Its actually really interesting the fact that some of these big tech companies are rallying 3-6% intraday while SPY continues to struggle… they literally are just passing the buck around until the hat finally breaks.
We once again find ourselves in a familiar situation… a NYSE and S&p500 lead sell off into power hour without the support of tech.. followed by a coordinated TECH and VIX sell off EOD to prevent the full sell off potential… we have yet to truly see a day where tech leads the sell off and we have also yet to see a sell off that is allowed to continue into EOD.

Honestly what I hate the most is that you cant really say this rally is fake because well its actually happening right in front of our eyes… but what we can say is that this rally isn’t as strong and isn’t as sustainable as some want us to believe.

So now something I found EXTREMELY interesting and you know ill be first to admit that when it comes to stuff like this im very uneducated and just don’t understand the interworkings… but something one of the speakers said today is that basically due to the expected revenue in June that the actual debt limit and “running out of money” in June was overblown and incorrect in timing… I found that interesting…
Now the whole thing that really matters here is that my understanding is that the vote for this debt ceiling will happen tomorrow (I tried to find a time and couldn’t find any officially listed)… however, as of right now IF these people stick to what they are saying then we actually will end up with a default. The last “official” default date I heard was june 5th. So theyd have 4 days to basically scramble and get it done… popcorn event Thursday and Friday?
SPY DAILY SUPPLY AND DEMAND

We did not establish a new supply today, however, we did set ourselves up put a new daily supply in tomorrow… In doing that we actually would take our 419.5 and 418.78 supplies and would put our new upside resistance and supply at 422.08.
Now we are in extremely weekly momentum so one could expect a bounce off the supply and push higher which would then establish a new demand somewhere in this 417-419 area. However, IF the debt ceiling news shakes the market enough we could see a bigger push down to 414.55 demand or even 410.2 demand (support) to retest that support first.

When we look at the daily honestly this pattern of breaking out and rejecting the upside reminds me a lot of April 4th/18th and May 1st/ 19th. This structure actually looks pretty identical to May 18th and 19th. If so then we should see a rejection and actually see a retrace back to at least the daily 8 if not 20ema.
That gives us a price target of 414.5 to 416.8 for our retrace…
Now in the off chance that we continue to move higher and hold this black bull channel (which support is at 420.3 which means spy has to open green and hold green all day tomorrow)… if we hold that then our upside target is 425.78.

On Futures it’s the same thing we did not make a new supply and actually the daily DMI on futures shows a little bit more upside to go.
Looking at this until a new supply (resistance) is officially put in this likely is a backtest and bounce off the 4209/4215 supply. However, if a red day is put in tomorrow we likely turn 4240 into a new supply which would take our 4209/4215 and that would then target a breakdown to 4156 and possible 4128 on a bigger sell off.

Futures remains in its black bull channel which has a much more generous support at 4180 for tomorrow and resistance at 4261. A retest of the daily 8ema would give us a bounce near 4200 again tomorrow.

QQQ DAILY SUPPLY AND DEMAND

Now on QQQ I actually really am looking for a retrace tomorrow… the daily DMI has hit overbought, and we are nearing a new supply being put in… we did come up and take our 351.57 demand today also.
If we put a new supply in tomorrow at 352.68 then our targets would be 347.11 and potentially 337.6 if we see a bigger drop.
However, there is a case to be made here if this keeps running that we reach 357.09 and 361.7 demand to take that demand out before we retrace.
Honestly, from a technical stand point QQQ is so over extended it needs a pullback if bulls want any hope at 350-360s…
The red bull support sits at 350.7 and resistance at 360 for tomorrow.
VIX

Now on the VIX we came within a few pennies of hitting that key 16.92 support before we bounced… for a while today we attempted to and intended to break back over 17.97 and hold it. However, the EOD push up on SPY was met and led by a nice VIX drop… this doji here on VIX could with the potential SPY rejection signal a nice upside VIX and downside SPY move tomorrow.
Today was also an anomaly in that the VIX and SPY both closed green today…
10YR YIELD and DXY

