Residential construction sales. I’m about a month in. This is 1099, we are given leads daily which we drive to on our own to sell. I was originally told training pay where I go with experienced reps and get paid if they make a sale would last for however long I decide to still go on those ride alongs. Now that’s cut off all the sudden because $250 is too much to pay someone who sat in on a 5-45 thousand dollar sale. Was paid a gas check for the first 3 weeks that I was going out but that’s cut too. - both of which I can understand I guess. Can’t pay people forever who aren’t making you money. Weather or not 3 weeks is enough is a different convo.
The thing that makes me question if I should stay is the lead quality. Rough guess but I’ve hit probably 12 leads on my own. Only two were “good” appointments where everyone who needed to be there was present and I could pitch them, haven’t made a sale yet though. The rest were all no shows, too busy, someone’s missing, etc. I mean hell today I was sent to an appointment with the wrong address, name, phone number etc. that I waited around for 3 hours to go and hit after getting 3 other no shows same day beforehand.
Personally, a few others and I think all of us on the small team with the new manager are getting shafted on the leads. I mean hell the top producer is made 50 thousand in commission last month, and I don’t think he’s getting 2 sellable leads out of 12 he goes to.
On top of that, I’m driving 2-3 hours a day to get there and back + driving to appointments. I have left for work and gotten back home literally 15 hours later before. I was told they’d be opening a new office near me when I was hired with our small team but that’s gone to the wind and now the new story is that our team needs to generate a certain amount in sales to make that happen and for it to make sense to the operations manager and owners.
Idk, what do y’all think? I’m kinda just sticking this out right now to see what happens.

In the fall, I had a series of strokes and was out of work for a long time while in the hospital and rehab recovering. Could not pay Dec, Jan, Feb rent. Landlord recommended me applying for a program called ERAP, which I did at her request. I am assuming that she thought that the application process would be short and she'd be reimbursed in a relatively timely manner. That didn't happen. By Feb, she opted to take me to magistrate. I appealed the judgment ordering possession in a supersedes motion in the local court house. I represented myself pro se with the help of staff at the court house. I reached a point where they were unable to help me any longer as they never had anyone to this far in the process. Meanwhile, I'm still not back at work full time, but am paying the prothonatarys office the monthly rental amount of $1600, which is literally all I had. Fast forward until today...I contacted the ERAP reps who informed me that my landlord was compensated 17k for those 3 months I was behind as well as for the months of March-August? So, I've been paying her and she's already received payment, meanwhile I'm worried sick that I'll be evicted and have nothing to eat?? I have THREE KIDS! I work hard! Now, here's the thing... If i do not pay the prothonatarys office the monthly rental amount of $1600, my appeal will be dismissed without a judge seeing my case. BUT, all of my money is going to pay the prothonatarys office which means I have zero money to save to move. And, believe me, I'm on a month to month lease so she's going to have me out one way or the other. I have never had any past landlord issues. I do not want prospective landlords to think I'm a renter that doesn't take the responsibility of paying on time seriously. Does anyone have any advice? I've tried the Pa Bar. I've tried Mid Penn legal. All the attorneys that I call will either 1. Only represent the landlords in these cases or 2. Want $500 just to speak to me. I have to hand it to the pigs. They're not as clueless as I believed. What I once thought were monkeys dressed in uniform flinging shit at the wall, are actually monkeys using rudimentary tools to fling shit at the wall. I'll admit, it's cute. Still, if Morefolk's finest thought that updating their firewalls, naming their files gibberish, and using monoalphabetic substitution ciphers for their file text was enough to throw me off, they're sorely mistaken. For one, firewalls aren't as effective when I've left a backdoor in the system for free access. Seriously, it's not that difficult to get into something once you've already been inside before. Not to mention... you seriously thought documenting stuff in some basic code would do the trick? That I wouldn't be able to convert it to plain text? At least do something a little sophisticated next time; might I recommend studying some old telegrams from wartime and seeing how they did things? Seriously, your tech department should be paying me for tutelage, your cryptography is weak. The only thing I can give you credit for, is that I haven’t found any information on the unnamed agency referenced in your files. I assume their documents are cataloged in their own, entirely separate database, which isn’t surprising. Still, the only reason another agency would be involved with you at all, would be to order you around behind the scenes like the bunch of lackeys you are.
Regardless, that has no bearing on whether YOU can keep me out of YOUR shit. I suspect you'll either throw out the system and start anew, or, the more likely approach you'll take, is to start cataloging your documents in analog style. Don't know, don't care. I've already got enough as is.

Many of the young students she taught and influenced took part in laying down flowers and paying their respects at the school, which hosted a memorial assembly in her honor. Ellie stood as a pillar of this community, doing what she could to ensure that future generations had a reliable shoulder to lean on. Now, a community stands as one, hearts torn apart for the Singleton family. This will surely be a day of much mourning and prayer."

