are his people. Many Arab Christians feel bad because the majority of their people aren’t saved. This doesn’t mean they think Arabs are more important, they just feel bad for their people. The people who share the same culture as them. “They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God’s adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are their ancestors, and Christ himself was an Israelite as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.” Romans 9:4-5 Christian Zionists using this to defend their pro-Israel agenda is a perfect example of Eisegesis. Eisegesis is the action of interpreting books in a way that fits *your own agenda*. Eisegesis has been used many times throughout history, White Christians used Eisegesis to oppress both the Blacks and the Native Americans, Eisegesis has been used by Christians to silence and oppress women, Eisegesis has even been used by characters in the Bible as well. When Jesus was fasting, Satan came to tempt him. “Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry. During that time the devil came and said to him, ‘If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.’ But Jesus told him, ‘No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, ‘If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ Jesus responded, ‘The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’’ Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. ‘I will give it all to you,’ he said, ‘if you will kneel down and worship me.’ ‘Get out of here, Satan,’ Jesus told him. ‘For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’ ‘ Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.” Matthew 4:1-11 As you can see, Satan kept on using parts of scripture to convince Jesus to give in to temptation. Jesus called Satan out for his Eisegesis and did not give into temptation. When looking the Romans passage we just looked at, we need to look at what was said next: “Well then, has God failed to fulfill his promise to Israel? No, for not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God’s people! Being descendants of Abraham doesn’t make them truly Abraham’s children. For the Scriptures say, ‘Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted,’ though Abraham had other children, too. This means that Abraham’s physical descendants are not necessarily children of God. Only the children of the promise are considered to be Abraham’s children.” Romans 9:6-8 So, God has fulfilled his promise to Israel and not all who are born into the nation of Israel are truly members of God’s people. It does mention that “Isaac is the son through whom your descendants will be counted” and right after mentions that Abraham had other children too. What does this mean? That not all of Abraham’s children are children of God, only the children of the promise. A Christian Zionist could argue that this is implying that the descendants of Isaac are the children of the promise because “Isaac is the one through whom your descendants will be counted” and that not all of Abraham’s physical descendants are children of God. This would be a flawed argument as it also says in this passage that not all of those born into the nation of Israel are members of God’s people. So not all of those who are from the nation of Israel are God’s people, only the children of the promise. So who are the children of the promise? If it’s not all of the children of Abraham and it’s not all of the nation of Israel, who are the children of the promise? The answer is, the followers, Jew or Gentile. Doesn’t matter what you race, nationality or ethnicity is, you can still be a child of the promise. To prove this, we need to go back to Galatians 3:23-29 “Before the way of faith in Christ was available to us, we were placed under guard by the law. We were kept in protective custody, so to speak, until the way of faith was revealed. Let me put it another way. The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith. And now that the way of faith has come, we no longer need the law as our guardian. For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.” So the Christians are the true children of Abraham and they inherit the promise. So the children of the promise are truly members of God’s people. Let’s continue to look at Romans. “For God had promised, ‘I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.’ This son was our ancestor Isaac. When he married Rebekah, she gave birth to twins. But before they were born, before they had done anything good or bad, she received a message from God. (This message shows that God chooses people according to his own purposes; he calls people, but not according to their good or bad works.) She was told, ‘Your older son will serve your younger son.’ In the words of the Scriptures, ‘I loved Jacob, but I rejected Esau.’ Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not! For God said to Moses, ‘I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.’ So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.” Romans 9:9-16 Christian Zionists can use this to defend their “Jews are still the chosen people” belief. A Christian Zionist could say “what’s wrong with Jews being the chosen people? Doesn’t it say that God chooses people according to his own purposes?” God does choose people according to his own purposes and God did choose the Jews according to his own purposes. In the Old Testament, God guided the Jews and made promises to them and in the New Testament, these promises were fulfilled with the coming of Jesus Christ who came from the Jewish people and shared the truth to both Jews and Gentiles. And now, both Jews and Gentiles can become chosen by becoming believers. All these promises have been fulfilled, the Israeli occupation of Palestine, the oppression and the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, the destruction of the beautiful country of Palestine is not something God supports. The next few passages in Romans 9:17-23 is about how God shows his mercy to people. Romans 9:24-29 talks more about Jews and Gentiles: “And we are among those whom he selected, both from the Jews and from the Gentiles. Concerning the Gentiles, God says in the prophecy of Hosea, ‘Those who were not my people, I will now call my people. And I will love those whom I did not love before.’ And, ‘Then, at the place where they were told, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’’ And concerning Israel, Isaiah the prophet cried out, ‘Though the people of Israel are as numerous as the sand of the seashore, only a remnant will be saved. For the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth quickly and with finality.’ And Isaiah said the same thing in another place: ‘If the Lord of Heaven’s Armies had not spared a few of our children, we would have been wiped out like Sodom, destroyed like Gomorrah.’” Prophecies in the Old Testament, the Jewish scriptures, talk about how Gentiles will become God’s people. So when talking about prophecies in the Old Testament about Israel, we must acknowledge that the Old Testament has prophecies about Gentiles becoming the chosen people of God. The reason only a remnant of the Jews shall be saved is because the majority of the Jews rejected Jesus. This shows how God always had a plan to bring both Jew and Gentile one in Christ. After this, Romans 9 moves on to a new section called “Israel’s unbelief”. In this section, it shows how following the law doesn’t make you right with God and only faith can make you right with God. “What does all this mean? Even though the Gentiles were not trying to follow God’s standards, they were made right with God. And it was by faith that this took place. But the people of Israel, who tried so hard to get right with God by keeping the law, never succeeded. Why not? Because they were trying to get right with God by keeping the law instead of by trusting in him. They stumbled over the great rock in their path. God warned them of this in the Scriptures when he said, ‘I am placing