Now one thing that is very interesting to me here is the fact that DXY broke its almost month long bull channel support. However, it is holding that key 103.865 support. But with momentum to the upside breaking on DXY that actually could favor upside on SPY… the one interesting thing really is the fact that DXY rallied WITH SPY over the last month…
The 10YR has the same trend in that it officially broke its uptrend with a rejection off of 3.813%... the key support to watch will be 3.693%.. now with the DXY I cant really wrap my head around why SPY would rally with it and drop with it… but on 10YR one could say that the 10YR rallying with SPY would be people going RISKY on and then a rejection here would be people going risk off.

This weekend I spent almost a whole half day going through all of my trades over the last month and identifying what was working and what wasn’t working the best… I came out super excited for my discovery and I did a lot of cleaning up of my charts… in doing that I actually was able to secure a massive win today… put in my full weekly profits today… “Mondays” have been extremely great to me so for the last month or so…
I actually really enjoyed trading today… as you can see there was some struggle in the morning as I kept bitting the recovery that never came (my own fault) and then mid day I struggled with the fake breakdown/ recovery and timing the breakdown… I definitely got stop loss hunted a few times today but overall a great day of trading mentally and results wise too.

2023.05.30 22:37 Some_Nerd_314 What are some Pokémon that make great use of niche/mediocre abilities?

(just a note, I've played like 0 comp Pokémon, most of my knowledge of competitive stuff comes from looking through writeups on certain mons or particular moves & strategies on Smogon, plus the odd video from channels like Big Yellow and False Swipe. Obviously stuff I like is usually going to be really niche/bad in most metas)
I was looking through some abilities I usually consider to be pretty useless and came upon normal Lilligant recently. It's probably my favorite Grass type since it's got a ton of cool stuff (powder moves, draining moves, strong grass moves, and it invented quiver dance alongside Volcarona). One thing I thought was odd was it having access to Own Tempo as one of its abilities. I felt like its other 2 abilites (Chlorophyll and Leaf Guard) fit it pretty well in terms of theming + usefulness, but Own Tempo seemed out of place. I tended to see it as a generic ability pokemon get if gamefreak doesn't have anything useful to give it. It seemed like most of the Pokémon in gen 5 had really fitting or useful abilities (outside of limber on Stunfisk of course)
However, after reading some stuff up on it, I saw that Lilligant actually can make better use of it than other Pokémon that have own tempo, since it moves petal dance when it evolves. One of the drawbacks of petal dance (the confusion after it hits 2 to 3 times) gets negated so it has an easier time using it! Obviously it's still not very effective in 95% of cases since grass is a poor offensive type, and being locked into grass offensively is pretty terrible. I just thought it was neat that Lilligant made use of an ability in a way I haven't really seen before!
The only Pokémon I could find that end up using self inflicted confusion in a similar way were Lickilicky since BDSP, Dodrio since it got Tangled Feet as a hidden ability (boosts evasion so i think it's banned), Spinda with both own tempo and tangled feet, plus it learns thrash through level up, and Smeargle cause it has own tempo for some reason.
The only time I've seen a normally pretty mid ability having a cool thing was Durant with Hustle, since it gets hone claws through TM in gens 5 and 6, so it gets an effective 2.25X power boost after 1 hone claws. Accuracy boosting stuff is pretty rare in Pokémon so I like seeing cool stuff like this existing, even if it doesn't get a lot of usage.
You guys are really smart when it comes to stuff like this, so I thought this would be the best place to look when it comes to learning about normally niche stuff actually being more useful in some cases. Obviously a lot of answers are going to be mostly matchup dependent like "X Pokémon does really well against this Pokémon since not only does it have a good type matchup against it, its ability gives it immunity to the sleep it dishes out" or something like that. I'm still cool with hearing about stuff like that since it's also pretty cool seeing normally shitty Pokémon showing up in a meta they have no business being in. I'd just like to see if there's other bad abilities that are good on some mons that I've overlooked!

