2023.03.21 18:59 dngrtech compact case with 240 AIO and bottom intake fan
Hi there,
I am looking for a compact pc case for this configuration:
- Intel Core i7-13700KF
- GIGABYTE Z790 UD AC (ATX)
- CORSAIR Vengeance 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 5200 (PC5 41600)
- WD_BLACK SN850X NVMe M.2 2280 1TB
- CORSAIR RMx Series (2021) RM850x CP-9020200-NA 850 W
- Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 AIO
I would like to have at least one bottom intake fan (120mm is ok, but would be great to have 140 mm) and I want to be able to mount Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 AIO on the top (intake). It should also have two 140 mm fans on the front (intake). The price should be around 100-200$. Are there such cases on the market?

2023.03.21 18:49 GorKoresh Does "organic" fruit spread make PBJs go bad faster than traditional processed jelly?
I like to freeze a bunch of PBJ sandwiches each weekend and eat them for lunch. I'll usually take one out of the freezer in the morning and it's thawed and ready to eat by my lunch break. Sometimes I miss it and don't actually eat the sandwich until much later, like up to 8 hours after I took it out of the freezer in the morning. This time, I ended up buying organic grape fruit spreader from Kroger instead of the regular Welch's grape jelly.
https://www.kroger.com/p/simple-truth-organic-concord-grape-fruit-spread/0001111083899?fulfillment=PICKUP Does this have any affect on how long it can be left out? I know PBJs in general can be safely left out for a couple days before eaten, but does that timeline shrink considerably because I'm using fruit spreads with "no preservatives" instead of the more processed jelly?
Simply put, how long is a PBJ made with organic fruit spread safe to eat after I've taken it out of the freezer?
Edit: The jar does specify "refrigerate after opening" so I guess it falls into the "temperature controlled foods" category.