a stone in Jerusalem that makes people stumble, a rock that makes them fall. But anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.’” Romans 9:30-33 Following the law doesn’t make you a true member of God’s people, faith does. That’s why God chose Abraham, not because of his works but because of his faith. That’s why Jesus came, so people could be saved by faith and not by works. After this passage, Romans 9 finishes and we then turn the page to Romans 10. ~Romans 10~ We open Romans 10 with Paul talking about how the Jews have a love for God but have a “misdirected zeal” as Paul put it. “Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. For they don’t understand God’s way of making people right with himself. Refusing to accept God’s way, they cling to their own way of getting right with God by trying to keep the law. For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.” Romans 10:1-4 The Jewish people do indeed want to follow God but in this passage of the Bible, the Jews have been misdirected on how exactly to follow God. Christian Zionists could say that since Paul wants Israel to be saved, that could somehow support their pro-Israel agenda when in reality, Paul is just saying how bad he feels for the people of Israel and how they rejected God. It says “For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God”. Jesus came so we could be made right with God, Jew or Gentile. Romans 10 moves on to a new section called “Salvation is for everyone”, and notice how it says everyone and not just the Jews. In this New section, it says ‘If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.’ Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” Romans 10:9-13 As I said, the New Testament makes it crystal clear that being a Jew doesn’t automatically make you right with God, neither does it make you chosen by God. Neither your works nor your ethnicity can make you right with God, only faith. Despite this, Christian Zionists continue to support Israel, the oppressor, and stand against Palestine, the oppressed. This is also a contradiction with scripture because in the New Testament, we see Jesus standing up for the oppressed. “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!’ But not everyone welcomes the Good News, for Isaiah the prophet said, ‘Lord, who has believed our message?’ So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. But I ask, have the people of Israel actually heard the message? Yes, they have: ‘The message has gone throughout the earth, and the words to all the world.’ But I ask, did the people of Israel really understand? Yes, they did, for even in the time of Moses, God said, ‘I will rouse your jealousy through people who are not even a nation. I will provoke your anger through the foolish Gentiles.’ And later Isaiah spoke boldly for God, saying, ‘I was found by people who were not looking for me. I showed myself to those who were not asking for me.’ But regarding Israel, God said, ‘All day long I opened my arms to them, but they were disobedient and rebellious.’” Romans 10:14-21 Israel rebelled and to this day, God is still trying to save them because God remains faithful. In fact, there is no human being on earth that God is not trying to bring to faith, not a single human being. Jew or Gentile. Israeli or Palestinian. Greek or Turkish. Armenian or Azerbaijani. Indian or Pakistani. North Sudanese or South Sudanese. Ethiopian or Eritrean. Saudi or Yemeni. Any race, nationality or ethnicity on earth, God is trying to save all of them and God cares for all of them. God loves everyone. After this, the book of Romans goes on to a new chapter, Romans 11. This chapter starts off with the title “God’s mercy on Israel”. This chapter is probably most used by Christian Zionists to support their agenda. “I ask, then, has God rejected his own people, the nation of Israel? Of course not! I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham and a member of the tribe of Benjamin. No, God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning. Do you realize what the Scriptures say about this? Elijah the prophet complained to God about the people of Israel and said, ‘Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me, too.’ And do you remember God’s reply? He said, ‘No, I have 7,000 others who have never bowed down to Baal!’” Romans 11:1-4 After all we have read, about how God accepts Jew and Gentile and how salvation is for everyone, Romans 11:1-4 comes up, trying to tell us that God still cares for the people of Israel and has not rejected them. When it says “No, God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning.” It is simply saying that the Israelites were the first people chosen (“chosen from the very beginning”) and God has not rejected the first people who followed and worshipped God. Notice how it does not say, “God has not rejected the people of Israel because they are still chosen”, it says “God has not rejected his own people, whom he chose from the very beginning.” Meaning that God hasn’t abandoned the first people who accepted him even though they rejected him. In the Greek translation, “οὐκ ἀπώσατο ὁ Θεὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ ὃν προέγνω.” Means “God did not forsake his people before me” and it refers to the people of Israel as “his people” because they were the first people to come to faith, the first people of God. They aren’t the only people of God and they aren’t the people who are chosen above others now, they are just the first people to come to faith. This passage of the Bible is trying to clarify that God did not abandon the Israelites or reject them but just because God didn’t reject them doesn’t mean they are chosen above anybody else. Jews were the first people of God, they aren’t the only people of God and since there are other people of God who aren’t Israeli, that means all people of God, Jew or Gentile are chosen. “It is the same today, for a few of the people of Israel have remained faithful because of God’s grace—his undeserved kindness in choosing them. And since it is through God’s kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God’s grace would not be what it really is—free and undeserved. So this is the situation: Most of the people of Israel have not found the favor of God they are looking for so earnestly. A few have—the ones God has chosen—but the hearts of the rest were hardened. As the Scriptures say, ‘God has put them into a deep sleep. To this day he has shut their eyes so they do not see, and closed their ears so they do not hear.’ Likewise, David said, ‘Let their bountiful table become a snare, a trap that makes them think all is well. Let their blessings cause them to stumble, and let them get what they deserve. Let their eyes go blind so they cannot see, and let their backs be bent forever.’ Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! They were disobedient, so God made salvation available to the Gentiles. But he wanted his own people to become jealous and claim it for themselves. Now if the Gentiles were enriched because the people of Israel turned down God’s offer of salvation, think how much greater a blessing the world will share when they finally accept it. I am saying all this especially for you Gentiles. God has appointed me as the apostle to the Gentiles. I stress this, for I want somehow to make the people of Israel jealous of what you Gentiles have, so I might save some of them. For since their rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, their acceptance will be even more wonderful. It will be life for those who were dead! And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy, their descendants will also be holy—just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as an offering is holy. For if the roots of the tree are holy, the branches will be, too. But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree. But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root. ‘Well,’ you may say, ‘those branches were broken off to make room for me.’ Yes, but remember—those branches were broken off because they didn’t believe in Christ, and you are there because you do believe. So don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could happen.” Romans 11:5-20 The majority of the Israelites rejected Jesus and only a small amount of the Israelites actually accepted Jesus. The ones that didn’t accept Jesus were broken off from Abraham’s tree and the Gentiles who accepted Jesus replaced them. The reason Paul wants to make the Jews jealous was because Paul was a Jew who cares for his people and since the Gentiles were accepting Jesus and receiving all of God’s gifts, Paul hoped that the Jews would see this, become jealous and accept Jesus as well. We Gentiles are warned not to brag about we replaced the Jews who haven’t accepted Jesus (yet). This is not to say that Gentiles replaced the Jews, only the Jewish and Gentile believers are allowed to be part of Abraham’s tree. It’s just that the majority of Jews haven’t accepted Jesus and therefore, were cut off from Abraham’s tree, not because they were Jewish but because they didn’t accept Jesus. To prove this, let’s look at the next part of Romans 11. “For if God did not spare the original branches, he won’t spare you either. Notice how God is both kind and severe. He is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off. And if the people of Israel turn from their unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God has the power to graft them back into the tree. You, by nature, were a branch cut from a wild olive tree. So if God was willing to do something contrary to nature by grafting you into his cultivated tree, he will be far more eager to graft the original branches back into the tree where they belong.” Romans 11:21-24 God will still accept the Jewish people and put them back on the tree of Abraham as he put us (the Gentiles believers and the Jewish believers) on the tree of Abraham. And even the Gentile unbelievers, if they were to accept Jesus, they would be grafted into the tree of Abraham. Any unbeliever, Jew or Gentile, can become a believer and be grafted into the tree of Abraham. Romans 11 moves on to “God’s mercy is for everyone”, notice how it says everyone and not just the Jews. “I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say, ‘The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem, and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness. And this is my covenant with them, that I will take away their sins.’” Romans 11:25-27 Everyday, more and more Gentiles are coming to faith and according to the Bible, once the full number of Gentiles have come to faith, Israel shall be saved as well. “Many of the people of Israel are now enemies of the Good News, and this benefits you Gentiles. Yet they are still the people he loves because he chose their ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.” Romans 11:28-29 Christian Zionists can use this to support their agenda by saying “since God’s gifts and his call can never been withdrawn, that would mean the promise that the Jews would possess the Holy Land can’t be withdrawn”, it wasn’t. As I said many times throughout this book, God did not cancel his promises to the Jews, he already fulfilled them. If I promise you that I will give you 20$ tomorrow so you could go buy food for the entire family, and then tomorrow I keep my promise and then you come back with the food and we all finished eating dinner, my promise was fulfilled. In the same way, the land was promised to the Jews so the Messiah, Jesus, who was a Jew, could come from the Jewish nation to spread the truth and now both Jew and Gentile can be saved. This was the purpose of the promise given to the Jews, and this purpose was fulfilled. This war is a result of human greed and yes, God talks about war happening in Israel, doesn’t mean that he wants the war to happen. God’s gifts to the Jews were not withdrawn, they were fulfilled. It says that the Jews are still the people God loves and this is true, this does not mean that the Jews are chosen, this simply means they are the people God loves. God also loves the Gentiles. The reason Paul says that the Jews are still the people God loves is because the Jews rejected Jesus and Paul wanted to make it clear that despite their rejection, God still loves and cares for the Jewish people. “Once, you Gentiles were rebels against God, but when the people of Israel rebelled against him, God was merciful to you instead. Now they are the rebels, and God’s mercy has come to you so that they, too, will share in God’s mercy. For God has imprisoned everyone in disobedience so he could have mercy on everyone. Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways! For who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice? And who has given him so much that he needs to pay it back? For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.” Romans 11:30-36 God’s desire is for all Jews and Gentiles to worship and accept God. submitted by UsualBug5241 to ArabicChristians [link] [comments] |

2023.06.03 22:52 SimonaFM Loved The Witching Hour but hated the main character? Should I give other Rice novels a shot?
I recently finished The Witching Hour, and I really enjoyed it. Actually, I absolutely loved the book, except I hated the main character so much it almost ruined the third half of the book for me.
Rowan's character is (in my opinion) star contender for "How to Not Write Female Characters 101". She is the archetype of a Mary Sue (although I recognize that she is supposed to be as ideal a human as possible due to the inbreeding). I felt like I couldn't get through one page she was in where we weren't reminded that she's the smartest, most beautiful, richest woman in the world. Which would be tolerable, except she was also incredibly boring and unlikeable. Instead of making her independent and strong, it seemed like she was just written as an ice-queen with no real kindness, humor, or redeeming qualities. Her character was so unlikeable and absurd to me, I almost gave up on the book a couple of times.
I'm wondering if this is how Rice writes most of her characters or if I should give her other books a chance. Or maybe I'm in the minority with my opinion on the character.
I don't think I'll read the other Mayfair Witches books, but I'd like to try some of her other works. Should I try something else or quit while I'm ahead?

2023.06.03 22:52 Traditional-Nebula63 Need some support - GW reveal to new partner
I have had recurrent GWS since I was 21 (now 33). I got them from my now ex wife at the start of our relationship. She had a couple show up a few months after we started having sex and got them treated and they never came back. My first ones showed up a few months later and I got them treated and they disappeared. Over the years I would get recurrences every 6-18months and get them treated. I got the vaccine a couple of years ago and it had been 2 years since a recurrence. I thought I had maybe cleared it finally.
In January I separated from my wife. I had put the warts out of my mind and recently started looking for a new relationship. Unfortunately a month and a half ago i noticed a small flat wart. I don’t want to go into detail but I was overzealous with the wart removal method and now I believe I have a permanent scar there. It’s on the underside of my penis near base of shaft. It burnt and I believe it will be a pink/white permanent patch.
In the meantime I have been seeing a lovely new lady for maybe 7 weeks or so. We have kissed a few times. I asked her if she was vaccinated and she wasn’t. I told her a half truth that my wife tested positive for HR hpv so I would have that (this is true). She went and got her first dose of the vaccine 3 weeks ago. She seemed to want to progress things physically regardless of HR hpv but I slowed things down. We have slept in the same bed together but no sex. She seems really into me and I like her a lot.