2023.05.30 22:36 Adorable-Bid9544 How can I open different VM and Containers to Internet? I just have 1 public ip address

This is my case (to illustrate my situation):
My PVE: 1. DNS server (mostly for local binding names). 2. LAMP server (personal and test projects). 3. OMV server (shared storage and nas solution). 4. NEXTCLOUD server (trying to avoid Drive). 5. HOMEASSISTANT server (improving my house). 6. I also have couple thing more and planning to add to the list.
I want to open couple servers to the internet with regular domains (.com, .net, etc) but I until today I can only set 1 server with my router (Archer10).
At this point I am able to open to the internet my LAMP server and able to point domains and worked out the ssl problems.
But the thing is that I am able to only open 1 server (vm) at a time and not all of them, because when I configure my router configs I can only add ports 80 and 443 (ssl) 1 time and I can only choose 1 server ip address.
I tryed to point these ports to the DNS server (bind9) thinking that it will sort all ip addresses to domains and redirect the request but it didn't work, may be it needed more configuration as I was just setting basic rules... who knows...
I read about Reverse Proxy Server with Apache (that is what I am using for years) but I can't completely understand how that works, I am not even sure if this is the solution to my problem.
Anyone can point me in the right direction please 🙏?

So, a lot of people's hesitation on assuming Shohreh has been cast as Cadsuane seems to be that S3 would be early to introduce her. For me, though, that doesn't feel prohibitive - if you have an actor of that calibre on the hook for a character, you don't wait two years and hope they'll still be available, you find a way to weave them in earlier than planned. But that doesn't have to be in a full-scale main-cast role - you can often bring someone in in a guest role for a short appearance, and then bank them for later, so long as you can give them an introduction worthy of the actor's time. (See, for example, their introduction of Lews Therin - one isolated scene, banking the actor for later.)
Obviously, we don't know where things sit at the end of S2, but we do know they're planning to adapt TSR pretty directly for S3 (from Rafe's comments) and that early in S3, whoever Shohreh's playing is likely in Caemlyn (from WoT Series). I've seen a few people suggest she could have captured Taim, but to flesh that out a bit (to show why that alone might be enough to introduce her and bank Shohreh for later seasons):
Cold open, Siuan is arriving in Caemlyn. Cadsuane has captured Taim, and she has... a lot to say before she hands him over to be brought to Tar Valon. She remembers Siuan as a petulant child, half the time moping for Tear, half the time hanging off Moiraine's skirts. She suggests Moiraine must have been Siuan's backbone - certainly, she's been a useless Amyrlin, hiding away in the Tower waiting for someone to come tear it down. There are Whitecloaks in the Two Rivers, does Siuan propose to leave Morgase to deal with them on her own? The Andoran army's busy enough on the Cairhienin border. Oh, and don't lose this False Dragon, she's heard about what happened with the last one - is Siuan sure there are no more Liandrins in her retinue? Retirement, phaw, clearly, none of them can manage to lace their boots without her. Where's she off to? Oh, Tear or Falme (wherever Rand is), she's heard this one is a firebrand, she's hardly trusting the Reds to handle it after Liandrin. And where's Morgase's advisor, Elaida? Is Siuan fool enough to have left her free to operate unsupervised in the Tower? Best rush home, before someone takes that seat Siuan's clinging to by her fingernails.
Exit Cadsuane, thoroughly introduced as a power to make Amrylins quail and Dragons shiver - and on her way to track Rand down. Set up for Siuan being deposed done in a nice, high-conflict-and-interest way - and doubly likely, if Siuan then procedes to lose Taim between Caemlyn and Tar Valon. Morgase introduced in full regal flight pre-Rahvin, strong-willed enough to hold her own with the Amyrlin and the one woman who makes Amyrlins grovel - so what comes later has all the skin-crawling sense of wrongness it needs. Punchy enough to lock Shohreh in before her calendar gets filled up by projects that are ready to use her sooner. Lots of reasons for the audience to have conflicted feelings about Cadsuane even before she meets Rand.
I don't know what the writers' room has planned, and it may be nothing like this - but it doesn't strike me as difficult to put together a standalone scene or two that lets them lock Shohreh in, without needing even particularly significant revisions to canon (in this case, mostly just relocating Taim to somewhere further south than Saldea, so that it makes sense to bring him via Caemlyn).

