Ok, very long backstory but I'll keep it to the basics. I (37yo US male) am ending a 13 yr marriage w/ a 35yo German female (raise in the US since she was 5yo). It's mutual and we're both already feeling better than when we were together. We have one 7yo daughter. Marriage has always been rocky but we've managed through counseling, determination, and chemistry (when it was good it was good). Now we both see it was always toxic. We moved to Germany from the US 11 months ago, after deciding to pursue a European lifestyle and enrolling our daughter in a Waldorf Kindergarten (very cheap here). 7 months in and we've decided marriage is definitely over. I've moved out and been living in a separate apartment. We share 50/50 custody of daughter. Overall good transition, lots of pain but it's working and I'm healing.
So the issue is, I feel we should move back to the US. ALL of our family lives there in a 3 hour radius of North Carolina. Our daughter was born and raised seeing her grandparents weekly until 11months ago. Our daughter has only one cousin who she adores and talks about all the time who lives in NC. We own a home there. I am the primary earner and could be earning over 100K per year by next year ( I was up until we moved). I have no job in Germany yet since my career field required a high level of German and I would need to spend years learning while working low wage jobs. Our daughter does not like Waldorf style and wants more STEM education. My ex works for 15 Euros/ hour and has no prospects of earning more than 20/hr within the next 3-5 years. I desperately want to get back to my career (my passion) but I believe my German ex wants to stay here despite numerous reasons to go back. She began sleeping with/dating someone on Tinder 45 days after we decided to end our relationship- 18 days after I moved out. They are still dating. I believe she is moving quickly to establish her new life here w/o me. Which she has every right, but still, It's concerning.
Nevertheless, I am starting to think I need to move back, w/ or w/o them. This is not my country, my language, and I do not picture myself here, especially with all the healing I need to do after divorce. Family, career, healing are the things I need now or else I feel I will lose myself in this German town, my ex's mother's hometown, (voted ugliest town in Germany) while watching my wife flourish in her native country (again, she grew up in the US). I have a history of depression. I don't want to meet another international partner. My daughter talks about her old school, her grandparents, her old best friends, wanting "English things" ---ALL THE TIME. I will likely live very near my extended family and daughter would be able to see them all the time if we went back. Even my ex's parents (retired and live on lakes/beaches) want to see us back in the US ( I still care about them very much). My daughter would have a blast visiting them. But my wife won't see it. She believes the lifestyle in Germany is better, safer, less traumatic, less violent, less capitalistic (I agree, somewhat) and that that is more important than money, family, stability (completely disagree).
So... If I move back, Is it manipulative to tell my daughter that "I wish I could stay but I have to go work in the USA to make money to support her and her mother. AND that I wish she could come but her mother wants her to stay and go to school here in Germany"....? I don't want to lie and say I wish I could stay or that I also think she should stay. And I don't want to be too vague like "It's hard but it's what's best for everyone" even though that sounds the most neutral. What does a 7yo need to hear in such a complex situation? Should she even know if I end up moving to the same town as her friends/cousin? It all just seems to have the potential to be so traumatic for her. Everything she ever knew changed one year ago with our move, then 8 months later we tell her we are divorcing, now I will probably tell her I have to move back. What the hell do I do?

I am getting my life back. I am able to do things I haven’t done in years. Not looking for any affirmation but to confirm what everyone here knows, this medicine is a game changer. I struggled for the past 15 years to lose weight. Zero excuses. I should have done better. Mounjaro is giving me a chance to undo all my bad habits. I am doing it for my family and my health.

Yes, every series imaginable. No chance I will ever be able to distribute this.
The card game involves making teams of five and battling them against each other. Then, their stats will contest against one another and determine who wins. The five stats are Red (physical power), Blue (mental power), Yellow (speed/agility/versatility), Green (durability/resilience), Purple (Style points/the rizz). Each one ranges from 1-99. Most One Piece character stats should be pretty easy to determine, so don't worry about them much. Elite cards have all stats set to max, but very few Elites exist within all sets. Any overpowered card won't be a big deal since it will be gone the next round.
Each character has an Ability (activated when played) and a Quirk (passive ability). These will affect stats, who's fighting who, and even limit what the opponent can play. The rules are a little more complicated, right now I'm trying to figure out ability names and who to include.
Individual match ups are called bouts, and some cards can give instant wins, such as Franky's Quirk: The Franky Dance. If the player gets up and does the entire Franky Dance, Franky automatically wins.
Any humor, meme, or the like is 100% cool. Whitebeard's ability is called The One Piece Is Real, haven't decided what it does yet though.
I'll explain a few cards that are already done, so you all have a good idea of what the cards can do.
Robin Ability: Clutch: If the opponent is male, halve their Red Quirk: Archaeologist: If Robin wins her bout, retrieve a card from the discard pile
Sanji Ability: Diable Jambe: If the opponent has Green higher than 50, boost Sanji's Red and Yellow by +20 Quirk: Chivalry: If opponent is female, Sanji immediately loses his bout
Luffy Ability: Kaizoku ou ni, ore wa naru!: If you scream, "I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!", add +15 to Luffy's Purple Quirk: Nakama!: For every One Piece character in play, Luffy gets +5 to all stats
Law Ability: Room Shambles: Swap an opponent card for one of your own cards Quirk: Surgeon of Death: If any of Law's stats change, increase another card's Green by +25
And the like.
The only ones I have complete are the Straw Hat Pirates, Law, Ace, Kid, Sabo, and Roger. Everyone else is incomplete. Of course, I want to include a ton of characters, but a limit on myself is 5 sheets per series. 1 sheet is 18 cards, so 90 cards total. There's a lot of easy ones, like the Yonko, Supernovas, Marines, and legends like Rayleigh or Oden will be included, but who would you all like to add, and what abilities should they have? I'd love to hear your ideas.
Also no spoilers please. I'm caught up but some of my friends aren't.

