I recently decrypted a .WEM File into a .OGG File for game modding purposes, but the .OGG will NOT delete. Even when I force delete it with Shift + Delete, it won't go away. It just doesn't react to delete buttons at all. It also can't be renamed, trying to rename it crashes windows file explorer. The OGG doesn't even work, it gives an error when opened as audio. How can I get rid of this annoying file?!

I (M22) don't think I've ever actively tried to make new friends. All my friends were from high school and these were people I was "forced" to interact with every single day. It felt natural back then. Now that undergrad is over I realized how much my friends had grown apart. It feels like the natural progression, because of us being in different education and career paths. Now I'm starting to feel insanely lonely.
I spent the first few months of 2023 in denial that I needed social interaction/friends but it hit me really hard a month or two ago. I got extremely depressed and some horrible thoughts started creeping in. I decided to sign up for rec basketball as method to meet new people. I've enjoyed it, but I don't know how I make friends in these situations. With most of my teammates, interactions start and stop at basketball. We only play once a week so there isn't that much of an interaction in the first place. I didn't expect to come out of this with a whole new group of friends, but I haven't connected with anyone. It has me feeling insanely pessimistic about my future with social situations. We only have a couple more games together as a team, so that window is closing.
Another multiplier on top is my horrible experience making friends in high school. I moved 3 schools in the span of a semester, so every time I started creating a connection my family would move. It sounds dumb to say, but it left me kind of traumatized when it comes to social situations. I feel like unless I make that connection quickly, it'll never happen.
Any advice or Dr. K videos that might help me not lose all faith in myself? I really don't want to get back to that place I was a couple months ago, but I feel it starting again.

I have one particular direction I’ve wanted to head and this path has interested me ever since I was young. I received an amazing offer as a rookie down in the south.
There are a lot of great perks to my position. One thing I really like is working every other week. This could give me time to go home and see my family or explore this new place I’m living. Another great thing is I will be getting a lot of experience here. More so than if I went with another company with not as large of a fleet.
My boyfriend wants to focus on a different specialty. He’s gotten an offer far away in the mountains of the Carolinas. He’s really excited about the city (close to some friends), excited for the opportunity, and will be getting some kick ass bonuses.
The problem is that we want to be together, but someone is going to have to sacrifice their career goals. I don’t think either of us should have to! We should both be able to follow the career path we want. I’ve had the best year dating him and he’s so sweet! I don’t want to lose him. However, I don’t think either one of us wants to miss out on our opportunities!
Both of us could easily work for our respective companies 2-3 years and then be able to go anywhere in the country once we have experience. I’m just afraid of long distance. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Hey everyone I’m still pretty new to PC builds, but I just recently ran into a weird situation when I updated windows 11 after I installed a my new Ryzen 7 5800x. I guess the Update failed and now When I boot my PC I am able to access the login screen as usual with the different nature pics that windows cycles through, Though when I type in my pin it takes me to a all black screen with the cross mouse cursor. I am able to open task manager and open Google chrome and the new version of explorer. Things I have done-
Try to update windows again through the internet portals I do have and It will not allow me too (I can not access settings to try to force it that way) I looked in the BIOS for a back up boot and there is none saved
Updated all of my drivers for all of my hardware
Rebooted in safemode through the bios
I have went through all of the “7 tips for ….” Articles I can find on the internet
I guess my question would be would y’all say that the next easiest Course of Action would to be is replace my SSD and reformat it that way? I have almost nothing save on that drive to begin with so I would not mind loosing it all. Would this be the next easiest way to fix this issue? I have college courses beginning next week and it requires my PC so im trying everything to get my PC up and running again. Thank you all for reading and any help