2023.05.30 22:31 Spiritual_Field_4773 Bentley intentionally altered the timeline

With many discussions on Bentley wanting to know about the events for his friends being the case for Sly and Murray, what is noticeable is how time travel was never mentioned before Bentely's narration at the end of ^{Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves}, it was if he would never be interested in the idea in the first place? It's possible Penelope may influenced this idea with him, plus a lot of her works on ^{Thieves in Time} involve how she operates Time Travel but here's something a bit odd is Time Travel might not have been the way Penelope intended either.
But before we arrive to that, I need to address the further depths on how canon operates in general.
^{Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time} is of course Canon; however, it may not be part of the original timeline but is part of the main timeline.
Sounds confusing but let me give me examples of what I am talking about.
^{Detective Comics #27} is the first the Batman story that is about the Golden Age Version of Batman who has definitely killed people, this was retconned out the main, otherwise fully known the Mainstream Batman, to make the true character being more the envision of how he sets his rules, Earth-One, New Earth and Prime Earth are separate from Earth-Two that is where the Golden Age Batman lives on before he was killed on ^{Adventure Comics Issue 462}.
The second example is ^{Doom 3} that has no place in the original continuity involving ^Doom, ^{Doom II: Hell on Earth} and ^{Doom 64} but is Canon regardless of it not having place with the previous timeline.
What these examples are supposed to clarify is an installment can still be canon to the main series and the continuity it is from is the main continuity of the official run for the timeline making the previous only somewhat or not-so-official anymore.
^{Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time} is likely not part of the original timeline due to some inconsistencies with the events that took place, not to mention that Carmelita was taller than Sly in the trilogy but shorter in the fourth installment? We know the timeline can be altered due to what Le Paradox did with the canes, but it may have happened before he did that. Remember, ^{Thieves in Time} is still part of the main continuity as that is the current running continuity for the series, but what happened in ^{Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time}, where the game only follows the 100% ending, But ^{It's About Time} has definitely been confirmed to be canon to the franchise and is now the main continuity running just like what ^{Thieves in Time} is doing.
With that being said, the main timeline of what is the state of the series now has likely been altered before ^{Thieves in Time}, because Bentley and Penelope have been implied to have used Time Travel shortly after or during the ending of ^{Sly 3}. It could also be possible that his use of time travel may have been messed with by someone, but it may not have been Penelope who did it, or at least not directly or mainly directly. Meaning enemy of the Cooper who may find out about this might use it to their advantage but may have been fully successful in doing so either.
Originally the title of this post was supposed to be Time Travel wasn't Bentley's idea with Penelope or someone behind the scenes as written on the top here, and it's still possible that may have been the case, possibly from someone who intended to warn them about the future, possibly even being Penelope somehow. How exactly is up to question, maybe she has ties with certain hints, or maybe the name Clockwerk has more meaning, and she wanted to make sure that didn't ruin Bentley and the gang, even if that means she'd take action that would change herself completely.
A possible scenario on why she was the way she was in ^{Thieves in Time} and why she is not that way in ^{Honor Among Thieves} is because the previous timeline of herself rejected a lifestyle that she was living, making her developed from that while what happened ^{Thieves in Time} is she was influenced by it in some way that made her more selfish, and there had to have been a potential person involved in Penelope's life for this to happen, but with the timeline being altered, that person's influence on her life had a sinister effect.
Bentley's initial use for the time machine was to see how well the future would be, but what he witnesses was so terrible that he had to alter it for that not to happen, hence why the events seem to be somewhat loosely different from how things were previously, possibly somehow leading to Sly being killed by some an enemy or it may have been much worse with almost every member of the Cooper gang being killed down to the last person to save their fate, hence how the name Clockwerk could come into play, in being aware of the time travel in operating the events to suit his operation, but failed at the second to completely alter this, heck there may have been a previous timeline even before ^{Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus}, of it not being the first time that time has been altered, which makes me wonder if that is true, how different was that previous timeline? And will have anything to do with Clockwerk trying to mess with the timeline again? This would make more sense on how Clockwerk has always been a recurring nemesis for the Cooper clan, because of how time, the CLOCK WORKS in Clockwerk's favor in resetting everything for some alterations for him to come back, so God knows how many times this may have happened and why Bentley needed to alter it, implying he needed to break the loop that it would mess with Clockwerk's chances in using this to his advantage even if that means he has to sacrifice his relatinship with other's being like what happened with Penelope.