I started a bulk in December , 200-300kcal surplus , weight has changed from 63kg-67.5kg since December .
I eat 150g protein a day ( track it using the nutritional info on the box and a food scale )
I mainly eat healthily but do have an unhealthy snack at the end of the week and when I go out .
My split is :
•legs •pull •push •rest •pull •rest •push
I train to absolute failure on every set (in the 8-12 rep range) and do 15 sets for each muscle group a week .
I have gotten stronger since starting the bulk but my strength progress has plateaued in the last 3 weeks .
I have been training for around 2 years but a lot of that time was me trying to loose weight ,as I was quite fat , I feel like all the weight I’ve gained is fat and not muscle but don’t know what I’m doing wrong ?

I am a 27 year old male with bad sleep apnea. Have been dealing with this since October 2021 and still grinding. I want to take this opportunity to just tell my story and vent so some of you can hopefully relate and know that there’s people out there dealing with the same thing.
So! During the pandemic I spent my entire time lifting weights and eating food. ALOT OF FOOD. I was blindsided by the fact that I had become this big strong individual that was benching 400lbs, and squatting 600 like it was a piece of paper. Eventually, when I got up to around 290 lbs, that’s when things took a turn for the worst.
I Remeber just one night not being able to go to sleep. Kinda weird. So I brushed it off as maybe I was stressed or stayed up late watching TV. whatever right? Anyways, that continued and continued for a few months until I finally got a sleep study and it was confirmed that I had sleep apnea. I was prescribed a CPAP machine, however, due to the CPAP recall of 2022 I would have to wait MONTHS to get my machine and there was nothing I could do but wait. Literally.
By the blessing of god, my boss had told me to get a mandibular advancement device to move my lower jaw forward to create more airspace and guess what, IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM! I still Remeber the first morning waking up with it on just feeling like I had slept and stretched into the day. So, I started using that device routinely while I lost weight.
Eventually, I got to 250LBS and was sleeping like a normal person. No mouthguard needed, would just get home and crash. I almost forgot that I was waiting for my CPAP machine but then things took a turn for the worst.
October of 2022 I started having sleeping issues again! Horrible sleep apnea, waking up every hour, massive migraines, just brutal, still is. Around this time is when I finally got my CPAP machine and I thought “yes, finally a good nights rest.” Used it, and nothing. Woke up like if I didn’t have a mask on. Kept trying and trying and still, no relief. Eventually I went to go see an ENT and they suggested I have a septoplasty due to a deviated septum and that could be why my CPAP therapy wasn’t effective.
Had the surgery, still , no relief, no sleep. I’m at my whits end.
My own sleep doctor keeps sending me on my merry way when I’ve been telling him for months that CPAP isn’t helping and that I may need surgeical intervention and after months of pointless appointments I fu ally have an appoint with a maxillofacial surgeon to see if that will fix my issue but I’m a bit concerned it won’t.
If this MMA surgery doesn’t work, im screwed. I can feel my body breaking down at an alarming rate. Heart palpitations, chest pain, massive migraines, hair loss due to stress, NO SLEEP, it been horrible.
I’ve had to drop out of school, can barely show up to work, I rarely exercise anymore, and only eat around 1500 calories a day because I’m scared shitless of gaining any unwanted weight that would make my sleep apnea worse.
I used to be so ALIVE and HAPPY. Now im in bed 15 hours a day, depressed, inactive, smoke tons of weed to escape my reality, it’s just been a big mess and I don’t understand “why me?”
It feels like my life has been robbed and I’m stuck with no ability to grow as a person, let alone enjoy life.
Whenever my Heart hurts im now hoping it’s a heart attack just to end my miserable life so I can answer to god.
I am at peace knowing that I’ve been a good person to other people and have always tried my best to help others. That’s all I can do.
If one day my sleep apnea gets fixed, I will change my life for the better as this entire experience has showed me just how precious life is and all the opportunities that life has to be taken advantage of. TIME is so precious that if I had the opportunity to do anything I wanted, I wouldn’t waste not even A SECOND.
I’m 225lbs right now but don’t k ow how much more weight I can lose as I don’t think it’s a weight issue now.