They aren't even trying to hide it, are they? Surely you all caught it as well. Suddenly, the husbands who have gone without comment for so long, all come together to give a statement. A statement with the takeaway message of trusting the police department.
Want to know an interesting little tidbit of information? The author of all those newspaper clippings is the same person. Guess who it was. Does the name "Phil Pratt" ring a bell? Morefolk's beloved journalist, who happens to be married to Jamie Pratt. As is common knowledge, Jamie Pratt's maiden name is Jamie Mackey... these articles were written by the Sheriff's son-in-law.
I couldn't make this shit up.
Still, I know what you're thinking. It doesn't matter who wrote those articles and what biases they have! That doesn't mean the contents of the texts themselves aren't perfectly rational. Of course the husbands took a while to comment, they've been through so much trauma! Obviously, they all came forward together because they've got something in common to commiserate over, they're serving as each other's support systems, right?
Sure, it all sounds plausible at first, but the more you think about it, the more what I'm saying adds up. Remember, the husbands weren't allowed to stay at their homes, because their houses had become a crime scene. Plenty of neighbors and family members offered them places to stay, but you know where they ended up? That's right, they ended up staying in the police station. Yeah, I know the reason given was that the police wanted to ensure the husbands were receiving attention to their mental health, but then why not have them stay at the hospital? Then there's the explanation that the police wanted them close by so they could aid the investigation. Still, is that something that would require them to eat, sleep, and drink at the station for almost all hours of the day? That doesn't add up, does it?
I'll tell you the real reason that accounts for these abnormalities. The police were keeping the husbands there to monitor them. To ensure they weren't freely spreading their stories. To prevent them from commenting on the situation until they could be fed a comment generated by the pigs themselves.
You should also consider the fact that, despite these husbands having been in close proximity to their wives at the time of the killings, they were never once considered suspects in the case. What could possibly account for that, other than the fact that the cops knew that someone else, or something else, was responsible from the very beginning?
Some of you won't ever believe me, and I acknowledge that. That doesn't take away from the fact that this whole debacle has been handled so unconventionally. We've been told that the police would keep us updated on their investigations, but what have they really given us? We've received no identifiable suspect, no autopsy reports of the deceased victims, and the newspaper is more focused on selling this bullshit "Unify and support the police!" narrative than focusing on the particulars of the deaths themselves.
Go ahead and tell me we're being kept in the dark for the sake of investigative confidentiality. Tell me I'm seeking to divide us and push some communist anti-police agenda in the midst of a community tragedy. Claim that I'm making mountains out of molehills. Here's all I have to say. Either you're with me, the people, and the truth, or you're going to be a mindless sheep, licking the boots of those keeping the real facts at bay. The time is coming to make a damn choice.
Don't worry, I've got so much more to share. I'm not done exposing the hidden truths I found in the police files I cracked. As of tomorrow, my boyfriend and I will have been together 4 years. I love him to death but I know it's going to be just another day. It is, but we've never done anything for it before and this year we were talking about it. Today, I get home from work to talk about it but I was surprised with a chore list of things to do after he's done with work. Mopping, dishes, laundry, you name it. And to find out he's going to lunch with his mom and her coworker. I don't want to pester him about going to dinner tomorrow but I thought it would be a nice thing for us since we've never really gone out for a nice dinner together before. He's also really anti spending money right now and anything more than $15 between the two of us will probably send him into cardiac arrest.
It's not about the money, but his overall disinterest turns me off. Part of me is hopeful that he will come around, but given the past few years have been the same, I don't want to get my hopes up. I just want to spend quality time together.

Some background info: my girlfriend always gets sick and always has a head ache or something. when she’s sick with something as little as a cold she acts like it’s the end of the world/ acts like she just had some major surgery and makes everyone wait hand and foot on her.
Saturday I was at the bar with some friends. My girlfriend texted me that she wasn’t feeling good (stomach ache). a couple hours later she calls me sobbing and tells me she threw up a bunch so she’s going to the hospital and that I need to get there immediately. 5 minutes later she called me again asking if I was on my way and I said I’m waiting to cash out and she hung up on me. I get there and sit in my car for 2 hours because it’s one visitor at a time and her dad was in there. She didn’t want me to switch with her dad so I was waiting in the parking lot for a long time waiting for her to decide if was my turn. (Don’t know why she was so concerned that I was there immediately if she wasn’t gonna let me in).
Finally she said I can come in so I did and she starts coming at me being like why are you acting strange, what is wrong with you and I’m like sorry I’m exhausted and I’m literally trying to stay awake. I was just half asleep in my car waiting for 2 hours to see when you’d let me come in. After a while she finally got checked into a room and 20 mins later she had her dad come in again and had me leave so I left the hospital instead of waiting in the parking lot again, getting home at 3 a.m. She came home a couple hours later, they told her it was just a stomach virus. (Which I was expecting. She gets super dramatic and acts like she’s dying when it’s something simple like a stomach bug)
that next morning (Sunday) I wake up at 8 in a rush to get to work because I overslept after being up all night with her and she got mad saying “you’re leaving!?” And I was like yeah I have to go to work
after work I had plans to drive to the next state over and stay the night with a friend. when my shift was over, I came home to pack my bag so i could leave. Before I even packed my bag I came upstairs and tried to lay with her for a little and say hi but she pulled away from me and didn’t respond when I tried talking to her, so I said “okay I guess I’ll pack my bags and head out then”. so I packed, came back to say bye, and the same thing happened with her pulling away from me and she didn’t say bye back or anything. I leave and 40 mins later she calls me sobbing saying how she can’t believe I left her there all alone after she was in the hospital (her dad and sister were home) and that I don’t care about her, etc etc. she was literally sobbing saying how taken back she was that I’d leave her when she was just in the hospital, even tho it was just like a 24 hour bug that she didn’t need to go to the hospital for.
On top of that she had been acting like she wanted nothing to do with me from the time I got to the hospital to when I got home from work.