2023.05.30 22:30 gravygrowinggreen Two companies, two case studies in communication.

Last week, the developers at Ghost Ship Games released previews of a cosmetic DLC pack they planned on selling next month. The reaction to this cosmetic pack was mixed to say the least. People did not believe it was up to the usual quality standard of Ghost Ship Games. In light of that, this week, Ghost Ship Games released a new communications update on a central platform (Steam, with mirrored posts on Reddit and other forums).
They explained that the customers were right, and in light of that feedback, they had redone the cosmetics, with significantly improved details to make the guns stand out a lot more. They included a detailed video and image preview of the new cosmetics. And to top it all off, they promised to include both versions of the cosmetics in the upcoming content drop, with the old version of the paint job being included in the free update.
Note the steps taken in this communication.

Admission of the issue.
Detailed explanation of how the issue will be resolved, that leaves nothing to the imagination.

It is a simple formula. Only two steps. Of course, step 2 requires that a solution for the issue be in the works. Crucially, there were no announcements about the announcement. No "next week's" about how you'll hear more. No countdowns to patch notes. It is a strategy so simple, I'm only able to write this much about it. It is a good strategy. A strategy so good, that I, a very creative complainer and whiner, can't find anything to complain or whine about.
Now consider essentially 6 months of communication by Fat Shark. Let's track one issue. Crafting.

In the first month of release, communications largely promised that a complete crafting system was coming soon. Some week in December (2022, being implied).
What followed was a long period of chained in sequence "next week, we'll tell you more", cementing the phrase "next week" in darktide meme history.
Eventually, after Catfish assumes the duties of community manager, and to her enormous credit, we get the "open letter". This was perhaps the closest Fat Shark has had to having good communications. Unfortunately, old habits die hard. The open letter identified issues (incomplete crafting system; unsatisfying progression loop; poor performance optimization), and at least implied a solution (delaying seasonal content rollout and the xbox series xls launch, while suspending the upcoming releases of premium cosmetics; in order to have a "sole focus" on addressing feedback). Things are looking up. A new communications manager has taken over, and communications appear to be if not great, at least significantly improved.
Unfortunately, soon after this still somewhat vague letter, Fat Shark was back to its old habits. The crafting update came out, along with steady performance optimization. But open, candid communications slowly ceased. After the crafting update came out, Fat Shark has been virtually radio silent on the failure of that update to address the game's issues. If one were to go purely by communications by the company, it would be difficult to believe they even recognize those issues currently exist.
Since the crafting update, the only post by u/Fatshark_Catfish that I can identify which acknowledges crafting is an issue is this But we still have a real lack of actual communication. Outside this one post, barely any mention of any issues the game has.