A: no, I currently own two 50 lbs rescues
2) Do you have a preference for rescuing a dog vs. going through a reputable breeder?
A: I prefer to buy from an ethical breeder.
3) Describe your ideal dog.
A: alert of their surroundings (alert barks to strangers on the property), affectionate and cuddly with me, indifferent towards strangers, able to catch onto training quickly, food motivated, enjoys playing tug and fetch, up for anything from couch cuddles to nature walks, patient with indoor cats, neutral towards other dogs. Prefers dogs that are intimidating looking as we live in a sketchy neighborhood and my current rescue gives me scary dog privilege to walk at night.
4) What breeds or types of dogs are you interested in and why?
A: im not sure yet, I like the look of Dobermans, cane corso, bullmastiffs, giant breeds are cool but idk if they fit.
5) What sorts of things would you like to train your dog to do?
A: we would attend puppy classes together. I would also like to obtain a Canine Good Citizen Advanced and advanced trick dog title/award. In addition, I plan on task training for at home service work (not public access so a breed that isnt known for service work isn’t a deal breaker. I just plan on teaching the dog tasks to help me out with my BPD/PTSD at home). Teach basic commands, loose leash walking, following a lure, muzzle conditioning, and cooperative care. And whatever else may be needed.
6) Do you want to compete with your dog in a sport (e.g. agility, obedience, rally) or use your dog for a form of work (e.g. hunting, herding, livestock guarding)? If so, how much experience do you have with this work/sport?
A: although I’m new to sports, I would like to try fastcat.
Care Commitments 7) How long do you want to devote to training, playing with, or otherwise interacting with your dog each day?
A: im a stay at home “dog mom” so I have ample time
8) How long can you exercise your dog each day, on average? What sorts of exercise are you planning to give your dog regularly and does that include using a dog park?
A: about 1-1.5 hrs daily. Two 30 minute walks, swimming, fully fenced in backyard fetch, seasonal hikes- it just depends on how I’m feeling. I do not plan on going to the dog park as I don’t think they’re safe (my dog was attacked at one).
9) How much regular brushing are you willing to do? Are you open to trimming hair, cleaning ears, or doing other grooming at home? If not, would you be willing to pay a professional to do it regularly?
A: I would say a few minutes every week or so with a rubber curry brush (that’s what I do for my current dog), but prefer no trimming or professional grooming. Ok with baths when they get smelly and nail trims and ear cleaning, just no dogs that require haircuts.
Personal Preferences 10) What size dog are you looking for?
A: my ideal size would be 70 lbs, but I would prefer to go up in weight than to own a small dog. Just not my vibe. The biggest dog id own would be like 130lbs ish
11) How much shedding, barking, and slobber can you handle?
A: my short haired dog sheds in the spring and fall and is pretty much lower shedding in between and that what I want at most. I don’t want a heavy shedding dog please (that includes labs, goldens, huskies, gsd, any thick coated double coated breed). Barking when play and when there’s a stranger on the property is fine, but not a dog that barks at anything (no overly vocal high pitched barkers, I prefer deep barks). Slobber when eating and when being baited with treats is ok, but I don’t really want to have a dog that will shake and paint my walls with slobber.
12) How important is being able to let your dog off-leash in an unfenced area?
A: not the biggest priority, my current dog can’t be off leash and it’s not the end of the world. We walk on leashes and have a fully fenced in yard
Dog Personality and Behavior 13) Do you want a snuggly dog or one that prefers some personal space?
A: snuggle bug for sure, my current dog curls up next to me in bed and I love it.
14) Would you prefer a dog that wants to do its own thing or one that’s more eager-to-please?

A: barking until I tell them to stop (current dog barks to strangers walking by and I don’t mind it, but he won’t bark at everyone-just things in the yard. He doesn’t bark at the neighbors across the street for example). I want my dog to ignore strangers ideally, and focus on me. Dogs that want to be everyone’s bff turn me off, I prefer loyalty.
16) Are you willing to manage a dog that is aggressive to other dogs?
A: I will if it’s the right breed, my male is ssa and we muzzle train and crate train. This will be the only dog in the house when we bring it home (with the exception of 3 indoor cats). But I prefer dogs that aren’t aggressive.
17) Are there any other behaviors you can’t deal with or want to avoid?
A: aggression towards me, stubbornness, heavy vocality, reactivity, chasing our cats.
Lifestyle 18) How often and how long will the dog be left alone?
A: probably just a few hours if I went to run an errand, but even that’s not every day. I’m home pretty much 24/7 (unless I’m out waking).