I have been so concerned about my scar and recurrent warts that I was freaking out and had to tell her. I called her a few nights ago and told her my story (didn’t mention the scar just the warts). We were going to hang out the next night. She seemed fine with it over the phone but I woke up next morning to message saying that she’s had a busy week and can we meet next week instead.
Since then we have been messaging as normal but perhaps less intense and loving from her.
I really don’t know how I’m going to get through this if she rejects me for this. I’m so ashamed and embarrassed that I have scarred myself and feel like no one will ever want to touch me. How do I regain hope for the future? Does anyone out there have a partner who doesn’t care and has a normal sex life?

2023.06.03 22:52 Connect-Try2471 Audiobooks, Libby and the Public Library
So I'm not sure where to begin this post but I'll start off with that I've been visually impaired for almost a decade now. Reading books without the aid of magnification is almost impossible and as a kid who grew up reading everything I could get my hands on it was kind of depressing as my condition slowly progressed.
I ended up getting a kindle and that was great for awhile, I could read on the bus and increase the font size and it was great. I could read a little bit every day on my way to work or to school and it was great. But then as time progressed I started to lose even more of my vision and it became more and more difficult to focus my eyes and stay on track with the kindle.
I started using audible last year and it really was a gamechanger for me, I was burning through a book a week and I had years of reading to catch up on. I told everyone about my new 'hobby' and it wasn't until my brother recommended the app "Libby" to me that my life truly changed. It's like audible, but FREE. I'm sure other people have talked about the app before on this subreddit but I'm still telling everyone I talk to who reads about this app.
I still can't get over how easy it is to use, how I've been able to read hundreds of dollars worth of books in a couple months for free from the public library AND get amazing recommendations from them as well. Sure there's a bit of a wait list, but after using the app for a month it's hard not to build up a small catalogue of books on hold that are automatically delivered to your phone on a weekly basis.
Anyway, I couldn't be more excited to be able to immerse myself in books again. These last few months have really been a gamechanger for me, I've been able to catch up on almost a decade of reading and I don't plan on stopping for awhile.

2023.06.03 22:44 MrCandieBarz 24 M4F #Howell, Michigan It’s getting hot and it’s making me eager to breed!
I’m a 5’7”, 140 pound white male, with a 7” cock, massive loads, (who will provide pics and vids early on), looking to impregnate any willing people needing a NSA donor around me.
I’m not too picky on my type, but women with heavy asses, or straight up bbw women get extra points in my book. Age isn’t a problem either, my first impregnation was a woman in her forties!
I have two successful breedings under my belt, and am hoping to continue to build my successes as much as I can.
I cannot host, because of me never having time alone from my roommates usually.
If all of this sounds fine to you, please do drop a dm, so we can talk to make sure we’re both into each other, and get something planned out!

I’ve been tinkering with 1.0 for the past month or so, and I feel ready to release the 1.1 update! I’ve added a bunch more back of the book content, like rules for playing as Werewolves and Vampires, customized crafting rules and example items, and more lore about the denizens of Bay Megacity.
All those blank white spaces? Just begging to be filled with art I intend to at some point commission! Stay tuned for more, and as always any and all feedback is appreciated!

2023.06.03 22:39 Otherwise-Data6698 BWWM Romance
Hi! There was a book I read quite a while ago, the female MC was black and she worked at a bar and the male MC was white. The female MC had an ex-boyfriend that her parents approved of but he abused her and towards the end of the book, he beats her up pretty bad and she ends up in the hospital. When she wakes up in the hospital bed, the white MC has either braided her hair or put it in a bonnet. I know this is so random but I’m trying to remember anything I can haha, any ideas are appreciated!!

2023.06.03 22:36 chronic-venting Culture of Abuse: On the "cruel indifference" of France's Catholic Church
Rafia Zakaria
October 8, 2021 The French, everybody knows, love a good scandal. Now they've got one, however, that should be abhorrent even to them. This week, an investigative group called the Independent Commission on Sexual Abuse in the Church released a 2,500-page report finding that members of the Catholic Church, including both clergy and lay staff, have abused an estimated 330,000 minors in France since 1950. "The victims," Jean-Marc Sauvé, the chair of the commission, said, "were not believed, were not listened to. When they were listened to, they were considered to have perhaps contributed to what had happened to them." The Church, he added, had treated the victims with "cruel indifference."
The Catholic Church has been a cauldron of scandals around the sexual abuse of minors. In Ireland, the United States, and many other countries, alarming cover-ups were an essential part of this story, in which people who could have spoken out, who could have protected the victims, simply did not do the right thing. In France, however, protecting children from [predatory] adults appears to have an aspect of cultural obstinacy that is not present elsewhere. One of the startling findings of the commission is that "while, in absolute and relative terms, these acts of [sexual] violence were in decline up until the early 1990s, they have since stopped decreasing. The Catholic Church is the place where the prevalence of sexual violence is at its highest, other than in family and friend circles."
Unlike most countries where the Catholic Church has provided cover to [child predators], France has long resisted the idea of "statutory rape." Though sex between adults and minors under fifteen was illegal, it was not prosecuted as rape unless there was proof of coercion or force. That is, until the law was changed in April of this year. The history of why it took so long to establish a firm age of consent in France provides insight into how the sexual abuse of minors was getting a covert nod. Take for instance that time in 1977, when a group of philosophers, Michel Foucault among them, wrote an open letter in favor of three Frenchmen who were about to go on trial for having sex with thirteen- or fourteen-year-old girls and boys. The letter, also signed by Gilles Deleuze, Jacques Derrida, and Roland Barthes, among others, described the pre-trial imprisonment of the three men as "
scandalous." It went on to argue that there was a disproportion between the acts in question being qualified as criminal and their nature. Children, the authors argued, were considered fully responsible for their acts at the age of twelve or thirteen, so it made no sense that they could not consent to sex [with adults].