So what can we learn about Fat Shark's communication strategy? If it doesn't involve outright lies (as it did in December 2022 when they promised a completed crafting system in December), it involves deliberate silence, and a refusal to acknowledge any issues. Apparently, if you don't admit your game has flaws, you don't have to address them.
Compare the two companies. I have a reasonable idea about what exactly GSG has been working on based on their release schedule and communications to players. I have no idea what Fat Shark has been working on. It is left to my imagination, and my imagination suspects they've just been focusing on a console port, past messaging to the contrary be damned. Even if they are working on the console port as their sole focus, them openly, honestly acknowledging this would be preferable to their attempt to string an entire community along with a drip feed of content while pretending they're doing their best.
You know what would be most preferable? If they could simply, openly, and honestly, state what the community's issues with the game are, and whether they plan to do anything about those issues. Even if the answer with respect to our example, crafting, is "no, while the community believes that is an issue, we do not", this answer would be preferable to their current strategy of "silence and let the community fester in false hope". It would be more respectful to the players that they need for this game to survive. It would treat people as actual customers, rather than products to be deceived.
To be clear, I don't think any of this is u/Fatshark_Catfish's fault. If anything, the open letter that occurred after she took over the community manager position indicates that she knows how to do her job right. And her continued silence in the face of the game's numerous issues is a policy set by management. So this is a fat shark problem, not a catfish problem. Fat Shark would do well to actually let catfish do her job, if that is correct.

Last season I reached infinite before the update and was playing for boosters so tanked my MMR as a result. I'm sure the update then introduced the snapshot MMR feature so for this season my MMR is messed up and for the life of me can't get out of the 70's is this the case for anyone else who did the same?
Did I mess up my MMR?
I reached infinite 3 seasons in a row before this so I know I am not rubbish before you ask.

Hi Reddit! My gf and I really need advice on wether or not we should potentially take legal action for our landlord not taking care of things that they should’ve. I’ll try and keep this as short as possible. Here’s the story:

We moved into our apartment in September of 2022. The first thing we noticed was the smell of smoke in our apartment. Apparently, my gf said that the carpets should’ve been changed (not sure if this is true or not) but this was the least of our worries.
When we moved in, we were told that the doorbell buzzer doesn’t work. We were sort of irritated when the landlord told us this, but she said that it would be fixed. Going on almost 9 months now and the buzzer has yet to be fixed. Anytime people come to visit, food deliveries etc, we have to go down 4 flights of stairs to let them in.

In December, I accidentally forgot my phone and keys and my dog and I were locked out in the freezing cold for about 15 minutes. Thank god someone came (it was like 2AM) and let me in because I had no way of contacting my girlfriend and telling her I was locked out. My gf also has a condition with her blood pressure so this is a major concern for her if she was to ever to forget her keys, which isn’t that uncommon.

In November, we noticed that our apartment started to get very cold. When we would sit on the couch, we would feel a draft coming from our balcony windows. The seals in our windows (living room, and 2 bedrooms) are broke and need to be repaired!!! We had the maintenance guy come take a look and he told us that we should just buy some seal and peel because they wont allow people on the deck to fix the windows. We did get the seal and peel, even though we feel like that shouldn’t of been our responsibility. However, the seal and peel didn’t work good enough because our electric bill went from about $80 a month to over $250!!!!!

After contacting our landlord multiple times about the buzzer, she continues to give us the run around saying “there was a landline installed by the previous tenant, and I’m currently working on the issue. I will keep you posted”. My gf did contact corporate about all these issues and demanded that we at least get some sort of credit for our electric bill. Well, we got a credit but so did everyone in the entire apartment. I just find it ridiculous and feel like we are being taken advantage of. Oh yeah, and they want to raise the rent this coming September $150 and we just got the notice today. I’m fed up. But also want to know if there are any legal actions we can take or advice on how to professionally handle this situation.

Hello everyone. My wife has a problem with her employeemployment status and further actions.
She has been working for a clothing company for almost 2 years. In March she took her maternity leave. It was supposed to be 12 weeks. In beginning of May company was acquired by American company, it was about 6 weeks in of her leave. She got job offer from that new company with same job title and pay. But offer was missing important information regarding her maternity leave and how its gonna affect her. She was given 3 days to sign. My wife replied to offer letter with an email, requesting more information about said benefits but her questions were never answered. She was only getting text messages from her regional supervisor, Paul, from company that was acquired(we assumed that he retained his position in the new company), asking my wife to sign the job offer and completely ignoring questions if the new company is going to honor her original 12 week leave benefits. So my wife gave in and signed the offer. Since then there was 1 pay period that she didn’t receive her deposit and another one coming this Friday. She inquired about that and Paul added his higher ups from previous company. One of those individuals was replying at first and admitted that company owns her money for period 05/01-05/10/2023 - that was her last day of employment with the old company and offered to pay with 1099 form instead of W2. By my advice my wife replied that she would like to get some sort of compensation for late payment and that she would also like to use her 32hrs of sick pay which she entitled to. And then silence. It’s been almost 2 weeks since their last email or text. She sent a couple more emails reminding them to get back to her. But still nothing.
We tried to contact several labor attorneys, but they either say that they will not take on her case or that they will call her back but never do. What are her further actions? I assume that she is constructively dismissed.
On a side note she was harassed and retaliated during her pregnancy. She has witnesses and conversation log with her bosses.
We live in California.

2023.05.30 22:26 Lophane911 Battleshock Strong?

I’ve seen dozens of people talking about how strong battleshock is going to be and I just can’t see it.
Even in battleshock focused armies it seems like the worst anyone will ever have to beat is a 8+ on their tests which is only slightly worse than a 50-50 and that’s only if they have 7+LD an no leader attached while also in-range of a -1 effect .
Strats do seem quite powerful so it’ll suck to not be able to use them on a unit but I suspect we will be using few enough stratagems that we’ll have a plethora of other options to use our CP on.
Casualties on the fall back can be pretty bad, but very situational, and not something either army can rely on and if you think about the timing it only really helps with if you charge a unit that will want to fall back it makes it a harder choice for them less than 50% of the time IF they are taken below half strength before their next turn.
Sticky objectives seem to be quite common so loosing OC will be annoying and is definelty the main part of battleshock, but I don’t think it will be as big a deal as people think with how rare being battleshocked might actually be.
Over a few test games I think per army (with no effect, just to see what it’s like and assuming everything has a 6+LD) the average is having to do like 3 natural battleshock tests per game, and I think between the three games we’ve had (18 tests) we only had like 3 units fail.
And for ways that can force battleshock on units not at half strength they don’t even get a pass with even in the rare case they fail the test they recover from it automatically without having to do a new test before they score or move.
Half strength is also a thing, maybe it’ll be much more common with the game getting less killy, but you’re much more likely to see a unit get wiped out once it’s being taken to half strength than you are to see it get there then not die.
I dunno, all this plus the auto-pass strat makes it seem like it’s going to be pretty weak in my eyes, something to keep in mind but unlikely to have a real palpable effect on the battle.

2023.05.30 22:26 mpt22 Front panel Airflow Question

I have the deepcool matrexx 50 case with glass front panel. I am going to remove the front panel but I am wondering which route I should go to replace it. Deepcool might be able to send me the mesh front panel replacement from the mesh variant of this case, and my other option is to buy 3x silverstone ultra fine nylon fan filters (0.02mm) and just place them over the fans.
Im going to be running 3 arctic static p14 140mms in the frront, with 2 on the top, and 1 exhaust.
Basically Im wondering if the air flow will be better with the replacement mesh front panel or the nylon fan filters. Im running a R7 7800x3d chip with 7900 XTX gpu so thermals are my top priority, while still mainting reasonable clean environment in the pc.