2023.06.03 22:11 Boring-Charge My(22 ftm) father (60~ish) wants to hang out now that I’m an adult, how do I get him to understand I don’t want a relationship with him?
My father didn’t want children, anecdotes from both sides of the family along with things he has said confirm this.
He explicitly told me that part of why he “wanted” (I use this word very loosely) a child, was because his older sister kept having complications that led to miscarriages, and he, as the only male, felt he had a lesser relationship with his mother, and that his having a child might somehow fix that.
I figured he didn’t want children when I was about 10 or so, and when I learned about my aunt’s history, I thought that his and her heavy handed attempts at having a relationship with me were subconscious, not intentional.
We never had a good/stable relationship. When my parents were separated (from when I was 3-7) he would randomly show up in the late evening to “hang out”, which was really him taking me for idk how long, leaving me in his old ford pickup with a broken ignition that meant it could start without a key, and work in his garage while I stayed in the truck for what could’ve been an hour or two next to active train tracks in the dark.
At the time I thought this was cool, because I was a small child who had no real concept of anything.
My parents finally divorced when I was seven and he was court mandated to see me MWF with alternating weekends and holidays, I began to hate him, because I actually had to spend regular time with him and he had the emotional intelligence and tact of a dead turnip.
He would regularly leave me alone in his apartment, or the apartment of whatever woman he convicted he was worth her time, sometimes with her there, most of the time not, with no vetting or warning to my mother. On several separate occasions he gave me an extreme laxative for the intention of me losing weight, when I got in a fight with his then girlfriend’s daughter he told me to punch first and harder next time, my nose was tender for the following week. When I was still in elementary he said that the only reason he didn’t hit me was because he’s dark skinned,(my mother is white) and I look, most people guess Cuban or Chinese depending on how much sun I’ve been getting. Idk if he knows I heard this or not, or if he even remembers tbh.
I didn’t tell my mother most of this until recently, I know it was in part compartmentalization. And because she didn’t know, she constantly tried to get me to have a relationship with him, due to her own issues with her own father
I knew he had to see me MWF but only recently learned about the alternating weekends and holidays, as I have absolutely no recollection of him keeping me for the weekend.

He didn’t get my birthday right for at least 18yrs, and idk if he checked because I would legally be an adult that year or it was happenstance.
We didn’t speak for months before that, he texted a few times, I didn’t respond. Not until he showed up at the house after leaving a voicemail that he claimed me a missing person.
He has told me point blank that now that I’m an adult he wants to have a relationship with me, and can’t seem to grasp why I don’t want one with him.
TL;DR my father who I have gone Low Contact with wants a relationship now that I’m an adult and he is no longer required to “be a parent” I don’t want him in my life because he abused me mentally and emotionally (I even called him a glorified sperm donor to his face) how do I get him to take the hint?

He explicitly told me that part of why he “wanted” (I use this word very loosely) a child, was because his older sister kept having complications that led to miscarriages, and he, as the only male, felt he had a lesser relationship with his mother, and that his having a child might somehow fix that.
I figured he didn’t want children when I was about 10 or so, and when I learned about my aunt’s history, I thought that his and her heavy handed attempts at having a relationship with me were subconscious, not intentional.
We never had a good/stable relationship. When my parents were separated (from when I was 3-7) he would randomly show up in the late evening to “hang out”, which was really him taking me for idk how long, leaving me in his old ford pickup with a broken ignition that meant it could start without a key, and work in his garage while I stayed in the truck for what could’ve been an hour or two next to active train tracks in the dark.
At the time I thought this was cool, because I was a small child who had no real concept of anything.
My parents finally divorced when I was seven and he was court mandated to see me MWF with alternating weekends and holidays, I began to hate him, because I actually had to spend regular time with him and he had the emotional intelligence and tact of a dead turnip.
He would regularly leave me alone in his apartment, or the apartment of whatever woman he convicted he was worth her time, sometimes with her there, most of the time not, with no vetting or warning to my mother. On several separate occasions he gave me an extreme laxative for the intention of me losing weight, when I got in a fight with his then girlfriend’s daughter he told me to punch first and harder next time, my nose was tender for the following week. When I was still in elementary he said that the only reason he didn’t hit me was because he’s dark skinned,(my mother is white) and I look, most people guess Cuban or Chinese depending on how much sun I’ve been getting. Idk if he knows I heard this or not, or if he even remembers tbh.
I didn’t tell my mother most of this until recently, I know it was in part compartmentalization. And because she didn’t know, she constantly tried to get me to have a relationship with him, due to her own issues with her own father

- Total budget: £800 I think in the UK.
- No refurbs/used. Not sure if that makes the budget unreasonable.
- Nuild quality and battery life are very important. It will be used when travelling quite a lot. Performance and memory would also be great although I don't think there is anything hugely intensive usage wise.
- Weight and thinness is a nicety for travel but not a major priority.
- Min screen size of 15", 17" would be nice.
- Some minor video/photo editing. Only mobile gaming. Not sure about any specific software but nothing widely intensive although that is mainly because I haven't had the specs so far to do it. Drawing applications with a pen would be nice to have.
- Touch-screen would be useful for a pen and drawing applications but not essential. Sturdy keyboard/touchpad.
- Good WiFi. Ethernet port would be useful although if only USB an adapter could be bought. Will also be used for non-technical types a kid so needs to be able to be handled by those that don't care about its value.