2023.03.21 17:00 dillpicklezzz Fan Setup on 011D Evo
| Hi all, I recently built a 13600k + 4090 FE build. While playing Warzone 2, I noticed my CPU temp are abnormally high. My GPU sits around 50c while my CPU is upper 60s. I was under the impression that my GPU would be hotter given that i'm playing at 4k. I have 9 intake fans and 4 exhaust fans. Below is an EXAMPLE picture of my setup. 1 rear exhaust and a Liquid Freezer II as the AIO exhausting on the top of the case. 3 intake fans on the side, front, and bottom. My buddy said that I should have done kind of a reverse setup where I have more fans setup as exhaust than intake. Looking for some advice on what the best airflow setup would be. Please let me know, thanks! https://preview.redd.it/24fmaye864pa1.png?width=913&format=png&auto=webp&s=3abf5fff888ae65c98b7fa80a610fdbd54397f58 submitted by dillpicklezzz to pcmasterrace [link] [comments] |
2023.03.21 16:44 Aggressive-City4453 The Butcher Shop In Town has Dark Secret
I live in a small town with a population of a thousand or so, Everyone knows everyone and most all are overly nice people. I didn’t find this strange as most small towns stuck together as a community.
There are 5 businesses in this town a gas station, a restaurant, two bars, and a butcher shop that had just opened in town this year. Everybody loves the meat from there and it’s at such a great price you can’t go wrong.
It was a Friday night, around 11pm and I seen police lights at the edge of town a horrible accident had occurred as two linemen fixing power lines had gotten electrocuted and there charred bodies laid lifeless on the ground below the power lines. The police were first to leave as after they got there details they took off. The ambulance hadn’t arrived yet, as it had to come from another city over an hour away. Only a man in a bloody white apron stood out in the darkness crouched down looking at the bodies and it was then I realized it was Marc the Butcher. I watched quietly outta sight wondering what the hell he was doing. Did he know the guys? Was it friends? family? All these thoughts kept running through my mind. Then I saw it, he took a hunting knife from his pocket, and starting carving big chunks of flesh from the charred bodies. I rubbed my eyes as I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. He stopped looked around then started hiding the slabs of flesh by a nearby bush. After several minutes of slicing most all meat from the bodies there wasn’t much left but bone. I couldn’t watch much more as I was so scared he would see me. Then he moved in a creature like way but super fast like a hunched over zombie from 28 days later. Super fast he zipped right by where I was and was gone.
I went home feeling dread, trying to come to terms with what I had seen. I didn’t sleep at all that night. The next day, curiosity had gotten to me so I had to go see if the slabs were still hidden off under the bushes. As I drove up I seen crime scene yellow tape was all around the power line and the bodies were gone. I walked over to where I seen him stash the flesh and it was all gone too. Only blood remnants remained and it looked like it left a trail off towards the woods on the outskirts of town. I followed the trail the best I could before it went cold.
I had to find out what happened to the slabs of meat. Did the butcher come back and make it seem like an animal did this? Did an animal or creature do this? I should’ve stayed and watched longer. I had to know, so I went by the butcher shop parked and observed for several hours. I saw nothing but the usual customers coming and going. I decided to go home and take a nap as I was short on rest from the whole situation.
I had a terrible dream, Marc the butcher was in it. He was chopping up human remains and making them into steaks, burgers, you name it. He was a bloody mess and he had me tied up saying now you know my secret you will become human meat. I woke up in a cold sweat. Thank god that was a dream, but was it a sign. Have all the townsfolk including myself been eating human remains? Is that why he has the best prices in the state on red meat? I asked myself. I gotta get to the bottom of this.
I skipped work the next day as I thought to myself I need to know what’s going on. It all seems like a bad dream and I havnt woke up yet. But I know what I saw and how Marc ran that night like something not from this earth. Like a cryptid of some sort in a human body. Whatever he is he must be stopped.
I went to the butcher shop again only to see that it was closed on a weekday how strange. I tried to break in knowing it was wrong but I knew something wasn’t right. It was an older warehouse building and in this small town with little to no crime nobody had alarms. I grabbed my ladder from home and climbed up to the roof, I searched around and found a possible way in through the air duct. It was a commercial sized system so rather large, I had no problem climbing down into the passageway. It smelled like death so bad I dry heaved a few times before I made it part of the way through. Then I broke through and fell a good 15 feet. Gasping for air, air I didn’t want to breath as I was in the meat locker. I seen the horror that I had imagined. Two policeman and a paramedic were hanging upside down with pools of blood below them as there throats have been cut nearly clean off to the spine. They stunk like they had been there for awhile. Expressionless were the bodies.
I then heard a door and a weird grunting and shrieking noise I ran and hid behind a stack of crates. Fear was filling my body now as I didn’t know what to expect. Bursting through the door, there was Marc all freakish looking and making animal like noises as he hobbled quickly over to the bodies. I was a nervous wreck if he finds me in here I am surely dead. He started sawing the bodies limbs from the bodies one by one throwing only the heads hands and feet in a black plastic bag. Then he started tasting the meat raw I almost puked as he was making ravenous creature noises as he was feasting on the remains.
He then started grinding the meat through a hamburger grinder and was packaging it and throwing it in the freezer. I didn’t know how much more I could take, his eyes were all black he had blood all over him. He was acting very strange then finally he left the room. I heard more tools grinding, cutting, chopping in the next room. Now was my chance to find a way out. The shit luck there was only one way in n out. So I was gonna have to stay until he left to go unnoticed.
It’s been hours now, It’s finally quiet, I never heard anyone leave. Trembling in fear I crawl out from behind the crates and make my way to the front entrance door. I creep as quietly as possible and I still hear nothing. I push the door slowly open peeking out in the dark front of the shop. The coast looks clear so I decide to make a run for the front door, as I do I notice a pale white skinned person out of the corner of my eye. It starts to growl. I run full speed towards the front door crashing into it. The glass breaks I’m cut all over bleeding barely conscious. As I hear something sprinting toward me from behind. It sounds like it’s from hell, I gathered myself and stumbled outside calling for help. But it’s 2am and nobody is around. I start to run best I could up the street, looking back I see Marc deformed hunched over making dreadful sounds as he starts running at me.
Then I see a man on his porch waving me over. He has a gun it appeared and he pointed it right at me shouting don’t move. I put my hands up stating there is something after me, but as I turned around to see where Marc was he was gone. Trying to explain myself the guy got on the phone with the police, not taking his eyes off me gun still pointed at my chest. Then outta nowhere the man was tackled and tore to shreds it was Marc, I took that as my chance to get away. I hobbled home not looking back, made it to my front door and hurried inside, I grabbed a bag full of clothes out of my house got in my pickup and took off fast as I could without looking back. I moved outta state leaving everything behind.
It has been six months since I left. I have browsed the web on that small town to check the status on things and in just the short six months I’ve been gone that little town has been completely erased. Unsolved disappearance of the whole city. It’s been abandoned and is now a restricted area.