Until this April, the issue of whether children can consent [to sex with adults] remained up for debate in France. Writing in
The Atlantic, Marie Doezema recounted a case from 2017 in which a twenty-eight-year-old man had sex with an eleven-year-old girl. When the case went to court, the man was charged only with the vaguely titled "sexual infraction." When the consent issue was litigated in court, the defense argued that the girl was capable of giving consent since she was really almost twelve. Thankfully, the court disagreed, ruling that the eleven-year-old girl was not able to provide consent and that rape charges be filed against the defendant even though there was no evidence of coercion.
Then there is the recently published book by Vanessa Springora, the former mistress of celebrated French author Gabriel Matzneff, describing what it was like to be thirteen years old and seduced by a celebrity author more than two decades older than her. For his part, Matzneff has not even attempted to hide his [sexualization of] children,
saying in 1975, "I think that adolescents, young children, say between age ten and sixteen, are perhaps at the age where their emotional and sexual impulses are strongest, because they are new." It was not just statements, either; in his work, Matzneff wrote copiously about his "affairs" with minors, particularly in South East Asia.
The French literary elite did not care, however. Despite Matzneff making this and similar statements in public, he continued to be a darling in this milieu. In 2013, Matzneff was awarded the
Renaudot Prize despite his penchant for [child sexual abuse]. But in 2020, he was at last charged with the promotion of the sexual abuse of children, with a trial set to begin this fall.
Until this April, the issue of whether children can consent remained up for debate in France.
Given this context, it makes sense that the Catholic Church in France would have had a wider berth than in much of Europe or in North America. While Matzneff has been charged, one wonders how much cultural will and moral clarity really exists when it comes to the prosecution of [child predators] and the castigation of [child sexual abuse]. Catholic priests are not part of the French cultural establishment, but they are part of the culture itself. If Foucault and Deleuze and Barthes can argue that children can consent [to sex with adults] even at the of twelve, the Catholic Church can similarly rationalize that while sexual acts were violations of the Church's teachings, they were not actually crimes. Due to the statute of limitations, many of the [sexually abusive] priests cannot be retroactively [prosecuted].
The abused boys—and they were mostly boys—were primarily between the ages of ten and thirteen, and there are approximately 2,900 members of the clergy who are implicated. The report has urged the Church to consider allowing [...] because the issue of [...] arguably contributes to priests' likelihood to sexually abuse the children who come under their influence. For its part, the Catholic Church seems uninterested in doing any such thing. The matter of compensating victims from Church finances has also been distasteful to the church hierarchy: until last year, bishops in the church were suggesting providing victims a "contribution," with funds raised by churchgoers.
Digging into the details of this new report and the issue of abusive priests in France feels like charting a course through the maze-like catacombs that sit under Paris. The long resistance against a set age of consent appears to substantiate the idea that the French ideal of "seduction" is somehow endangered when legal limits are placed on it. The Matzneff scandal, and now this latest one involving quite literally hundreds of thousands of people, reveals who pays the price. In the desire to give primacy to the possibility of seduction, the French refuse to acknowledge the huge differences in power between a child and a fully developed adult—the latter likely titillated by that sense of their superior power.
This is not the France of
Emily in Paris, or even the one fantasized about by middle-aged American women. This is not one of the romanticized stories that the world likes to tell about France and its monopoly on the stylish and the chic. France, too, seems to believe this lie about itself, hiding and ignoring the problem, then boldly arguing that children being forced into having sexual relations with adults are somehow experiencing a seduction. It's a disgusting thought, but it reveals the dark side of a society that has made sexual
liberté its identifying brand. The children, it appears, must also be subsumed under this umbrella, with ten- and eleven-year-old bodies imagined by celebrated authors as equal partners in lovemaking.
Things do not look good for French children who remain within the radius of the Catholic Church. The identification of [adult] sexual relations with a child as morally reprehensible should be a black-and-white issue. French culture, on the other hand, insists on demanding space for the grey, where the alchemy of desire (in their view) produces pleasure. In the same way that female genital mutilation is imagined as being endemic to certain cultures, [child sexual abuse], too, must be considered a particular product of French culture and a human rights issue. Indeed, if the world community can get together to denounce FGM with countries like Sweden even permitting genital exams of girls with roots in certain African countries, so too must there be similar attention given to the safety of French children. The only way to make this scourge go away is to force the unwilling and cruel French perpetrators to pay, to take away their
"liberté,
" which has become cover for cruelty.

2023.06.03 22:34 Queuetie42 Paradigm Shift Strain Review by Art and Craft for Clouded Valley and Frens [Community Requested]
| Paradigm Shift Strain Review by Art and Craft Request reply by u/Colonel_Lingus710 + 6 votes Source of Purchase: Living Soil direct on 420 week Genetics: (GMO x Daychanger OG) Grown by Art and Craft. Breeder: Unknown Texture: Slightly Dry to the eye on the surface but a tiny squeeze reveals a nice snap. I don’t deal in Sativa style buds as much but it just has that ‘Sativa’ look. Not exactly pretty but stay tuned! Nose: Super Strong Lime and a slight Orange front with some of that Myrcene smell (someone give me a descriptor for that please) with GMO funk notes at the back end. GMO can lean three ways for me. This is funk not earth or onions. Skunky Garlic Body Odor type but it’s faint here as the Daychanger stole the show. Very sticky once you break up as well! Never judge a nug by it’s bag appeal! This review will prove that. Nose credits always go to my girlfriend as she doesn’t smoke and has a nose like a bloodhound (the cutest one ever) Flavor: Taste follows the nose and it’s terpy peeps! Lotsa Lime and just basically full spectrum citrus floods your mouth. Slight bit of musk on the back end from the GMO I suspect. Heavily leaning Daychanger OG which is impressive. GMO is dominant 🧬 Effects: All chest at the start. That hum that tells you get moving. Love it in a day strain which this absolutely is. If you need GMO potency without the lazy and like citrus here you go. Similar to my thoughts on Fireflys MacRib in my last review but with a different flavor profile. As the high settles in and the bowl turns to pure white ash (smooth as hell smoke as expected by living soil grows) I can see why the strain was named as it was along with Daychanger OG. I am left in a very cheery mood. Mornings are hard for me so my first smoke of the day can make or break the first half of the day. I would put my faith in this any wake and bake. Test Medium: My short straight glass pipe (always a freshly cleaned pipe with every review) White Ash Test: ✅ Conclusion: Never Ever Judge Flower by it’s pictures ever! Especially post chop pictures taken by a shaky handed stoner on an iPhone SE. Art said he put most of this cut into hash which I have on order for my next purchase. This is going to be a daily driver for me. I may replace DFT as my go to can’t decide daily morning strain. 💚 Next Strain for review by request via random number generator will be: GMO Rootbeer by Discerning Meds [Disclosure: I am a NY MMJ patient. 2023.06.03 22:33 Legitimate-Record951 CMV: most peoples understanding of "cold light” is superstitious pseudoscience
White light is light where the entire color spectrum is represented somewhat evenly. If it has a slightly redish tint (longer wavelength) we call it "warm light". If it has a slightly bluish tint (shorter wavelength), we call it "cold light".