Seriously, Whoop wants me to sleep 11 hours tonight? Whoop’s Sleep metrics and recommendation are killing me. It consistently tells me I’m a terrible sleeper (implied - I sense an attitude with these metrics / recommendations). My sleep recommendations are consistently 9.5 hours, which I’ll never hit. Admittedly, I am a terrible sleeper, but Whoop’s sleep data is always lower than my Garmin watch and my Sleep Number bed (yes, this is a stupid amount of data - I know). And, consistently being told I had a bad night sleep and need an unreasonable amd unattainable amount of sleep the next night is creating sleep anxiety.

This is primarily targeted towards newer players, who may not know some of the ways of getting crystals, but may be useful to older players as well(probably not). I will list every source of crystals earnable in-game categorized into major and minor categories. If I miss anything, please comment.
The story stages give crystals in 2 ways. Firstly, you can earn 15 crystals per stage by completing all 3 challenges shown prior to entering the stage, and are usually pretty easy. Secondly, each chapter divides the stages into multiple sections, with extra rewards based on how many total stars(challenges completed) you got in that section. If you complete all the challenges, you will get extra crystals, usually 30 crystals. While the number may seem small on it's own, it adds up to quite a high amount in the end. Naturally, this is only a one time thing. This also includes doing Expeditions for the first time.
Chronicles also fall into this category, but they differ in the fact that after completing all of the stages, a challenge mode is unlocked where you can earn even more crystals.
2) ACHIEVEMENTS
This is only applicable for new players, as you'll be unlocking a ton of achievements for doing pretty much anything. The amount you get overall is very high compared to the more consistent sources of crystals like abyss, but this is also a one time thing.
3) ELYSIAN REALM
This is your most accessible and largest on-demand supply of crystals(besides your credit card ofc). However the amount of crystals you can earn entirely depends on how many characters you have unlocked that are actually in Elysian Realm. For every character you have in ER, you can earn 600 crystals, by completing Shallow Sequence with them, and leveling them to level 15(although this takes some time).
You can also get crystals by collecting signets for the first time. For collecting all 5 Elysia signets for a character, you can get 20 crystals. Collecting all the general signets for a flame-chaser will get you 20 crystals, and collecting all their enhanced signets will get you 50 crystals.
When upgrading remembrance vessels, you will unlock recollection logs. Each log you click on will get you 10 crystals, totaling to 1430 crystals.
Additionally, you can earn up to 500 crystals per week if you can get 18,000 score on Deep Sequence, however this will be difficult for new players without proper gear and understanding of ER.
4) ABYSS (Q-Manifold/Dirac Sea/Q-Singularis/Superstring Dimension)
This is your largest, infinite source of crystals. The amount of crystals you earn will depend on both your player level and performance. There are 4 brackets of abyss, determined by your level: 1. Beginners (25-55) 2. Elite (56-69) 3. Masters (70-80) 4. Exalted(81+)
Additionally, there are 4 brackets of rankings, determined by your performance: (This is for Exalted) 1. Sin 1, Sin 2, Sin 3 (190-220 crystals) 2. Agony 1, Agony 2, Agony 3 (280 - 420 crystals) 3. Redlotus (500 crystals) 4. Nirvana(hell) (520 crystals) There is also Forbidden, which is below Sin 1 and exclusive to Exalted Abyss(Superstring Dimension), but you'll never be there unless you stop playing the game.
I have no way of checking the crystals for brackets below Exalted, so I cannot list the crystal values for each. However, after getting multiple teams built fairly decently(which will take a long time for F2P but very achievable), you can expect to remain in Agony 3 and promote to Redlotus every once in a while, averaging 420 crystals per cycle(3 days). May you never enter Nirvana.
5) EVENTS
Events are very frequent in Honkai, and offer very valuable rewards. Crystals aren't usually as valuable as the other rewards they offer, but the majority of the time you'll be able to buy every item in the event shop if you play the whole thing. Events usually award up to 500 crystals, but the amount varies greatly.
6) OPEN WORLD MISSIONS (Sakura Samsara, Schicksal HQ, A Post Honkey Odyssey 1 & 2)
Every week you can gain access to 1 open world, however some of them only unlock at certain levels, and when you reach that level, the corresponding open world will unlock automatically for 2 weeks. Which means you may end up with 3 open worlds open at the same time, which will absolutely drain your stamina if you try to take up tasks for all of them. By playing through the open world story and completing missions, you will earn a hefty sum of crystals.