2023.03.21 14:44 BusinessDirect3837 2014 Freightliner Sprinter High Roof 170" WB Stealth $57k
| $57k or best offer. Trying to sell it before the end of the month. I am 6’4 and have comfortably traveled the US in the past year living in this van and working full time as a software engineer. The van is in a great condition and comes with everything that you need to hit the road. I'm only selling it because I've achieved my goal of traveling to all 50 states and now it's time for me to pursue new adventures. https://preview.redd.it/wbv70z52j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8718833717fdb72923c9f3272c45c6d3843b5d9d https://preview.redd.it/pnx1h362j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=475565dd4d932a60d26f7bed7675e3bf24233384 https://preview.redd.it/w3l9b362j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=36a76bee2e0ffda1531df0197dab7f3824851f5d https://preview.redd.it/kvsuy262j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d42b8c4ba875907eadc2600ac31968b9d9e05d63 https://preview.redd.it/idj1w362j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f165540f009f58fd74045a74a06c97df6c3247e https://preview.redd.it/2lj4xiu8j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92f0a14282fcdcb27928bbd0676eaa1fcd8c66de https://preview.redd.it/youe6eu8j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4c305c7465bc439bfbfa30299a575798d0c54589 https://preview.redd.it/30439fu8j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbb3ed70810a9ca72fa05ee2d2735821794cfc56 https://preview.redd.it/fzz5beu8j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cafe163d65a2596074d86693e381a8c138643d97 https://preview.redd.it/lhlws7u8j3pa1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e8874a3ad7aada5868701ebaa7730c8099e5d380 Electrical setup: The van's wiring was done with great attention to detail. There are plenty of 12V and 120V outlets throughout the van, including in cabinets. There are fuses for all the outlets, ensuring that even if something with high voltage is plugged in, the system will remain safe as everything is protected by appropriate fuses. The wires are labeled and organized, and all joints are sturdy. The van's power system includes 600aH batteries, 350 Watt Solar Panels, and a DC to DC charger. This setup has never caused any issues, and the batteries are typically charged between 80-90%. Even on cloudy days, I could go a few days using everything on full power without any problems. There's a Renogy app that tells you how much power is left in the batteries and other information. Lights The van's lighting was designed with stealth in mind, and provides ample light. There are dimmable 120V lights on the ceiling with switches at the entrance and near the bed, as well as 12V lights under the kitchen and storage cabinets and under the bed. Additionally, there are configurable LED lights around the padded headboard that can be adjusted for color, brightness and patterns. Heating/cooling: The van has two Maxxair 05100K Ventilation Fans, one above the bed and one in the main area. These fans can blow in or out, allowing for optimal airflow when used in conjunction with the Sirocco fan on the wall, which is highly adjustable and can be directed towards the workspace or bed. The heating system uses a Propex HS2000 heater, which is superior to commonly used Buddy heaters. The Propex heater features two chambers, one for burning propane and another for circulating hot air. All burned propane and exhaust gasses are released outside of the van, eliminating any health or mold concerns. The van was able to maintain a comfortable temperature inside even during a winter storm when temperature outside dropped to 4 degrees. Kitchen: Black walnut countertops with ample space and includes a Dometic CD-50, 50L Drawer Refrigerator and Freezer. I use InstantPot for cooking, which uses electricity, but the propane locker has been carefully designed to accommodate any other cooking equipment if desired. The van's water system utilizes 5-gallon jugs that can be easily replaced at most grocery stores, with a total of 30 gallons of water storage in the back. There is also an option to install a larger water tank underneath the van, if desired. Vehicle Details: - 132k miles
- DIESEL engine
- Full inspection on 2/17
- No accidents
- Regular maintenance
- Backup camera
- 6.8" Pioneer Display with built-in Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth

The Electric Water Cooler: When it comes to staying hydrated, having access to fresh, cool water is essential. For many people, an
electric water cooler is the perfect solution. In this article, we'll explore the benefits of using an electric water cooler, as well as the different types of electric water coolers available on the market.
What is an Electric Water Cooler? An electric water cooler is a device that uses electricity to cool and dispense water. Unlike traditional water coolers, which rely on ice to keep the water cool, electric water coolers have built-in refrigeration systems that keep the water at a consistent temperature. This means that users can enjoy cool water at any time, without having to worry about running out of ice or waiting for it to melt.
Benefits of Using an Electric Water Cooler There are many benefits to using an electric water cooler, including: - Convenience: With an electric water cooler, users can access cool water at any time, without having to worry about restocking ice or waiting for it to melt.
- Efficiency: Electric water coolers are designed to be energy-efficient, which means they use less electricity than traditional refrigerators.
- Hygiene: Electric water coolers are designed to prevent the growth of bacteria and other harmful microorganisms, which can be a concern with traditional water coolers.
- Customization: Many electric water coolers allow users to adjust the temperature of the water, so they can enjoy it at their preferred temperature.
Types of Electric Water Coolers There are several types of electric water coolers available on the market, including: - Countertop water coolers: These compact water coolers are designed to sit on a countertop or table, making them ideal for small offices or homes.
- Freestanding water coolers: These larger water coolers are designed to stand on the floor and typically have a larger water capacity than countertop models.
- Bottom-loading water coolers: These water coolers have a water tank located at the bottom of the unit, which makes them easy to refill without having to lift heavy water jugs.
- Top-loading water coolers: These water coolers have a water tank located at the top of the unit and typically require users to lift heavy water jugs to refill them.
Conclusion An electric water cooler is a convenient and efficient way to stay hydrated, whether at home or in the office. With a range of models available on the market, users can choose the type of water cooler that best suits their needs and preferences. 2023.03.21 10:25 Royal_Ad5348 Should my roomate with 3 dogs be cleaning the floor more often than me?
Hey guys, so I (23F) lived with my bestfriend/cousin (25M) and his dogs for over 3 years. During quarentine his boyfriend moved in with us, and then we all became the best of friends. Well last year I ended up moving out of the house to live with my boyfriend. When I moved out my cousin rented the empty room to his boyfriends close friend. My boyfriend travels a lot for work and I don't like being alone so I would often go stay over my best friends house. I noticed everytime I came over she was literally never home, mind you I would stay over like 3/4 nights in a row. they would talk shit about their roomate saying she didn't clean or help around the house, literally every time I came over they made it clear they didn't want to live with her. When it was time for my boyfriend and I to renew the lease we decided not to because rent was going up significantly and it just wasn't worth it. When I told my bestfriends they were super happy and basically asking me for the green light to kick out their roomate so my boyfriend and I could have my old room back. Eventually she was kicked out and boyfriend and I we're moved into my old room.
I forgot to mention my cousin has 2 big husky pitbull mix dogs and a little mutt (husky, pitbull, god knows what tiny ass dog) he's had the two huskies since the beginning of us moving in together, and when one of them got pregnant he kept one of the puppies. He also later decided to take in another dog in "temporarily" (ended up being about 6 months) without asking anyone how they felt about it. The dog he brought in was very crazy and not trained at all. His dogs arent even trained our front door looks ugly af cause they all scratch it when they want to come in( our uncle filled it and painted it for us because it was so bad it bothered him when he came over, I didn't last a week) The house constantly smells like dogs, they're always peeing in the kitchen, and on the bathroom mats, also they're huskies so they shed like crazy. But I never ever complained about his dogs or cleaning up after them, let's be real the floor was swept and mopped everyday because his dogs shedding and dirtying the floor. Whenever we'd asked him if he'd found a home for her or whenever anyone made a comment about it he would get very defensive (mind you his boyfriend was very bothered by the dog too). One day his boyfriend texted the chat saying the dog was finally gone, when I got home and still saw the dog there I texted back saying he lied and my cousin got pissed and said it's none of my business (which yes it is because the rent is divided here equally and we moved in argreement of 2 dogs not 4) but I just left it at that.
Well not so long after my roomates started saying I don't clean, because I wasn't cleaning the house as often as I did when I previously lived with them (pretty much everyday because I was single and had nothing else to do but smoke & clean) my boyfriend and I always clean up after ourselves. mind you my boyfriend has been so uncomfortable living here, so he has never cooked in the kitchen without me ( and he does know how to cook, I'd say better than me) and neither of us have spent any time in the living room like ever, because it's their furniture and tv so we just didn't feel like it's our place. We started eating in our bedroom ( I never used to do that), when I tell you we only leave the room to use the restroom and cook I mean it. So when they say my boyfriend doesn't clean it upsets me because hes a gamer that also works full time so he never really never makes a mess, or leaves the room and we clean up after ourselves.
They started being very petty, sending messages in the chat complaining about something stupid everyday (My bestfriend (someone else who doesn't live with us) came over and my cousin started talking shit about me trying to say I don't clean, which really pissed me off, you talk to me about that, not my guest) She even told me that was super weird cause she knows I'm not dirty and he was giving pick me lmao. So I haven't had anyone over in months. At this point we weren't talking at all it was just them bickering everyday. One morning I was fed up and I sent them a paragraph telling them how I feel, and all the things Id done in the time since I moved in (I scrubbed down the kitchen cabinets and walls top to bottom, I'm the one that's cleans the shower and toilet, when I moved in I cleaned the fridge and threw out a bunch of expired shit in the fridge, freezer ,and cabinates, I scrubbed our front door that was dirty af from the dogs scratching it,my boyfriend takes the trash out and refills our 5gallon water tanks etc.) I was trying to explain that I do things around the house on top of cleaning the stupid floor that only gets dirty because of their 3 dogs. My cousins boyfriend said the house was cleaner before I moved in (they went into defense mode just talking a bunch of crap again) so I said it was their choice to kick out their roomate for me. and then he said no he's talking about before she moved in when they lived alone(for like a month), then the boyfriend continues to say a house should be swept and mopped every day with or without dogs, and I don't agree, if I lived alone I promise you there'd be no need to sweep and mop every single day because we don't dirty the floor. the only thing I agreed on them was they have always been the one to mow the lawn and pick up the leaves, (they never made their old roomate or her boyfriend that lived there too do it but that's none of my business lmao ). And my boyfriend and I have no problem helping them do it or taking turns, but I feel like they should of communicated with us about when they plan to mow the lawn so we can help (like hello we all work) instead of throwing it in an argument to make us look lazy, but that has been resolved we started taking turns. Anyways they were really disrespectful to me that day and they said some things I just can't forgive so we are no longer speaking but still living together. We used to do groceries together but now we don't and since we stopped doing groceries together we divided the fridge in half, and now we have 2 of everything (two ketchups, two bottles of mayo, two tubs of butter....) mind you we shop at sams so we have to squeeze everything in and we wrote initials on all our shit. Anyways am I the asshole for telling my roomates I shouldn't have to clean as often as they want me to?