My daughter will be joining pre-K in the Fall. We have 3 months to get her used to wearing wigs as a daily thing. I’ve joined an Alopecia Support group for kids & have read so many horror stories of young kids her age getting teased and stared at all the time for being bald which significantly has tormented these poor children. I lurk on my main but am using my spare account to post because my husband knows my main, so I hope I can post this request here.
My husbands birthday is upcoming and he’s super into DnD- as well as anything related and fantasy- and has been all of his life (at least 15+ years).
Recently, he finished a trilogy that I recommended he read - It was a fantasy trilogy with some DnD inspiration and maybe sone LoTR in there too, another of his favorites. He absolutely loved it but complained that it’s insanely difficult to find any fantasy books or those about a group on an adventure that’s got ups and downs and deaths and victories and failures, the whole nine yards. The lightbulb above my head went ding!
I’m an avid writer and have been for 10+ years. I’ve published works on a website and gained a decent following and an even better reading rate on my stories. So I’m beyond confident I can write a book for my husband, seeing as though I’ve watched him play DnD with friends and he’s gotten me into some games such as Baldurs Gate, Divinity, and Pathfinder to name a few.
The thing is, I’m almost barren on DnD knowledge. I’ve gotten a few characters down and an intro as well as some “side quests” and the ultimate villain at the end. I need help with anything else I might be missing. I’ve gotten the Players Handbook and I google the hell out of information, but I want this to be perfect.
I’ve gotten 6 main characters we start out with, as well as their races, backgrounds, alignments and weapons (working on this currently). My husband tends to play chaotic neutral or chaotic evil, so I’ve tailored side quests to flesh that out as well as events where his party members dying (one or two) that may or may not have to do with him.
The thing is I don’t feel like I’ve fleshed out the characters backgrounds enough and I don’t even have an ending- I’m toying with the idea of carrying his alignment true to the end and having him take over the kingdom but I also don’t want to do anything too cliche.
Also, I WAS going to make this a home brew where I DM as a surprise but I watched this DM on youtube and the amount of improvising on the spot?! I could never. Props to ALL you DM’s out there, seriously. So my home brew has been turned into a book which I hope isn’t as difficult as the original plan.
Any tips or advice or ideas would be super helpful! Also please cross your fingers that my husband doesn’t see this!

Context: Last two months ago kinausap ako ng HR namin about some of my posts in my personal FB timeline. I was mostly posting some views about international politics na hindi naman toxic or whatever but some friendly banter with other people I know, but I was just stating some of my opinions on whats happening globally especially on what's happening in Europe. Sinabihan ako to be careful what I post because I represent the company and etc.
When I first started working sa company, HR required us to join our company's FB group and add one of the HR people as a friend. This was mandatory. I immediately saw this as a red flag, so I did not give them my personal FB account. I have an alternate FB account that I use for co-workers and other acquaintances who are not close friends. I also did not use my real name on this account. At first nagtaka sila bakit "alias" ginagamit ko sa FB account na to and I told them I have a right not to divulge my real FB account because I made it a point that my real FB account will only be for Family and very close friends. They allowed it reluctantly.
So anyway, does HR have a right to do this? Tell you what you can't post on your own FB timeline? Lol. Ever since then ginagawa ko na lang when I make a post I exclude all officemates and the the HR from the company using the FB feature when you make a post "All friends except..."
Anyone with the same experience?

I’m an out of town traveler. Tourist. We came here during the week to avoid the crowds.
I’m wondering from the locals and others experienced if there is general etiquette in the park at the monuments? I noticed in the cemetery there are signs asking for silence and respect (that’s not the correct wording, I just can’t recall it at this moment).
We went to the PA monument yesterday. Drove by it at first because 2 buses were there. Wanted to go search for 2 ancestral names. Came back when it was quiet. Only a few others. A bus came in with a Battlefield Guide (in uniform), who stayed at the bus while 40+ adults and children wreaked havoc. Beyond disruptive…they were spitting from the top of the tower onto people below, barging into others, yelling, screaming, etc.
I’m not that old...I’d like not to think of myself as a “Karen” yet. I found it pretty upsetting, but ignored it. They were off within 15 mins. One woman said something to an adult with the group about how disrespectful they were.
This is my second time here and I don’t think it was a normal experience. But it definitely turned me off into coming back. Perhaps my disdain came from a place of concentration of searching for names of my family.