Additionally, for A Post Honkai Odyssey 1 & 2, you will gain access to a special supply costing special currency(keys) that you can pull crystal boxes from(you are guaranteed every reward from the supply eventually).
7) SENSEI/CADET SYSTEM
Honkai has a mentorship system, where high level players can help out newer players and both can earn rewards. To find a sensei, go on the Friends tab on the bottom left, and then the Sensei tab on the right. There are 10 phases of rewards a cadet can earn for doing different things, totaling to 1740 crystals and 10 dorm supply cards.
8) CODES AND NEW PATCHES
Every new patch, we get a code that gives 200 crystals and an additional 600 crystals as compensation for maintenance time. You can join Honkai's official Discord for codes.
9) RETURNEE EVENT
If you haven't logged in for 45+ days, you will trigger the returnee system, and the next time you login you will get a returnee event. It gives a very large amount of both crystals and useful resources. Can't give a number on how much crystals exactly, but it's alot.
Earning 600 BP will net you 40 crystals per day, and while little compared to the major sources, it is essential you get this every day. Additionally, the "Weekly Share' mission will give you an extra 30 crystals per week.
2) BATTLE PASS
The Free BP will get you 540 crystals, and you will level up your BP gradually just by playing the game normally. While 540 crystals is a large amount, that 540 will trickle in very slowly over the course of 3 versions(roughly 120 days).
3) MEMORIAL ARENA
This only applies to Exalted(Lvl 81+), as only then are SSS bosses unlocked. Every week, you can challenge 3 bosses, 2 of which will be SSS. If you manage to achieve at least 38400 score on a SSS boss, you will get 20 crystals, totaling to 40 crystals per week for both. Additionally, you will get 100 crystals per week for beating at least 8 stages(which Arena Lite will probably cover on its own anyways). As a new player, it will be very difficult to do this, as you probably won't have the teams required for every boss and won't have good gear. However, achieving this once you get some teams fairly well built is very easy if you utilize Buffed Mode.
4) ADVENTURE TASKS
Very rarely, when selecting your adventure tasks, you may get a task that awards 25 crystals. You should try to use all 15 refreshes when choosing your 5 tasks to maximize your chance of getting the crystal tasks.
5) DORM ERRANDS
Rarely when running your Dorm Errands(although much more often than adventure tasks), you may see an S+ task appear, which gives 40 crystals. Sometimes you may not have the requirements to actually do the errand, in which case you can use your 1 daily refresh and hope for the best.
6) ARMADA WEEKLY REWARDS
Every week you will get 25 crystals from your armada, provided they reach the weekly requirement for such(which should always happen anyways). You also get 60 crystals for joining an armada for the first time.
7) CHARACTER TRIALS
If you go on the challenges tab(where you will see Abyss, MA, Mirage and ER), there's a blue arrow on the right. Press that and you will see the character trials. While these trials don't actually award any crystals, they award 1 FOCA card for completing the boss stage. Unfortunately most of the valkyries here are outdated and you are unlikely to even have most of them. If you do though, you can try to complete the boss stage for that 1 card. Do note, some boss stages are very difficult.
(I went on a new lvl 34 account and didn't see this for some reason, not sure if it unlocks at a certain level or something else)
8) TACTICS CLASS
When a new character releases, a tutorial for them will release as well. Completing all stages will get you 60 crystals. Tactics class can be found in the Event tab(in the Attack section, not the button on the left of the home screen). Additionally, if you click on the Mechanics tab on the top right, you will actually see a bunch of gameplay mechanic tutorials that can net you 15 crystals each.
9) DAILY CHECK IN
In case you didn't know, you can open this webpage everyday to get a small reward. Gives 50 crystals per month. Additionally, there are daily sign in rewards in-game, which total to 400 crystals and 1 dorm supply card every month.
10) BIRTHDAYS
Whenever it's a character's birthday, they will send you an in-game mail with a cake and 120 crystals. If I recall correctly, you also get 100 crystals on your own birthday.
11) COLLECTIONS
If you press your phone in the bottom right, you will see a "Collection" button. If you click on whoever is on the left, you will see the rewards for each score milestone, totaling to 1020 crystals, although it will take a very long to time get all of that. By acquiring more items in-game, you will increase your collection score. A good way to get more score is to craft dorm furniture and play story to unlock cutscenes.