2023.03.21 07:22 DAT_DROP My supereasy supercheap guide to home LSA extraction
This gonna be super short, I wanna go to bed. Got asked to put this up:
- Heavenly Blue Morning Glory seeds- UNTREATED get organic
- Grind the seeds. Do not use a cheap metal weed grinder, these seeds can break the teeth. Ask me how I know.. (don't ask)
- Once ground, mix in a small mason jar with enough cold water (or ginger tea) to cover the seeds and again as much water, and a few drops of lemon juice. Seal and refrigerate overnight
- Making sure the hulls have fully settled on the bottom (dark brown layer, the stuff that makes you sickie), carefully transfer to the freezer. Freeze it overnight
- Slowly warming the outside of the jar with cool water, release the ice plug from the jar completely. Carefully slice away the dark brown hull portion and discard. The rest of the ice is your extract.
Do more research first, don't rely on my word. This knocked me and my girl into a mellow yet intense and positive three day nature adventure on a remote beach. The evening of the fourth night, we still were not able to maintain regular conversation with other humans. Use caution.

2023.03.21 02:52 IcyCartoonist1955 Yakhchāl: An Ancient Persian Way to Make Ice in the Desert
I am sure everybody would agree that we take refrigerators for granted in today's world.
After all, what is the big deal? You open the fridge or freezer door, take some food or drink and forget about it. But then we all know that without a fridge, our lives would spiral out of control within a day. It is mundane but vital, no question about it.
That brings us to an interesting question - What did the ancients do? How did they manage without a fridge? Well, the ancients were far smarter than we give them credit. Take the ingenious Persians, for example; they managed to make ice in the desert.
2400 years ago, Persia was surrounded by hot and arid deserts, and it was obvious that people craved cold drinks and cold items to sustain the heat. Ancient Persian engineers created an innovative cold storage technology that allowed people to store ice in the middle of the burning desert. The technique was so low-cost and simple that even poor people could afford it.
They called this strange refrigeration wonder the Yakhchal, the world’s first refrigerating system.