We normally associate light with warmth, so “cold light” sounds kinda unatural and foreboding. Some people, rather than seeing it as light which is slightly bluish, envision it to be some kind of alien, incidious threat. If I explain that you can just paint a light bulb yellow if you're worried about cold light, they don't buy it; to them, cold light are beyond mundane concepts such as "slight bluish tint" and more in the area of chaos theory and quantium mechanics, deep deep stuff on the border of human understanding but very science indeed.
The light from your phone is said to be slightly bluish. so the wierd understanding of light gets combined with technophobia where “Cold Light” gets hyped as some sort of terror beam streaming out of your phone and incidiously interrupting your sleep, prompting people to apply a yellowish filter to ward it off. Now, smart phones messes with your head big time, and not in a subtle way. Putting a yellow filter on your smart phone is akin to ordering two tiny pieces of sliced apple with your Big Mac because, you know, health.
I think that it's okay to do science on what effect slightly tinted light may have. But the science is shaky at best.
Some experiment showed that mice sleep somewhat
better when exposed to subdued blue light (cold light) compared to when they were exposed to subdued yellow light AKA the excact opposite of what was ordinarily claimed.

2023.06.03 22:33 Mothe-Cache777 Two obscure clothing questions
Was reading through the
Tailoring page on the Stardew Wiki, and came out of it with 2 somewhat complex questions.
- There are three unobtainable shirts - the Red Buttoned Vest, the Neat Bow Shirt, and the Tie Dye Shirt. If these are unobtainable, why are they in the game? Do they have item IDs and just have no way of being created? Could they be cheated via the naming glitch?
- What differentiates the Prismatic Shard items? (Prismatic Shirt, Prismatic Shirt (white sleeves), Prismatic Shirt (black sleeves), Prismatic Pants, Prismatic Genie Pants) They are all listed as just being cloth tailored with a Prismatic Shard. Is it random?
I imagine these questions might rely on a dataminer, but I thought I'd put them out in the hopes of getting an answer. Thank you all!

2023.06.03 22:32 mfbrownbear [P5V5P4] The Bible, and what it takes to rule
I have gotten curious about what is actually written in the Bible, versus what is written in the Grutrissheit. I am also curious as to why there are so many copies / translations / transcriptions of the bible without there being a complete copy in the archives.
When Myne was an apprentice blue shrine maiden and was allowed access to the Temple book room, she read the Bible. Then she read different copies of the Bible in the Temple book room. She was reading versions so old that Damuel couldn't read them at all, and Ferdinand had to help her with the translation. [P2V3]
Then, she later became the High Bishop and was made the owner of the Temple's primary Bible. A magic tool. At some point later, after new material started appearing to her in that Bible, and she asks Ferdinand for advice:
In [P4V7]
"So this is the bible only the High Bishop can read, hm? What makes it different from other bibles?" Justus asked. He was eagerly flipping through the pages, but his response proved that he couldn't see the magic circle or the text in the air.
"It is a more complete version - or, at the very least, it has more details than any of the transcriptions in the temple's book room," I replied. There were several transcriptions of the bible in the temple's book room, but their page counts varied quite dramatically.
Most of the older stuff in the temple book room would have come from old Eisenreich, since Ehrenfest is only a couple of hundred years old. I imagine all of the original Eisenreich temple's divine instruments and Bible and documents got moved to the new Ehrenfest temple when the foundation was moved. I would have thought that Rozemyne, upon becoming the owner of the Bible when she was made High Bishop and finding she could read all the way to the end of the book, would have started a new and more complete transcription right away. At the time, not knowing that no one else can read as much of it as she can, she would have also wondered why no one had fully transcribed it before.
In [P4V1] Rozemyne hears about the Grutrissheit for the first time from Rosina.
She went on the explain that the Grutrissheit was the original bible, owned by Mestionora herself. The first king of the country had been chosen by the gods and permitted to transcribe a copy.
Then, in [P4V7] while she is talking to Ferdinand about the new magic circle and text that started showing up in her Bible:
As the bible described, the position of Zent was given to those who transcribed the original Grutrissheit. Ferdinand explained that over the long years hence, this had morphed into the current Zent passing his transcribed version down to the next. The passed-down Grutrissheit itself had become the symbol of the Zent.
This transcription had been lost during the civil war following the previous king's death. Now, the current king needed to transcribe a new one from the original Grutrissheit... but its location remained unknown.
Then, Ferdinand tells Rozemyne that even if she meets every other qualification, she will still never see the original Grutrissheit.
"You certainly have all of the qualities necessary to become king. However, there is one crucial condition that you have not fulfilled."
"And what condition is that?" I asked, looking at the bible curiously.
"It is simple," Ferdinand said. "You were born a commoner and thus do not have royal blood. For that reason, you cannot become king."
"Royal blood...? The bible doesn't say anything about needing that."
Ferdinand tapped a finger against his temple in contemplation and then let out a sigh. "In the same way that only certain people can enter this hidden room, the Grutrissheit is within an archive that only royalty can enter - or so an ancient text maintains. In other words, you will not be able to enter that archive, nor will you be able to transcribe the book. No matter how many kingly qualities you may have, you cannot become king."
After Rozemyne cries about having her hopes dashed that Prince Hildebrand wouldn't be able to let her into the Forbidden Archive to at least read the book ..
"Besides, the Grutrissheit in the archive is the first king's transcription, so we can assume it is nearly identical to this bible we have with us.
So, all of this has left me feeling a bit confused. By my count, there are 3 versions of the Grutrissheit. Four, if you count the Bibles.
- The Book of Mestionora. The one held by the goddess herself. THE Original Grutrissheit. She does not lend it out. The first Zent was allowed to make a copy.
- The First Zent's Grutrissheit. The only direct transcription from the Book of Mestionora. The first worldly version of the book. Yurgenschmidt's Original Grutrissheit, the one used to create the country. Claimed to be in the Forbidden Archive, only accessible to those with royal blood. Perhaps anyone with access to the Forbidden Archive could make a copy.
- The Grutrissheit. I guess the "normal" one. The one that all Zents after the first one had to transcribe from his. Like the one that was lost during the recent civil war. Was this the only one around though? It sounds like there can be more than one copy. If anyone qualified to enter the forbidden archive can make a copy, then it's possible.
It appears that the Book of Mestionora has only ever been seen by one person, the First Zent. Most mentions of the "original" Grutrissheit refer to the one owned by the First Zent. Also, it isn't clear if the qualifications to enter the Forbidden Archive to get a copy of the Grutrissheit are needed to simply pass along an existing copy. I would think that not being qualified to
get a Grutrissheit would disqualify you from being able to
use one either. Would Trauerqual or Sigiswald even be able to use one someone else gave them?
So, if Rozemyne meets all the other qualifications, but still can't enter the Forbidden Archive due to not having royal blood, then everyone's plans are screwed. If that happens the rampage will be, ironically, biblical. I could see Rozemyne at that point demanding to speak to the manager.
Rozemyne: "Get Mestionora down here NOW! I pay my prayer taxes! I demand to make my own copy directly from her! I will boycott! You will never see another drop of mana from me, or my retainers, I swear!"
Question: Would Rozemyne rather read the 1st edition print of the Grutrissheit in the Forbidden Archive, or would she rather make her own custom print from the Book of Mestionora herself?
Answer: Both. Obviously. She would want to compare and even smell the differences.
But, now I wonder about the difference between the "hidden" archive that requires the 3 keys to open, and the "forbidden" archive that only Royals can enter. It was said that only Royals and select archduke family members could enter the Hidden Archive. Those that didn't meet the criteria were told "Not qualified" by the shumils. Perhaps after you fulfill all of the other hidden qualifications that make the shumil say things like "Not enough elements" and "Not enough prayer" they would lead you to the Forbidden Archive? Ferdinand also explained that "Royal blood" was spread around the duchy in a way, while describing his thoughts on the nature of the Temple Bibles.
[P4V7]
"Furthermore, the archdukes in the distant past were married to those of royal blood," Ferdinand continued. "In other words, one could say that more or less all children of archdukes have royal blood to some extent. Perhaps the first king distributed these bibles to each duchy such that the strongest of all those with his blood would be chosen to be king."
Based on how this describes archduke families having royal blood, and that those with enough of it can enter the Hidden Archive, I get a feeling that there is not a higher level of royal blood needed to enter the Forbidden Archive than is needed to enter the Hidden one. If that's the case, then Rozemyne already
does have royal blood.
If Rozemyne can enter the Hidden Archive, then she already meets the "select archduke candidate" criteria, even though she was born a commoner. It makes me think that "royal blood" might not mean genetic inheritance.
If it's possible to obtain "royal blood', i.e. become recognized as royal by magic, without actual blood relations, I can only think of two ways.
- Divine intervention. Whether from Divine Protections or some other way, I bet the gods could declare someone fit to rule and they would be recognized as royal by magic means.
- Mana interaction. Blood is heavily associated with a person's mana as well. The highest concentration of a person's mana is in their blood. Mana-mixing among family and lovers could theoretically change someone's mana to introduce "royal blood" to their system.
In the second scenario, Rozemyne could have only gotten her royal blood from Ferdinand, who admitted in the past that he has a fair amount of it. They haven't mixed mana as lovers of course, but their long association in the temple, performing rituals where their mana flows together, may have been enough. He also synchronized his mana with hers when he read her memories.
I really don't know what to expect anymore. Will Rozemyne be blocked from entering the Forbidden Archive? Will she summon a goddess? Even if she gets the Grutrissheit, will she be able to simply hand it off to someone not qualified to get it themselves? Someone send Ferdinand some Tylenol.

2023.06.03 22:29 cyberlilac why do teens treat arcades like the club
i went bowling with my friend and the entire place was jam packed with children. all the girls were wearing bodycon dresses, crop tops and tiny shorts. the boys did not make an effort, they were just wearing tracksuits ( they all had that broccoli zoomer hair ). there was one girl who was wearing a white knit t shirt and the longest denim shorts you’ve ever seen, but she’d pulled her top all the way down so you could see her entire lace bra and it was so funny imagining her doing her quick little outfit modification after leaving the house. there was another girl wearing a skintight pink minidress. do parents really just let them wear this stuff?
there were like 20 of them all sitting on top of the 2p machines on their phones so after we finished bowling we went opposite for pizza instead. pretty much exactly at 7:00 half the kids left so we went back and wasted ten pounds ( i got a candy scented candle )

Previous Jake‘s POV I was sitting on the wall surrounding the Wyvern’s Base, looking out into the surrounding area. My eyes were on the sky, and I saw several Neame flying high up in a grid pattern, each doing their patrols. While we, the familiars on the wall, watched the sky, they watched the grounds for miles around. You’re probably wondering why they don’t watch the sky, since they’re already up there, but it’s harder to do than you think. Besides, they can see more of the ground from up there than we can from down here. From where I was sitting, yes sitting, not standing, the Neame looked like little dots. To be honest, I don’t think our real job is to watch the skies. I’m pretty sure it’s to act as a last line of defense against ground attacks, but I don’t know why they would bother lying about that.
One of the other familiars, a big hairy thing called a skeker, but not named, came over and sat beside me. He looked like a mountain goat crossed with a bulldog, and he was just as friendly. I put a hand on his back and started petting him, and he started to purr; which surprised me the first time it happened. I asked his owner if I could name it, but she felt uncomfortable with that, and refused.
That’s been a trend lately; Neame feeling uncomfortable around me. For the past four months, ever since the attack by the court mages near the capital and the team Suma traveled with died, I have noticed a lot of the Neame have been treating me differently. They’ve been treating Suma differently too, but she lies and says it doesn’t bother her.
“See anything, Jake?” Suma asked over our private connection. The connection was something only she and I could hear, and allowed us to talk without speaking aloud.
“Everything still looks clear. What about you?” I asked back, still petting the skeker.
“I see something to the east. About fifteen seconds.” She said. That’s one of the ways the Neame denote distance, by how long it would take them to fly from one point to another. If the distance is short enough, they’ll use wingspans instead. Every second is about twenty or thirty meters. “It is small and trying to hide. Can you see it?”
I looked up at the sun, and quickly found east, then looked about where I thought she was talking about. “No, I don’t see anything. Should I go take a look?”
“No, I will alert the others.” She said, and ended the connection. I watched as two of the four dots dived down in the distance, before hovering above a patch of trees, but I couldn’t tell who they were. They stayed there for a few minutes, before flying back up. “False alarm, it was just a wild animal.” Suma said, and I sighed. Leaning against the skeker, my eyes started to get heavy.
Before I knew it, I was hearing Suma’s voice again, but it wasn’t in my head this time. “Jake?” She said. I opened my eyes, and saw her, as well as three others, perched on the wall’s railings nearby.
“Uh… yes?” I asked.
“Were you asleep?” Nine, one of the Neame with Suma, and a member of our squad, asked.
“No, I was…. resting my eyes.”
“For how long?” Odens, another member of our squad, wondered.
I looked up at the sun, which had moved about three inches in the sky, then back at them. “Not long.”
“If I do not get to sleep during a patrol, neither do you.” Rou, another member of our squad, joked.
“When you did not answer, I decided to come check on you.” Suma said.
“Sorry.” I stood up, accidentally waking the skeker too. “Well, at least I’m not the only sleepy-head.” Giving the skeker a pat on the head, I sent it back to its post. It was surprisingly smart, despite its goofy look.
“We need to get back to patrol.” Odens said, and glanced over to Suma. “We’ll give you a moment.” With that, the three of them flew off, leaving Suma and I alone on the wall.
“Are you still not sleeping well?” She asked. I shook my head. “It is more nightmares?”
I took a deep breath, “it’s always the same one.”
“Jake, you know if you ever want to talk about them, I will listen.”
“Thanks, I know. Would you mind summoning me real quick, so I can wake up?” I asked, and she agreed. She quickly performed a summoning spell, causing me to fade away for a moment, then reappear beside her. With that, the magic of the summoning restored my energy, waking me up.
“Jake… I have summoned you at least twice a day, for several days now. When was the last time you slept?”
“I don’t need to sleep if you keep summoning me.” I pointed out.
Suma sighed, “please try to sleep tonight. Going this long without it cannot be healthy.”
“I’ll be fine.”
“…Jake.”
“Fine. I’ll sleep tonight.”
“Thank you. I need to get back to patrol. Will you be okay?” The glittering sparkle that normally surrounds her, and every other Neame, was dulled.
“I’m awake now; go ahead.” I said. She flew away, towards the squad’s direction. Just in time too, because as soon as she was gone, I sat back down, already tired again, and with horrible cramps in my legs.
I fought through the pain, and the exhaustion, until our squad’s patrol was over. Suma flew to my room on base, then summoned me. I thanked her, and she left. Summoning my backpack, I pulled out some food my mum had put in for me, and had dinner while reading over her latest letter.
It started the way all of our letters do, with some details about our day, then any requests we may have for the other, but I’m usually the only one who has any, then that’s followed up with anything we feel the other needs to know. Apparently, in the four months I’ve been gone, the local police have put out an official arrest warrant for me, because I missed a court date for former Detective Lin’s stalking charge. That led to the charges against her being dropped, and the HMRC case against me getting reopened.
After writing a quick response to my mum’s letter, and pulling my phone out of my backpack, I sent my bag away with my letter in tow. This is how we have been communicating for the last several months. It’s slow, but it works. I told her to be careful with the bag, because she can’t touch it when I’m summoning it, or she might get pulled her too. She knows about what happened with Zachariah, and that it’s too dangerous for either of us to travel to the other right now.
Clicking my phone on, I turned on some music, and laid on my bed. I fought it, but eventually I did fall asleep. Just like every time before, I had that same nightmare.
It always starts off the same, I’m floating in an endless void, and forced to watch from a distance as my mum cries alone in her bed, slowly getting older and older, until she turns to dust. Then it usually moves on to Suma, who’s getting burned by purple flames; my flames. But it isn’t me who’s doing it, it’s the figure in flames, Deyja, the Chaos Dragon. And then, just like every time before, I jolt awake, sweating cold bullets, with my heart pounding so hard in my chest it hurts.
My phone’s still playing music, its charge says sixty percent battery remaining. Only two hours have passed since I fell asleep.
That’s enough, right? Yeah, for tonight… I thought.