Additionally, for A Post Honkai Odyssey 1 & 2, you will gain access to a special supply costing special currency(keys) that you can pull crystal boxes from(you are guaranteed every reward from the supply eventually).
7) SENSEI/CADET SYSTEM
Honkai has a mentorship system, where high level players can help out newer players and both can earn rewards. To find a sensei, go on the Friends tab on the bottom left, and then the Sensei tab on the right. There are 10 phases of rewards a cadet can earn for doing different things, totaling to 1740 crystals and 10 dorm supply cards.
8) CODES AND NEW PATCHES
Every new patch, we get a code that gives 200 crystals and an additional 600 crystals as compensation for maintenance time. You can join Honkai's official Discord for codes.
9) RETURNEE EVENT
If you haven't logged in for 45+ days, you will trigger the returnee system, and the next time you login you will get a returnee event. It gives a very large amount of both crystals and useful resources. Can't give a number on how much crystals exactly, but it's alot.

Additionally, you will get 100 crystals per week for beating at least 8 stages(which Arena Lite will probably cover on its own anyways). As a new player, it will be very difficult to do this, as you probably won't have the teams required for every boss and won't have good gear. However, achieving this once you get some teams fairly well built is very easy if you utilize Buffed Mode.
4) ADVENTURE TASKS
Very rarely, when selecting your adventure tasks, you may get a task that awards 25 crystals. You should try to use all 15 refreshes when choosing your 5 tasks to maximize your chance of getting the crystal tasks.
5) DORM ERRANDS
Rarely when running your Dorm Errands(although much more often than adventure tasks), you may see an S+ task appear, which gives 40 crystals. Sometimes you may not have the requirements to actually do the errand, in which case you can use your 1 daily refresh and hope for the best.
6) ARMADA WEEKLY REWARDS
Every week you will get 25 crystals from your armada, provided they reach the weekly requirement for such(which should always happen anyways). You also get 60 crystals for joining an armada for the first time.
7) CHARACTER TRIALS
If you go on the challenges tab(where you will see Abyss, MA, Mirage and ER), there's a blue arrow on the right. Press that and you will see the character trials. While these trials don't actually award any crystals, they award 1 FOCA card for completing the boss stage. Unfortunately most of the valkyries here are outdated and you are unlikely to even have most of them. If you do though, you can try to complete the boss stage for that 1 card. Do note, some boss stages are very difficult.
(I went on a new lvl 34 account and didn't see this for some reason, not sure if it unlocks at a certain level or something else)
8) TACTICS CLASS
When a new character releases, a tutorial for them will release as well. Completing all stages will get you 60 crystals. Tactics class can be found in the Event tab(in the Attack section, not the button on the left of the home screen). Additionally, if you click on the Mechanics tab on the top right, you will actually see a bunch of gameplay mechanic tutorials that can net you 15 crystals each.
9) DAILY CHECK IN
In case you didn't know, you can open this webpage everyday to get a small reward. Gives 50 crystals per month. Additionally, there are daily sign in rewards in-game, which total to 400 crystals and 1 dorm supply card every month.
10) BIRTHDAYS
Whenever it's a character's birthday, they will send you an in-game mail with a cake and 120 crystals. If I recall correctly, you also get 100 crystals on your own birthday.
11) COLLECTIONS
If you press your phone in the bottom right, you will see a "Collection" button. If you click on whoever is on the left, you will see the rewards for each score milestone, totaling to 1020 crystals, although it will take a very long to time get all of that. By acquiring more items in-game, you will increase your collection score. A good way to get more score is to craft dorm furniture and play story to unlock cutscenes.

Hey all! Just hit 4 months and sleep trained with extinction (started with Ferber but he hated watching us leave). Also dropped the paci cold turkey because it was harming more than helping.
At first was averaging 11.5-12 hours sleep at most because of the delayed bedtime from crying (we were waking at 7:30am to reinforce his day schedule) but now he’s got it down to 15-20min at bedtime and gets 13 hours a night. He feeds 3x in those 13 hours which I’m okay with for now. Despite this good sleep, we’re still having to wake him at 7:30 every morning, where he used to be up like clockwork at 7 sharp. Naps (also independent/extinction) are shortening too, I assume in response to the increased night sleep. Wondering if we may be on the cusp of the 4-3 nap transition if he keeps up this 13 hour night. We do 1.25/1.5/1.5/1.5/1.75 currently (so 7.5 hours wake time). Anyone have thoughts?

My dad is nuts. He tells me that I’m 20 and need to have work experience by now and that I should be applying for jobs, which is exactly what I’m doing. I signed up for Indeed and applied for jobs through there and then he tells me that “you’re going overboard & exposing your information too soon” he then tells me that I can only work during the summer at a mall clothing store retail job and I am not allowed to apply for on campus jobs because “It’ll distract you from your studies.” The problem with the mall clothing store retail jobs is that most of them require prior work experience, and I sent in many job applications for those retail jobs like 3 weeks ago and haven’t heard back from them. At this point if I continue to listen to what my dad says I’ll never even get an interview. The fast food places don’t require prior work experience. I applied to one and they wanted to schedule an interview with me right away. However my parents tell me to “hold off on that” and “it’s dangerous and the fast food place can be robbed, it’s not the best place for a college student to work”. I think this is complete bullshit. High school students work there and nothing bad happens to the majority of them. They gain work experience so they can apply to higher level jobs. I told my dad that I have no work experience and the mall clothing store retail jobs most likely won’t even interview me, and then he says “everything will be fine, don’t worry.” First he wants me to apply for jobs and get interview + work experience, now when I get an opportunity to schedule an interview, then he suddenly doesn’t want me to do it anymore. I think he is secretly trying to tighten his grip on me so he can’t lose control of me. That’s why he’s so paranoid about me getting a job, he really doesn’t want me to earn my own money and escape his control. He calls this “love and protection” but it’s financial abuse. For some reason my dad always has to be in control of my life and for my jobs it’s really either his way or the highway, even if his way means I won’t be able to get an interview at all. Another thing is my dad always tells me he hates liars and likes direct communication, but he gave me silent treatment once when I didn’t do what he wanted, and I think he’s lying about some of his intentions, using “love and I want what’s best for you.” as a smokescreen. He also gaslights me. Like he is overly controlling about my weight and diet (I admit I’m 15 pounds overweight, but overall I’m healthy). He even forced me to When I tell him that what he is doing is inappropriate and I try to set this boundary with him, he then gets all defensive and tells me “I’m just trying to help you, you’re obese.” First of all I never asked for his help with weight loss and diet. He did this same thing when I had acne as a 12-15 year old. He “helped me” by forcing me to go on an unnecessary harsh diet and popped my pimples every single day. I told him that I hated this and wanted him to stop, he didn’t listen and says “you’ll thank me for this later.” Now I’m 19 going on 20 and I’m not thanking him at all in fact I regret I didn’t rebel more against him. I have clear skin but that’s only because the dermatologist prescribed me a medication that actually helped with my acne. None of what my dad did helped me at all. I absolutely cannot wait to graduate college in 2 years and move far far away from my lunatic dad and go NC with him.

This is primarily targeted towards newer players, who may not know some of the ways of getting crystals, but may be useful to older players as well(probably not). I will list every source of crystals earnable in-game categorized into major and minor categories. If I miss anything, please comment.
The story stages give crystals in 2 ways. Firstly, you can earn 15 crystals per stage by completing all 3 challenges shown prior to entering the stage, and are usually pretty easy. Secondly, each chapter divides the stages into multiple sections, with extra rewards based on how many total stars(challenges completed) you got in that section. If you complete all the challenges, you will get extra crystals, usually 30 crystals. While the number may seem small on it's own, it adds up to quite a high amount in the end. Naturally, this is only a one time thing. This also includes doing Expeditions for the first time.
Chronicles also fall into this category, but they differ in the fact that after completing all of the stages, a challenge mode is unlocked where you can earn even more crystals.
2) ACHIEVEMENTS
This is only applicable for new players, as you'll be unlocking a ton of achievements for doing pretty much anything. The amount you get overall is very high compared to the more consistent sources of crystals like abyss, but this is also a one time thing.
3) ELYSIAN REALM
This is your most accessible and largest on-demand supply of crystals(besides your credit card ofc). However the amount of crystals you can earn entirely depends on how many characters you have unlocked that are actually in Elysian Realm. For every character you have in ER, you can earn 600 crystals, by completing Shallow Sequence with them, and leveling them to level 15(although this takes some time).
You can also get crystals by collecting signets for the first time. For collecting all 5 Elysia signets for a character, you can get 20 crystals. Collecting all the general signets for a flame-chaser will get you 20 crystals, and collecting all their enhanced signets will get you 50 crystals.
When upgrading remembrance vessels, you will unlock recollection logs. Each log you click on will get you 10 crystals, totaling to 1430 crystals.
Additionally, you can earn up to 500 crystals per week if you can get 18,000 score on Deep Sequence, however this will be difficult for new players without proper gear and understanding of ER.
4) ABYSS (Q-Manifold/Dirac Sea/Q-Singularis/Superstring Dimension)
This is your largest, infinite source of crystals. The amount of crystals you earn will depend on both your player level and performance. There are 4 brackets of abyss, determined by your level: 1. Beginners (25-55) 2. Elite (56-69) 3. Masters (70-80) 4. Exalted(81+)
Additionally, there are 4 brackets of rankings, determined by your performance: (This is for Exalted) 1. Sin 1, Sin 2, Sin 3 (190-220 crystals) 2. Agony 1, Agony 2, Agony 3 (280 - 420 crystals) 3. Redlotus (500 crystals) 4. Nirvana(hell) (520 crystals) There is also Forbidden, which is below Sin 1 and exclusive to Exalted Abyss(Superstring Dimension), but you'll never be there unless you stop playing the game.

Tactics class can be found in the Event tab(in the Attack section, not the button on the left of the home screen). Additionally, if you click on the Mechanics tab on the top right, you will actually see a bunch of gameplay mechanic tutorials that can net you 15 crystals each.
9) DAILY CHECK IN
In case you didn't know, you can open this webpage everyday to get a small reward. Gives 50 crystals per month. Additionally, there are daily sign in rewards in-game, which total to 400 crystals and 1 dorm supply card every month.
10) BIRTHDAYS
Whenever it's a character's birthday, they will send you an in-game mail with a cake and 120 crystals. If I recall correctly, you also get 100 crystals on your own birthday.
11) COLLECTIONS
If you press your phone in the bottom right, you will see a "Collection" button. If you click on whoever is on the left, you will see the rewards for each score milestone, totaling to 1020 crystals, although it will take a very long to time get all of that. By acquiring more items in-game, you will increase your collection score. A good way to get more score is to craft dorm furniture and play story to unlock cutscenes.