2023.03.21 02:00 Ungovernable0 What’s wrong with my fridge and how to fix, if possible
See pics in link below. I bought this on fb marketplace last week. I’m not certain, but I think I made the scratches by pushing it into the back of my van, without covering up the hitches on the surface. I think maybe I created the dent at the top to from the fridge leaning on a part of the seat.
Anyways, I don’t care much about cosmetics, just function of the fridge. The issue is the the condenser runs a lot. Hard to quantify but it seems like it runs 55-70% of the time. You can see in some of the pics that the door alignment is off the freezer seals, but the handle on the fridge protrudes further than the bottom by maybe 1-2 cms(?). I’m thinking that maybe the dent at the top of one side has morphed the metal in a way that the freezer doesn’t seal all the way, allowing cool air to leak out. I can’t feel it, and the edge around the freezer door doesn’t get wet or cold, but I don’t know.
So is the condenser a problem? Did I cause the problem, if is a problem, can I fix it and how?
Thanks!

2023.03.21 01:23 SevrPops I feel like I’m not learning enough about the trade
I’m 25, I went to a trade school for 10 months, got my universal epa. Was working as a janitor then promoted to maintenance worker. I applied to be a building engineer for an Arena & surprisingly got the position. I was honest at my interview & told them what I know & what I don’t know.
I came in with little knowledge about the trade as I was almost fresh out of trade school. But they told me that’s ok I can learn on the job & I have. I’ve learned a lot about plumbing & electrical.
But I’ve learned very little about HVAC/Refrigeration. A coworker of mine also has trade background of HVAC & teaches me what he can. We work on a lot of portable bars/fridges & walk-in coolers/freezers. We don’t always get them up & running so sometimes we have to ask for help & we learn a thing or 2.
A day came where a motor was shot for a cooling tower & I thought sweet finally my coworkers can teach me something (as they have done this before) Unfortunately my chief engineer (who’s only been here 2 years) called ACCO to replace the motor so I was bummed out, whatever. Another day comes where our floats for the cooling tower were bad, I thought ok this seems pretty simple & straight forward. Apparently not, so ACCO to the rescue. I at least try to stand around, pick their brain, watch them work but I know some technicians don’t like that.
ACCO told me to apply to their apprenticeship program but there will be a significant drop in pay.
Is there another alternative to where I can learn more? Maybe actually go out in the field on my days off if that’s even possible. I’ve also been considering going to electrical school so I won’t feel useless. Thanks in advance.

2023.03.21 01:05 Leading-Ad862 GE Profile Fridge on the fritz?
We have a 1.5 year old GE Profile fridge. Returned home from vacation and noticed things in the freezer seemed to be thawing out. There’s no way to check the temp so put my Bluetooth meat thermometers in both the fridge and the freezer. Over the course of 24 hours the freezer ranges from 23 degrees to 35 degrees. The fridge ranges from 38 degrees to 46 degrees.
When I look at the graphs from the meat thermometers it seems while one cools the other warms up.
Either way they’re not functioning properly. The freezer I emptied out and most of the fridge so I don’t know if an emptier fridge is effecting temp of the fridge (not freezer). I’ve never paid this much attention to temps before.
Refrigerator temp is set at 38 and Freezer at -1.
I have warranty so it will be looked at on Wed, but just curious if anyone has had something similar.

2023.03.21 00:00 K6yM6y can i eat a refrigerated hot pocket
I want to take a hot pocket for lunch tomorrow at work but have no freezer to put it in. I read that you are not supposed to eat them thawed. It's got sausage, egg, and cheese in it. Would it be fine after 4 hours in a refrigerator?

2023.03.20 23:33 bjmarchives Bad time to buy AIO?
I patiently waited for my Arctic Freezer II 360 to arrive, it took around 2 weeks and the last component. I start to prepare the cooling block and realize there is a major QC issue. The bracket screw on one side bottoms out after just a couple of turns.
So now I’m hesitant to even go with another one from Arctic. Is this bad luck or bad QC due to trying to keep up with demands?
Has anyone else had similar issues, I personally haven’t.

2023.03.20 18:04 SteelJoker Kenmore Elite Fridge/Freezer Temperature swings
What's the expected temperature swings for a fridge/freezer (to be specific a Kenmore Elite)?
I have it set to 37f and 0f, but my temperature sensor says the fridge swings from 31f-41f and the freezer from -20f to 20f every day. I called the companies tech support, and they said that this was expected behavior, but I can't imagine that the fridge going over 40 and the freezer having a 40 degree swing range is typical.
When the freezer is in the 20s, some of my frozen foods have the wrong consistency, which is how I noticed and why I got fridge/freezer temperature sensors.
If anyone could either confirm it's not working correctly, or relieve my worries by confirming it is typical, I'd appreciate it.

- Refrigerate: If you’re not going to drink your tropical smoothie immediately, you should refrigerate it as soon as possible. Store the smoothie in an airtight container and place it in the fridge for up to 24 hours. This will help to keep the smoothie fresh and prevent it from spoiling.
- Freeze: If you want to store your tropical smoothie for a longer period of time, you can freeze it. Pour the smoothie into an airtight container, leaving some space at the top for expansion. You can store the smoothie in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you’re ready to drink it, let it thaw in the fridge overnight.
- Separate ingredients: If you want to store the ingredients separately, you can do so by placing them in individual containers. For example, you can store the frozen fruit in one container and the liquid (such as coconut milk or orange juice) in another container. When you’re ready to make the smoothie, simply blend the ingredients together.

2023.03.20 16:39 maxspina It’s so easy to cook!! The best cheesecake recipe I’ve ever eaten!!
1 wish I had tried this recipe before, the result is amazing! Look no further than this incredible Cheesecake recipe! l've tried a lot of Cheesecakes in my time, but this one takes the cake - literally. It's so creamy, fluffy, and full of flavor, you won't be able to resist. And the best part? You don't need any special equipment to make it - just a few simple ingredients and a bit of know-how. It's the best Cheesecake I've ever eaten and my family can't get enough of it. This Cheesecake recipe is so delicious that my family doesn't even bother buying cheesecake from bakeries or restaurants anymore. Once you try it, you'll see why. The creamy and sweet cheese flavor is simply incredible and I guarantee that you'll fall in love with this recipe after just one bite. It's so good that you could make it every day and never get tired of it.
Ingredients: • 200 g cookies • 30 g unsalted butter, melted • 800 g cream cheese, at room temperature • 200 g heavy cream • 3 large eggs • 1tsp stevia (or sweetener of your choice) Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). 2. Crush the cookies into fine crumbs using a blender or by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. 3. Combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter and mix until well combined. 4. Line a mold with baking paper. Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a mold. Use a flat-bottomed glass or measuring cup to press the crumbs firmly and evenly into the bottom of the pan. 5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove it from the oven and set it aside to cool while you prepare the cheesecake filling. 6. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth and creamy. 7. Add one teaspoon of stevia to the cream cheese mixture and beat until well combined. 8. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, until the mixture is smooth and creamy. 9. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust in the mold. 10. Place the mold into a larger baking dish and pour hot water into the baking dish until it reaches about halfway up the sides of the square mold. 11. Bake the cheesecake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly. 12. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and allow it to cool completely to room temperature. Then, transfer it to the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This helps the flavors to meld together and develop fully. 13. Open a can of peaches in syrup and drain off the excess syrup. 14. Cut into slices and arrange over the top of the chilled cheesecake. 15. Gently press down on the peaches to help them adhere to the cheesecake. 16. Serve immediately, or cover the cheesecake and refrigerate until ready to serve. Note: You can also add a dollop of whipped cream on top of the sliced peaches for an extra touch of sweetness and creaminess. Enjoy! #fastandeasyrecipes #tastyfood #cheesecake

2023.03.20 15:33 freezermink Replacement refrigerator options?
We purchased this home in the fall and most is great - with a few exceptions. One of them being this piece of junk fridge - missing a handle, too small, dented, always running etc. We would obviously like to replace it with an up-to-date model. Here's the problem - the fridge is 30in wide and the opening is ~32.8in wide - from right wall to left countertop and cabinets.
https://imgur.com/a/o9tlYvN Optimally we would love a bottom drawer freezer, french door top style 33in fridge, (most are slightly less than 33in actual size) but it looks like even if we could squeeze one in there, it wouldn't be functional, especially on the right side. I have gone so far as to consider moving the pantry wall (right side) over slightly to accomodate a larger fridge, but that is clearly a more drastic step than may be necessary.
Anyone have suggestions as to what may be able to be done without major reconstruction?
