I try to explain Mario Bosses
2023.06.03 22:41 Any-Ask-9714 I try to explain Mario Bosses
I don’t think most Mario bosses are that bad. I will prove to you that throughout the Mario series, there are only a few bad bosses of the majority. I will try and get you on the side of Mario bosses by explaining the mechanics of every single one. (with a bit of personal bias of course)
Super Mario Bros/Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels:
The First Mario game’s bosses were very and I mean v e r y primitive, But I won’t fault the games or the developers, but to be fair this was one of the first games for a (fairly) Primitive console and bosses weren’t even the main focus of the game, the main focus was on the challenging platforming and level design.
Fake BowseBowser: The boss fights in this game are very simple but could be challenging if you don't have any power-ups with the boss throwing hammers and breathing fire, but all you have to do is either run under the boss when they jump or just jump over them.
------------------------------------------------------
Super Mario Bros 2/ Super Mario Bros U.S.A:
This game is where I’ll start getting into specific boss fights and how they work Individually.
Birdo Miniboss: The Birdo miniboss is a decent boss fight that can be quite challenging especially the later versions where some of the eggs the birdo shoots out are fireballs and you have to watch if the boss is firing the eggs or the fireballs to send them back.
Mouser: The Mouser boss fight is surprisingly fairly challenging, the fight makes you time when you’re going to grab the bombs so you don’t get blown up and time when and where you throw the bombs on Mouser’s platform so the bombs will harm him.
Tryclyde: The Tryclyde fight, (for me at least) is pure panic as the boss shoots its fireballs at you in a near-constant spew while you have to throw the mushroom blocks at the boss and make sure to dodge the fire shot at you.
Fryguy: The fight against Rryguy is also about timing as you have to dodge the raining fire from the boss in the first phase while you grab the mushroom blocks and throw them at the boss until it blows up. The second phase however can be very annoying trying to hit the Small fryguys while dodging them jumping at you.
Clawgrip: The Clawgrip fight is admittingly very slow but it can be pretty engaging to dodge the hurled rocks and send them back to the boss.
Mask Gate: The mask gate fight is probably the best in the game purely because of the sense of shock. The gates usually mark the end of the level and a moment of peace after the boss you just fought. Although the fight itself is pretty lackluster, the gate only flies around the room from side to side as you throw the mushroom blocks at the boss, the only challenge being dodging the boss when you throw the block at them.
Wart: The wart fight can be very challenging with wart spitting out his bubbles in a line with the player having to dodge the gaps in between while throwing the vegetables from the dream machine at the obese toad.
------------------------------------------
Super Mario Bros 3:
The third game from the Mario series has some admittedly boring bosses as pretty much all of the main bosses are the same with only about two being unique.
Boom-Boom Miniboss: Boom-Boom is what most people think of when they say Mario bosses are bad and easy, and I agree the only “danger” is that Boom-Boom may show his spikes before you land on him to “trick” you.
Koopalings (Besides Lemmy/Wendy): 5 of the seven Koopalings are all the same fight with very minor changes such as the ground shaking or the boss moving faster, the Koopalings mostly just fire three magic rings in your direction and jump at you when you stomp on them.
Lemmy: The Lemmy fight is Different from the Koopalings, as Lemmy fires his bouncing balls at Lemmy and rolls around on the ball after you hit him, this doesn't mean it's hard as I don’t even think Lemmy can harm you unless you just jump right into him.
Wendy: The Wendy fight is unique as instead of three rings Wendy summons hoops that will bounce around the room making it pretty difficult to jump on Wendy’s head since the hoops will damage you while you’re in mid-air making it impossible to dodge away from the hoops shot by her.
Bowser: The Bowser fight is probably the best in the 8-bit era of Mario. The Koopa King will spit fire at Mario, The King Koopa will also try to shoot the fire in random directions to try to fool Mario into jumping into them, The Koopa King will also try to Ground-Pound on Mario, But this is also how you defeat him because the floor is made from breakable blocks, Mario has to guide Bowser into Ground-Pounding onto the same spot of blocks until he ground bounds into the pit below the blocks, Overall being a great boss fight.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Super Mario Land:
The bosses of Super Mario Land are Fairly unique and different from many 2d Mario bosses with Most of them being similar to Shmup bosses.
King Totomesu: The King Totomesu fight is a copy of the original boss fights from Super Mario Bros. The only real difference is that Totomesu can only be Jumped over to beat.
Dragonzama: This boss fight is one of the three Shmup bosses in the game the boss is slightly challenging while the boss moves up and down on the screen shooting fireballs periodically alone is pretty easy to dodge, the real challenge comes with the energy ball that bounces around the screen making you stay on edge during the fight.
Hiyoihoi: This boss is probably the worst of the bunch being more of a platforming challenge than a fight as the boss throws boulders at Mario, Mario having to jump on top of the boulders to get past the stone head.
Boikinton: This boss is the second shmup boss and probably the best, the boss is fairly hectic as the cloud bounces around the boss arena and fires homing flying chickens at Mario. The Chickens can be fairly hard to dodge as the boss bounces around the arena making it hard to dodge the chickens and the cloud at the same time.
Tatanga: Tatana is the final boss of Super Mario Land And is the final shmup boss of the game Tatanga fires large cannon balls at Mario that explode into three cannon balls when shot by Mario’s ship. This boss is overall a pretty good final boss and a very fun fight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Super Mario World:
This is the first 16-bit game of the Mario series and is widely known as one of the best 2d Mario games, but most people say that the bosses in the game are lackluster but I say otherwise. Let me explain.
Iggy/Larry Koopa: These fights take place on a shell-like platform that teeters from left to right, Mario has to jump on the Koopa to send them back and knock them into the lava below, The Bosses will roll fireballs down the platform at Mario. The Larry fight’s only real difference is the Lava bubbles that leap from the lava below making the fight more difficult by its environment, overall being pretty good boss fights.
Morton/Roy Koopa: These boss fights take place in an arena with two walls on each side that the boss will use to climb up the walls of the arena and leap down from the ceiling once they’re right above Mario, when the boss slams on the floor they will shake the ground causing Mario to be stunned in place unless he is in the air, this is dangerous as the boss will then walk over to Mario to try and damage him getting harder each time as the boss gets faster after every hit and the walls will also close in after every hit (only in Roy’s fight). This fight is fairly amazing.
Lemmy/Wendy: These fights are, In my opinion, the best boss out of the three bosses that are shared between two Koopalings, The boss will pop out of the pipes on the bottom of the arena along with two decoy Koopalings that will damage you if you try and jump on them along with one lava bubble that bounces around the arena (two in the wendy fight), The only major difference between the two fights is that the Lemmy fight’s pipes are different heights and in the Wendy fight they’re completely level with each other.
Ludwig Von Koopa: The Ludwig fight is my favorite boss in the game being nothing but a 1v1 against the Oldest Koopaling With Ludwig hopping around the arena making it pretty hard to jump on his head, his main attack is spitting horizontally moving fireballs at Mario making Mario have to jump over the fireballs to get to Ludwig and jump on his head. One of the best parts of the fight (in my opinion) Is after you hit Ludwig when he goes into his shell and slides around the arena at high speeds to damage Mario.
The Big Boo: The Big Boo boss fight is a surprise being the first of the two secret boss fights in the game, the fight involves throwing grabbable blocks from under Mario at the big boo. The challenge comes from the two smaller boos that constantly go after you during the fight and the fact that you cannot constantly attack the big boo because they become incorporeal after you attack him once. This fight is a surprise since you can go through the entire game without even encountering the big boo.
Reznor: The Reznor fight is the second secret fight of the game this time with an entire secret fortress level beforehand, the four Reznors are on a Ferris wheel and Mario has to bump the platform the Reznors are on to defeat them while the Reznor's spit fireballs at Mario after the second reznor is defeated the floor will start breaking making Mario have to jump on the Ferris wheel and try to dodge the dino’s fireballs and defeat the Reznor at the same time, being a great fight
Bowser in the Clown Car: This Bowser fight is a very engaging battle with the Koopa king throwing down Big metal balls on top of Mario and sending down exploding m\Mechakoopas that Mario has to throw back at Bowser, After The King Koopa gets hit 3 times by the Throne Mecha Koopas he will fly above the boss arena and send down fireballs from the Clown car That can be tricky to dodge at the moment, hitting Bowser 3 more times will cause Bowser to crash ending the fight and saving the day.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins:
The bosses of Super Mario Land 2:6 Golden Coins are fairly simple with most of the bosses only having 1 or 2 attacks they use through the fight to make them unique.
Big Bird: The big bird boss fight is the most simple boss in the game but is also one of the most engaging with the Bird periodically swooping down from one of the top corners of the boss arena making Mario time when he jumps on top of his head or risk getting hit by the Bird.
Tatanga: the Tatanga boss fight is a surprising reveal with Mario having just defeated Tatanga in the previous Mario Land game. In the fight, Tatanga flies on either the right or left side and fires out energy beams from the front of his spaceship and also fires explosive balls from the bottom of his spaceship this causes Mario to have to jump over them to avoid taking damage, but Mario also must avoid jumping too high as to not get hit by the laser beam that is fired from Tatanga's spaceship.
Sewer rat: The sewer rat tried to attack Mario by ramming its spikes nose into him and will try to accomplish this by using the many pipes in the boss arena to try and trick Mario into not knowing where the rat is going to pop out from, the rat will also run on top of the ceiling to try and land on top of Mario when they are right above him.
Witch: The witch has a pretty fun fight with Mario standing on three pots, the Witch will show up on either the right or left side of the boss arena and will fire a fireball at the bottom of the pots making the pot lid rise into the spikes on the ceiling hurting Mario if Mario gets launched with the lid, Mario must jump on top of the witch when she appears and make sure no to get launched into the ceiling after he lands back on the pots.
The Three Little Pigs: This boss fight is unique with it having 3 phases (Being each of the pigs) With their separate way to attack Mario and each taking 3 hits to defeat. Starting with the first little piggy who rolls around on the ground gaining speed every time Mario jumps on his head, Then the second little piggy who jumps from left to right in an arc that can be pretty tricky to dodge, the third little piggy zig-zags around from left to right in the arena, this can make it tricky to land a hit on the pig because the pattern of the zig-zag is quite unpredictable.
Octopus: this is the most simple boss of the game with it being able to be defeated in seconds if you try hard enough, The octopus will swim around the boss arena and spawn little octopi that swim up and off the screen, an easy boss fight overall.
Wario: the Wario fight is an amazing fight with Wario using the same powerups and moves that Mario does throughout his adventure in three phases. The first phase of the fight starts with Wario running around the boss arena and jumping at Mario causing a stunning earthquake when he lands Mario has to jump to avoid being stunned and also avoid the falling disco balls that move horizontally from the ceiling. For the second phase of the boss, Wario will use the Bunny Cap to fly into the air above Mario and once he's directly above Mario he'll fall onto the ground trying to crush Mario under his girth. In the last phase, Wario will use the Fire Flower and throw giant fireballs at Mario that travel at him in a spiral and try to run towards Mario Simply jump on his ugly head three times and he'll shrink into the little greedy jerk he is Ending the game and giving Mario his mansion back!

2023.06.03 21:21 Notabeancan Arguments against a full highlander rework
I am a rep 70 highlander main and I am personally against a full rework to his kit. I understand his lack of viability in many game modes but his incredibly high skill ceiling and techs allow him to compete at least viably in all of those game modes. He’s not intuitive however and breaks all of this games rules, I don’t see that as a bad thing since it creates an incredibly interesting character with actual expression in the way you play him. I think despite him being a shining beacon of awfulness, that he’s also a good standard for the level of skill and expression a character should have in this game. I’d much rather see slight changes to his kit instead of a huge overall. I’d recommend an increase in move speed, a dodge forward light for peal and roll catching, maybe doing something to his zone attack, maybe touching up his stamina cost in OF, and maybe giving his unblockable feint to light an actual use. With those changes we could see him move up to viable for the larger player base and still allow him to have his huge skill expression and character identity which is something we’ve recently been sacrificing to I think the detriment of this games fun in the long run.

2023.06.03 17:31 wilzxsunwileseason Gaming Build with 7800X3D & RTX 4090. 4000 USD Budget.
Greetings! Thank you for reading. Any help is appreciated!
What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
- For a friend, who hopes to play graphically demanding AAA games smoothly in 3440 x 1440 175Hz, with Ultra settings and perhaps ray tracing.
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
- Main Tower: 4,000 USD
- No peripherals or monitors needed for now.
When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ToweOS/monitokeyboard/mouse/etc)
- The main tower only. No OS, peripherals, or monitors needed for now.
Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?
- Hong Kong, no Microcenter, but we have similar retailers that provide similar products and services.
- Parts are mostly available here, but prices might differ from where you live. Please feel free to share your ideal list disregarding the local prices since they fluctuate a bit. The current budget covers this and is flexible.
- The current build costs around 4,200 USD in my area, but purchasing locally is quite necessary due to warranty restrictions, since most if not all products will not be eligible for support if I purchase them overseas. The adjusted 4,000 USD budget is based on the US prices.
If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.
- All parts except the main tower is ready.
- Monitor: Alienware AW3423DW
- Keyboard: Logitech G G913 LIGHTSPEED
- Mouse: Logitech G G903 LIGHTSPEED (with POWERPLAY)
- SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 2280, for OS
- SSD: ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 2TB PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280, for general storage
Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?
- Yes. Minor adjustments for both the CPU and GPU to squeeze out some extra performance. Efficiency and acoustics are more important. Might tinker slightly with guides and tools. Have basic understanding but not really looking to push anything to the extreme.
Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)
- Looking to have 2 2TB M.2 SSD, one for system, applications, and games, and one for general storage, which both are ready.
Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-towefull-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
- Looking for a large case with good noise isolation, maybe one with an emphasis on low noise levels. Low-noise cooling solutions. White or light grey case and parts are preferred. No fancy lighting required, but won't mind if customizable and tasteful.
Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?
Extra info or particulars:
- Looking for the max performance out of the budget, but also trying to push for a mostly-white build to a certain degree. Aiming for a balance setup that would work well together, and parts that doesn't push too far into the diminishing returns territory.
- Aiming for 64GB RAM since my friend often multitasks and uses plenty of browser tabs for reference.
- Planning to include CableMod 12VHPWR 180 Degree Angled Adapter – Variant B, CableMod Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR Cable Extension Kit, and Noctua NA-SEC1/3 chromax.black (fan extension cables), which together will cost about 100 USD.
- Admittedly this build might be a bit of an overkill, but my friend is splurging a little bit as a treat.
Draft of Potential Build:
PCPartPicker Part List
Last but definitely not least, thank you for reading my post. Would love to have some feedback and suggestions! Do share your thoughts and correct me if I made any mistakes.
Cheers!

2023.06.03 11:27 Kotkijet Preview notes for the first juvenile hurdle of the season
I AM NOT A TIPSTER. I AM NEVER A TIPSTER. NOTHING I WRITE IS EVER A TIP. THIS CONTENT IS SOLELY INTENDED TO INFORM, NEVER ADVISE HEXHAM 3RD JUNE – PREVIEW NOTES
Unless stated, all figures relate to British and Irish juvenile hurdlers since 2004/05
For context, the average strike rate (SR) across all juveniles is 9.54%, winner-runner (WR) 19.55%, improvement rate (IMP) 36.90%, clear round (CR) 96.07%, prize money per race (PMPR) £1107.31
Race History/Stats
- Traditional curtain raiser, held each year since 2008 apart from 2020
- Average winning Dis 0.89 median, 1.14 mean. Figures lower only at Chepstow and Cheltenham.
- Average winners’ seasonal RPR of 103.43 over a stone lower than standard juvenile hurdle.
- Four graduates have gone on to contest the Triumph; Simarian (1st 2008, 7th Triumph), Lindenhurst (2nd 2013, 9th Triumph), Koi Dodville (1st 2021, 11th Triumph), Rupestrian (1st 2009, PU Triumph).
- Dinarius (5th 2008), Ocean Transit (4th 2008) and Linger (UR 2016) eventually earned RPRs exceeding 130
Course Info
- Undulating, galloping, left-handed track.
- Average winning Dis of 0.89 median, 1.11 mean are 0.46 lower than average runner; greatest discrepancy of all racecourses.
- Clear round 97.24% (+1.17 cf. standard), completion rate 77.91% (-9.36 cf. standard) lower only at Southwell.
- Odds-on SR of 40% is lowest of all British courses with 10 or more qualifiers.
- No discernible pace advantage
Ground & Pace
- Good. Dry weather forecast, watering to maintain.
- Three have made running in past. Solid pace anticipated.
City Of Ruins bg Donald McCain Unraced
Nathaniel (New Approach){7-f}(0.53) 2/1 Devilment 150 2nd Anniversary Hurdle (G1), Aintree 2015 Breeding
- Nathaniel 27.5% WR, including Zanahiyr, Burning Victory and Navajo Pass. Won this race in 2019 with Green Etoile.
- Full-brother Tuddenham Green won two Juveniles last term and finsihed second in Wensleydale.
- Nephew of Devilment (2nd Anniversary) and Nasee (minor staying hurdle winner)
Source
- Cost 7,000gns as yearling at Tatts October Sale.
- Donald McCain one win from five with racecourse debutants (Sacre Pierre a three-time winner in 2021/22).
Trainer
- 38.89% WR since 2018/19.
- 12 runners without a win at Hexam, 2nd in 2018 running with Weinberg.
Summary
- Outside of Junior NH Hurdles, previously unraced juvenile hurdling debutants have a first-time-out strike-rate of just 2.35%. Nevertheless, one such winner was trained by Donald McCain and this pedigree is an especially strong one for the time of year.
Hourless bg Alan King f5-1-0 (49) 57
Time Test (Green Desert){14-c}(1.36) 3/1 Blue Bit 107 1st 2m Handicap Hurdle, Tramore 1997 Breeding
- Time Test second season, one juvenile to date; Never No Trouble r9w1 RPR91
- Green Desert below average influence in juvenile hurdles (15.79% WR damsire, 15.38% WR sire)
- Family of Kutub, Blue Bit (3/1) only winning jumper of ten+ relatives from 3rd dam.
Source
- Cost 70,000gns at last year’s Tatts Guineas Sale.
- Self-trained Alan King juveniles 51.06% WR.
- Those rated 61 or below have 15% first time strike rate. However, those rated 56 or below are only one winner from thirteen, with Proprioception’s sole win from six coming in a Southwell mares’ handicap off 92.
Trainer
- Most winners of any trainer since 2004/05, 47.13% WR, 48.57% IMP
- Three runs in this race, one win (Green Etoile 2019), one second (City Dreamer 2017)
Flat Profile
- No show on first three outings, but won handicap debut off 47 at Wolverhampton over 1m1½f.
- Raced keenly in rear off modest tempo, green under pressure but led inside final furlong winning with bit to spare.
- Raised two pounds, still green when one paced 5th last time at Bath
Summary
- Represents most successful trainer in the sphere and does have a win to his name. However, that came at a decidedly modest level and there is also a concern that he could find himself unbalanced around Hexham.
Indication Rocket bg Rebecca Menzies f9-1-2 (61) 64
Dandy Man (Rip Van Winkle){14-c}(0.71) 3/1 Rocky Wednesday 140 3rd Winning Fair Juvenile Hurdle (G2), Fairyhouse 2011 Breeding
- Dandy Man 7.14%WR, 0-12 IMP. Chatez (Alan King rated 96 on flat) only winner.
- Rip Van Winkle 0-3 as damsire, 7.69% WR as sire.
- Third dam produced useful winners Bohemian Spirit and Rocky Wednesday
Source
- 16,000gns as 2yo at Tatts Guineas Sale.
- Sole self-trained flat recruit beaten only hurdles start.
Trainer
- 62.50% Improvement rate since 2018/19 is highest in GB.
- 26.67% First time strike rate, including three such winners last term. First juvenile at Hexham.
Flat Profile
- Most experienced runner in the field courtesy of nine outings. Modest on first three starts over 6f, but has steadily improved for switch to handicaps and step up in trip.
- Runner-up in slowly run 10f Newcastle Nursery in September, off the mark penultimate outing in mile handicap off 55 at same track in early May.
- Had run of race up front, but pulled clear again when caught inside distance to win by 2½l. No subsequent winners but those out since have run to form.
- Last seen ten days later finishing third at Wolverhampton over a further furlong-and-a-half off 61. Travelled strongly but no extra when headed turning for home.
Summary
*Rebecca Menzies is a very capable trainer of juveniles who finds improvement from her charges more often than not; which is very much a positive for a horse who is only a few pounds from the top rated. However, while the damline is sound, the sire and damsire have poor records and stamina around Hexham is not assured.
Uncle Matthew bg Evan Williams f6-1-0 (65) 69
Fast Company (Manduro){13-c}(0.78) 3/1 Scriptwriter 134 5th Holloway’s Handicap Hurdle (G2,133), Ascot 2009 Breeding
- Fast Company since 2018/19; 41.18% WR, 22.73% SR (2nd highest) 64.29% IMP (5th highest)
- Manduro 3-12 WR, 62.50% IMP as damsire, 32.14% WR as sire
- Half-brother pulled up sole jumps start. Nephew of Hunter’s Light. Fourth dam produced Darshaan, along with useful jumpers Daraydan and Darialann.

- 27.97% WR, although only 9.52% since 2017/18
- 22.03% Strike rate during summer.
- Two runners in this contest; Simarian (1st 2008 – strongest juvenile graduate from contest; 1st Prestbury, 7th Triumph) Quickdrawmcgraw (2nd 2022)
Flat Profile
- Five-race 2yo campaign starting in Autumn saw him finish no closer than fourth with a BHA mark of 62.
- Made winning return in 1m3f Southwell handicap off 62; starting slowly, prominent halfway and stayed on dourly to prevail by head. Third, fourth and fifth all placed next time.
Summary
- Trainer not as prolific as he was previously, but still managed a second in this contest last year with 52 rated Quickdrawmcgraw. Pedigree is very solid, neither stamina nor attitude would be a concern, and the his Southwell win is as strong as any British form in this line-up. However, those leaving John Gosden’s often underperform when switched to hurdles.

- Made debut in February. Beaten at least eleven lengths first three outings in maidens at Southwell and Doncaster.
- Handicap debut off 56 at Southwell over 1m4f. Raced keenly with uncontested lead, headed final furlong, flashed tail under pressure. Finished 2¼l fourth of six.
Summary
- Distant relative of Tiger Roll and first-season sire not without potential. However, while best form on flat came last time out, it still leaves enough to find and her attitude was not massively encouraging.

- Waitara second least expensive of such horses, only Jilaijone lower at €10,806; won first time at Fontwell last term for same owner.
- First export of Thierry & Gaël Lemer.
Trainer
- David Pipe 46.67% WR since 2018/19 (5th highest) 38.46% SR during June.
- Last four runners in this race; Free Chakarte (1st 2022), Koi Dodville (1st 2021), Bathwick Scanno (2nd 2011), Lucky Quay (1st 2010)
Flat Profile
- Beaten by at least 12l on both outings at two, but began 3yo campaign with win in Pau 2000m claimer (retained for €11,001)
- Forgiven sixth place finish next time having missed break. Second penultimate outing; winner (2kg lighter) had run of race, stayed on well from remainder.
- Last seen winning 2100m Toulouse claimer in mid March. Broke slowly but soon in lead racing keenly. Caught at distance but responded generously for pressure; winning decisively by length and a half.
- Fifth placed finisher only subsequent winner. Nevertheless, runner-up has since been consistent in handicaps off 62. Mark in mid-high 60s would be appropriate.
Summary
- Last two runnings have gone to David Pipe trained ex-French claimers, and while Free Chakarte and Koi Dodville had slightly higher ratings, Waitara still emerges on top at these weights. Moreover, she has shown consistent form throughout 2023 and a good attitude to complement same. First-season sire yet to be tested but has perfectly reasonable credentials and the damsire and damlines are encouraging. Only concern would be a lack of form shown on ground better than soft.
Strong Prospects
- Waitara
Reasonable Prospects
- Uncle Matthew
- Indication Rocket
Feasible Prospects
- City Of Ruins
Moderate Prospects
- Hourless
- Max Of Stars
Negligible Prospects

2023.06.03 06:46 dwindlingwifi Coolant seems to be vanishing into thin air
As the title says, I have an interesting issue. My 2019 jeep Cherokee trailhawk 65k mi. coolant temp was running just a little higher than normal, around 233 nominal. And I decided to pull over and check it out. My overflow reservoir was astonishingly low, an inch or so below the minimum line. So I got some coolant and filled it up and everything seemed fine.
After getting home, checked again and coolant level was seemingly okay.
Later that night. I checked again (no driving between) and it was back to below the minimum. So I added some more to see if maybe there was air in the system that had made its way out. Didn’t drive it except to move it into the garage afterward.
The next morning. Coolant back to below the minimum
Tomorrow I plan on getting one of those pressure test kits to find a leak, but I haven’t yet found a single puddle or residue. I plan on removing the front skid plate as that may be blocking any puddle from showing up and give me a better view.
Does this sound like it could be the oil cooler failing? I have no white smoke coming from exhaust and since it seems to leak even when sitting i’m inclined to believe there’s a leak somewhere.
Any tips from someone who’s looked at this before? Thanks in advance. I’ve done repairs on my last vehicle (15 fiat 500) but this one is new to me.

2023.06.03 06:15 joe_medic Need an ego check or confidence boost, not sure which one.
I’ve got a 2019 JLUR, coming up on 100k miles, majority of them highway, and I’m getting ready for the 100k tune up.
I plan on having ALL the fluids changed out, new spark plugs, suspension checked, everything the maintenance book calls for. Dealer wants over $2k for it, other shops want around $1500-ish. So here’s my dilemma:
I consider myself a car person. I rebuilt my first car, a ‘69 Firebird, and am rebuilding my newest classic, a ‘65 Corvair Coupe. I do what maintenance I’m capable of on my Jeep and the wife’s 2017 Challenger (oil, filters, brakes, tire rotations, installed a winch and lights and a lift myself, basic to moderate-level things), and we take good care of our stuff, but “computerized” vehicles still leave me apprehensive. I never had an issue with tearing apart my classics, but the Jeep leaves me anxious getting into its guts.
Any pro-tips from those of you who do as much maintenance as you can on your JLs?

2023.06.03 04:57 nimmoisa000 Open world crime game idea Cartel: Palm City.
Developed by Hangar 13, DICE, Ripple Effect Studios, EA Gothenburg, and Criterion Games and published by EA.
Additionally former EA Black Box and Ghost Games employees who would help access game assets and code from previous NFS titles to streamline the development)
Cartel (or alternatively as “Cartel: Palm City” or "Cartel: Miami" ) would be an open world title based on the Mafia Games, the GTA games and the Saints Row games, with elements of Battlefield: Hardline thrown in with an array of weapons and vehicles based on their real life counterparts.
Gameplay wise the driving would be like Need for Speed titles, and on foot and shooting mechanics like BF: Hardline and Saints Row. Plus you can customize your cars and weapons to the same extent in BF: 2042 and some cars would allow for mounted weapons,on foot you can execute people with your equipped weapon like in The Godfather games. On foot would be an FPS view (you can change to a third person view as well) same with having an FPS view in your car.
There would an single player experience point system (like in BF Hardline single player) you gain XP from killing gangsters, and cops blowing up or capturing enemy vehicles and completing main missions, side missions and activities also there will be 15 levels to achieve with each level up unlocking new weapons, vehicles and customization for your weapons and vehicles. As well as a New Game Plus (NG+) where everything you unlocked is carried over and you can also play on the higher difficulties through NG+.
Also there would be five wanted levels for police and five vendetta levels for the gangs should you reach level five gang vendetta you start a Gang War there are three ways to stop a Gang War either bribe the feds, blow up a gang stronghold, or hide out in a safe house. Police wanted levels one and two local units would come after the player, at police wanted level two or three the state police would come after the player. At wanted level four and five the feds would come after the player. The military will only come after the player if they trespass in Fort Rockport or the Palmount Naval Shipyard
The Storyline
In Cartel: Palm City; in a different universe and timeline where there's a total prohibition of all narcotics in the United States in 2010; tells the story of Jack Rourke (the player character) a hardworking rideshare driver at day and a street racer at night who's scraping by in Palm City circa 2019. One fateful night, Jack Rourke has an inadvertent brush with the Blackwell Syndicate (mainly Carl Stoddard and that showcases a life of reward too big to ignore. As he joins the Blackwell Syndicate who are fighting for control of Palm City against five other criminal groups and take the city for the Blackwell Syndicate including recovering evidence that could not only convict the Blackwell Syndicate, as well as a network of crime lords in many countries, (including the other gang’s backers) including the Blackwell Syndicate's backers the Mob and it would also directly implicate the CIA in Palm City’s drug trade with Jack Rourke earning the nickname “El Sicario” for his efforts in driving the other gangs out of Palm City. When he learns how much the drugs were hurting the people of Palm City and all over the country as well as learning that the Blackwell Syndicate had gotten into the drug trade themselves, he contacts FBI agent Chase Linh who relays the story to her and offers the evidence and his testimony in exchange for full immunity for him and his associates, and the evidence on the computer was enough to convict everyone form all the five gangs, but also their crime lord backers from at least half a dozen countries, as well implicating the CIA in this as well as lobbying efforts to keep all narcotics prohibited, leading to a new administration repealing the Narcotics Prohibition law and legalizing low level cannabis. However six months later after the repeal of the Narcotics Prohibition Jack Rourke would be gunned down by Russian Mafia hitmen, Dimitri "Dima '' Mayakovsky and Henry "Black" Blackburn.

The Gangs of Palm City
L.S 16 (Los Salmos 16) - Also known as The Salmos. Backed by the most powerful Mexican drug lords and the most powerful arms traffickers in the world, L.S 16 once ruled all of Palm City In fear until The House stepped in. They’re also the strongest gang in the game with access to military grade weapons and vehicles and each gang kill from them awards 500-1,500 XP depending on the enemy type. They are led by Neil Roark.
The House - The House is a gambling gang with strong ties and backed by the Sicilian Mafia; they run the street scene and the casinos in Palm City. They’re pretty strong but weaker than L.S 16, and they have access to military grade weapons and vehicles each gang kills from them awards 250-800 XP depending on the enemy type. Headed by Lina Navarro.
The Volk - The Volk is a Chinese-Russian gang led by Roman Barkov with Niko Barkov as their enforcer backed by the Triads (Chan Wu), the Russian Mob (Dimitri Glebov), and GMAC's crew (Gregory "GMAC" MacDonald, Rose Largo) for cars who control the weapon smuggling and arms dealing in Palm City. With this backing and access to military grade weapons. They are a mid tier gang and each gang kill from them awards 200-600 XP depending on the enemy type. They are also the ones who go after the Blackwell Syndicate the most.
Palm Kings - The Palm Kings (PKs) is a Black gang made up of Black nationalists who controls Palm Harbor’s rackets and extorts store owners. Led by Benny King, they’re equipped with police-grade weaponry and has strong ties with the PCPD despite this, they are the second weakest gang in the game and each gang kill from them awards 150-500 XP depending if it's a regular to elite
Dixie Paladins - The Dixie Paladins are a white supremacy gang and a militarized version of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) who controls the Gold Coast Mountains in the mountainous regions of Palm City. they’re the weakest gang in the game and each gang kill from them awards 100-250 XP from regular to elite members. They are led by Tony Alpert
Blackwell Syndicate - The Blackwell Syndicate is a underground criminal organization based in Palm City and is led by Marcus Blackwell with Julian “Julius” Little as underboss, Hector Maio before "Code of Silence" and Zack Maio after "Code of Silence". Nick Mendoza. Khai Minh Dao and Carl Stoddard are caporegimes and Tyson Latchford, Tyler "Ty" Morgan, Sean "Mac" McAlister, Jessica "Jess" Miller as soldiers. Other members include Ravindra "Rav" Chaudhry as the gang's car expert Rachel Teller as the gang's customization expert, Marcus “Boomer” Boone as the gang's weapon experts. The Blackwell Syndicate would be the gang that the player would join. In Act 1, they're an outside and fast tracked to soldier, but in Act 2 the player would be a capo until the end of the game. They are secretly backed by both The Mob and the CIA through Agent Dawes. Jonathan Cross and Mia Townsend are also on the gang's payroll until "Bon Appetit" where Marcus Blackwell executes him with a 870P Magnum to the head. Also Mia would also go with Jack Rourke as well
The police/military force
PCPD - the police force of Palm City/Miami if the player does hostile acts (killing civilians, firing unsuppressed weapons in public, etc) will attract police attention and each kill from them awards 50 XP for regular members and 100 XP for armored members, However the player can bribe the PCPD to look the other way or will even help the player fight the other gangs but would be the target of higher level police forces. (Sort of like it was in The Godfather game) The player can also buy favors from them as well. Also they’ll deploy stronger units at higher heat level alongside the FBI. The cars PCPD drives are the Ford Crown Victoria, Dodge Challenger, Pontiac GTO, and the Chevy Grand Sport
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) - The state police force and Only appears in wanted levels 3 and above, Each kill from them awards 75 XP for regular state troopers and 150 XP for tactical state troopers. Regular state troopers drives Ford Mustang GTs tactical state troopers drives Nissan GT-R
FBI - Only appears in wanted level 5 the FBI will be called in if the player continues to retaliate against the PCPD. Each kill from them awards 125 XP for regular agents, 250 XP for FBI SWAT and 375 XP for FBI HRT, Like the PCPD the player can bribe the FBI to look the other way, or even help the player fight gangs, or the PCPD but at the second highest price. The FBI also has the second widest array of favors the player can buy. regular agents drives the Nissan 350Z or Porsche 911 GT3 RS, FBI SWAT drives the - Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster or Ford F-150 SVT Raptor L.E. and FBI HRT drives the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X or Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR
Military - Only goes after the player if they trespass in Fort Rockport or the Palmount Naval Shipyard. Each kill from them awards 200 XP for regs, 400 XP for experienced troops and 600 XP for elite troops. Like the PCPD, State Police and the FBI, the player can bribe the military to look the other way, or even help the player fight gangs, the PCPD, State Police or even the FBI but at the highest price and The military also has the widest array of favors the player can buy in large part due to Agent Dawes’ connections in Washington.
Multiplayer portion of the game would take place during the five cartels war where the Blackwell Syndicate, The Volk, Palm Kings, Dixie Paldines, Los Salmos 16, and The House (basically where Jack Rourke glosses over saying "It was non-stop chaos for weeks")
Also there would be a free ride mode where the player can explore the city at their leisure or pick a fight with either other cartels or the cops.

2009 Dodge Ram 1500 coolant is below minimum. Prestone Prime 50/50 says it can be mixed with all coolants in all vehicles. Taking the truck to the shop next week and will have him check the coolant system and flush/refill. Is there any harm in mixing the Prime with whatever mystery coolant is already in my truck if just for a week?

2023.06.03 01:24 Fabiann_02 can you possibly solve this or provide insight? (Long) (Very interesting case)
First and last post here!
This may be a long read, but I truly, truly appreciate it if everyone would stick around and add their insight to this.
Background: 21 male, 5'10, Caucasian (Scottish, Slovakian, French) Location: Canada
I have 2 sisters, 2 nephews, and 1 niece, which is important to factor in, and I'll explain why briefly.
When I was just little used to light up bright red only on my face and neck typically only in stressful or public situations (terrible social anxiety), it wasn't itchy, just hot and red and I would sweat a lot. According to my mom (54), she used to get the same thing in front of people but eventually grew out of it.
Now regarding my niece and nephews, they also get red in the face and have trouble regulating body temperature but not due to any type of anxiety, as it stands we could call it idiopathic and it resembles Lupus or maybe rosacea however - my oldest nephew also has some skin problems and my youngest often gets fevers and hives from many things but treats it with things like advil.
The above is important in MY case I believe because when I was around 13 I was put on 20mg of cipralex (2014), in October 2019 (17) I went into anaphylaxis for the first time due to amoxicillin which I took due to sinus congestion (mom also has chronically) and I had it lying around from a previous infection, the anaphylaxis scared me into not taking any medication so I abruptly cut down my cipralex and for some reason believed I wouldn't need them anymore.
After doing this, I one day woke up with the most severe depersonalisation and derealisation anyone could ever have alongside a gross number of other discontinuation symptoms which lasted over 3 months and eventually subsided after reinstating 10-15mg of the same medication, the most IMPORTANT part of this is I had developed Tinnitus and anisacoria after this AND I couldn't take the meds anymore because I developed symptoms of seratonin toxicity so I had to get off all together and just deal with it.
Fast forward to 2021-2022 and now things are serious, my body is behaving terribly since I've changed things up and it's worth mentioning that the rash / redness I used to only get on my face and neck had began to progress down to my chest and eventually to my legs but it's not itchy and only happens in the sun, in stressful situations/ conditions. That's the least of it, I began getting constipated by almost ALL foods and chicken and rice were my only tolerable foods (until they weren't), I wasn't getting rashes but it's like I developed this hypersensitivity in the signals from my stomach, it began feeling tight and caused me to be severely constipated for over 33 days (not exaggerated), my blood sugar was 1.3, you could say I was intolerant to almost everything but not allergic.
This is where things got weird, at this point I've seen almost all of the BEST specialists in Canada and been to the best hospitals which costed me a lot of money that I just happened to coincidentally have (now I don't) and a lot of time, as I mentioned I had been extremely constipated UNTIL I received saline solution VIA IV injection overnight, I got home a day later and had the most excruciatingly painful poop ever and it was disgusting - I know it was from the saline IV because this happened more than once and that was the only thing I was issued other than the mix of vitamins (Please explain this if possible!)
Now, I got the blockage out and still continued to have serious issues and kept myself near the hospitals (in Toronto), I had more needle holse in my arm than any addict ever (painful) due to the amount of blood work done but now I was down to 98 lbs from 184 (I was kind of overweight prior to all of this) and I had given up so I decided (f it, I'll have what I want) and started to intake calories again by what I thought was healthier (Boba, cauliflower bites etc) than what I used to have thankfully toronto had these options.
Anyway, this is what leads us to the most current circumstances/ situation - everything I ate / eat lots of carbs, sugar or fibre my body temperature increases and I get really gassy, my veins dilate massively, I become lethargic, low blood pressure and I have a red face BUT when I take things like vitamin C, D, Zinc, Dandelion, Burdock Root, Reishi (yes I taught myself natural medicine because I had to), the symptoms reverse BUT I get this 'tight' feeling in my stomach which is why I describe the whole hypersensitivity thing because I can feel almost everything. I get the tightness, the gas gets trapped, and my body temp decreases.
Now I'll give a brief on the important tests I've done due to suspicions I and few doctors had about specific diseases: HATS(tryptase and genes), MASTOCYTOSIS(c-kit), POLYCYTHEMIA VERA (jak 2), LEUKEMIA (bcr-abl), MYELOPROLIFERATIVE NEOPLASMS(calr), PORPHYRIA, ANEMIA (MANY TYPES), C3, C4, CRP, INR, ANTI DNA, LEUKOCYTES, PROTEIN (urine), IMMUNOGLOBULINS, THYROID ANTIBODIES AND FUNCTION, DOUBLE STRAND ANTIBODIES, RHUMATOID FACTOR (10 >14), VITAMIN D,MRI'S, CT'S(brain amd stomach), ECHO'S, ULTRASOUNDS (of everything), ALLERGY SKIN TESTING, SERATONIN(urine) and maybe more that I didn't see.
The results that were 'positive' and stood out + dates discovered:
•Thyroglobulin antibodies >184 (2023) •Thyroperoxidase antibodies >135 (2023) •C3 >89 (2021) •Bilirubin >30 (2021) •Albumin >53 (2021) •Urate >192 (2021) •Between 2021-2022, at my worst, I had consistently low wbc and neutrophils, whether from malnutrition or something else. I'm unsure •Sinus arythmia (2021) •Slight pericardial effusion (2022) •Head CT w/o contrast >scattered bilateral white matter lesions on brain? (2021) •Renal / Abdominal ultrasound >Mild hydronephrosis (2021) •Cardiac / Abdominal ultrasound >Trace right pluerual effusion, pericardial effusion, hydronephrosis (2021) •Spinal x-rays and mri's >consistent disc degeneration (2019-2023) and idiopathic thoracic scoliosis. •Endoscopy and colonoscopy >Clear (2022-2023) •Abdominal CT with contrast >jujenum distention and embelical hernia (2023) •Swollen lymph nodes in my neck simultaneously to rash (2023) •Idiopathic scoliosis (2014) •Undigested food in stool (2020-2023) •Heat rash from the sun (2020-2023) •Dermatographism (Childhood - now)
Very few food allergies or allergies all together. Dad had Graves disease Mom's mom has hashimotos Mom gets bumps from the sun Nephews get frequent fevers and hives (unexplained currently) Other nephews have red cheeks and nosebleeds frequently Niece has red cheeks frequently and is insensitive to extreme cold or heat My oldest sister has non celiac gluten intolerance Younger sister has bipolar and systemic Cystitis No other info
Test I've NOT had: TNF-A plasma levels Il-1 through il-6 Skin biopsy Bone marrow biopsy
I've ran my own dna test from 23 and me through several third party companies and didn't find anything serious or relating other than what I've already been diagnosed with (ectodermal dysplasia) which Noone else in my immediate family seems to have - I've been over my family history as much as possible and nothing alike OTHER THAN my mom, sister, niece and nephews have somewhat similar symptoms EXCEPT FOR the odd stomach sensations like the tightness or the joint problems.
For context, the ONLY drug use history: Smoked Marijuana when I was 13 a few times Drank hard liquor a few times between the ages 13-16 (bad, I know) and regularly drank red wine for a while when I was 17 prior to the reactions. I also want to mention that I had some very, very hard environmental circumstances during my childhood years that were out of my control as well, which contributed to the 'anxiety'.
Through all of this, I had many doctors blaming anxiety, even sending me to see psychiatrist when in reality I was a scared kid - this started when I was 18 (mostly) and I have no reason to make anything up AT ALL, this has been a long, uncomfortable, near death for a while, isolating situation. I'm dying to know what's going on and I haven't given up, I've had one person be there with me through the entirety of this and they know good and well it's not like me, all of that just made things worse but I understand.
I used to be into modifying cars (i had 4 already), boxing, weight lifting, bmxing, jogging, etc.
Yet people still thought I simply went mad.
The ONLY relief I've had through this is when I did strict carnivore diet, had the sedation for my colonoscopy AND when I ate a Scotch bonnet pepper - it relived everything for about 30 seconds (oddly) and I kid you not, I'm not sure the mechanism behind these things but they're which makes me think it's neurological? Nothing has remissed me to my old self completely.
I've also taken several different medications, including (mostly under the suspicions of mast cell disease) •Prednisone •Diphenhydramine •Famitodine •Ceterizine •Compounded cromolyn Sodium •Compounded hydroxyzine •Aspirin •Alka seltzer A few more I can't remember None of which provided relief and had rather strange side effects such as clicking in my jaw and tight stomach. +Meditation, Chiropractors, Accupresure etc.
Main symptoms: •Gassy 24/7 no matter what! •On empty stomach (after colonoscopy prep, for example). My stomach was burning but no gas. •Increased body temp on an empty stomach (100+) •Increased body temp (external), lethargy, shortness of breath, diarrhoea(at worst) typically from carbs even healthy ones, caffeine (dark chocolate & green tea), empty colon, external heat and now from almost everything. •'Tight' stomach sensation or squeezing from specific substances / supplements and decreased external body temperature. •Bones or joints popping / cracking too much •Tinnitus •Unequal pupils size (anisacoria)
NOTE: I become lethargic / fatigued and weak when my body temperature increases and my veins get larger.
When I take/ took said supplements (vitamin D, C, Zinc , Reishi, Turkey tail) My finger nails actually used to go purple at the same time my stomach felt tight and my body temp decreased and gave me some energy.
NOTE: My joints have been consistently popping and cracking more frequently than before, too, regardless of my nutrition or supplements.
As you can probably tell, I'm pretty desperate for ideas, I am / was supposed to have my whole genome sequenced and be reffered to a geneticist weather or not that's actually happening but until then, I need to hear from the community what I can do, I don't think I can get to the U.S either if that's even necessary.
I'm not here pity, I'm just messed up from all of this and appreciate any ideas from any individuals.
My ideas (neurological / hypothalamic disorder? thyroid disorder? Increased TNF? Metabolic acidosis?)
Thank you very much for reading this far and taking the time to think over this if you have! I really appreciate it!.
The only 'good' that has come from this from my perspective is that I learned an abundance about body functions, natural health, psychology, and I was capable of making a few books out of it. None of it has been easy and I wish I could feel 'normal' again, I don't care if some doctors disbelieve me anymore, I know it's hard to figure out due to clean looking tests but I couldn't be more serious.

2023.06.03 00:49 CactusMike95 Survivor Series 2023: Firestorm Booking
No.1 Contender Tag Turmoil match
Build
Adam Pearce makes a match to decide who will take on Sami and KO on their respective show. The participants include Alpha Academy, Valhalla, Imperium, Brawling Brutes, Pretty Deadly and a NXT Wildcard.
(The NXT Wildcard is decided in a fatal four way tag won by The Creed Brothers)
Match
The match kicks off with Alpha Academy vs Valhalla. Valhalla overpowers Gable who begins the match for his team. After a miscommunication from Vahalla, Gable is able to get a hot tag onto Otis. Otis lays out both members of Vahalla and gets ready for the Caterpillar onto fellow legal man, Erick. Before he can hit it however he is attacked by Ivar who clotheslines himself and Otis over the top rope. After this the ref points to Chad who enters the ring but is quickly attacked by Erick. Chad then rolls up Erick for the quick pin and wins. The announcers are confused until they see an instant replay of Chad tagging himself in as Otis went over the top rope.
The next entrants in the match are Pretty Deadly. The two handsome fellas come out of the crowd attacking a wounded Chad Gable. Otis (after being helped up by Maxxine) jumps in the ring and evening the score. Otis throws both Pretty Deadly members out of the ring, then stands on the apron. Chad then rises and tags in Otis. Gable then does a suicide dive onto both Elton Prince and Kit Wilson. He then throws Elton into the ring and tags in Otis, who hits a Caterpillar onto Elton for the 1.2.3
The next team to enter are The Creed Brothers. They come out to the ring and have a classic wrestling match with Alpha Academy. The two teams show respect for one another while they show their amateur wrestling acumen. With Gable still nursing injuries from his previous 2 matches. Towards the end of the match, The Creed’s isolate Gable once again. They pick apart the leader of Alpha Academy as Otis is forced to watch on. Gable gains a moment of rest after a big german suplex onto Julius. Chad then gets the hot tag to Otis who clears house until being picked apart by the Creeds. The Creeds lift Otis up for the big finish but Chad makes the save pushing Julius off the top and hitting Butch with a German. This leaves Butch in the ring with Otis allowing the big man to hit another Caterpillar for the win.
The next team is Imperium who show zero sympathy for Alpha Academy. They systematically beat down both Otis and Chad with neither man showing any quit. Once Chad becomes the legal man Imperium begins to dominate the match. Otis looks on with a sad look watching his friend be torn apart by Imperium. Finally after minutes of agonizing pain, Otis throws in the towel ending the match and Chad’s suffering.
The final team to enter the match is Brawling Brutes; they immediately begin to brawl with Imperium. The ref attempts to separate the two rival teams to no use. Finally some order is restored when Ridge and Giovanni fight to the outside and up the ramp. This leaves Butch and Ludwig in the ring. After a quick back and forth, Butch seems to have Ludwig ready for the Bitter End. When Ludwig scratches Butch’s eyes, rolling him up for the 1.2.3 Imperium will meet Sami and KO on RAW.
Roman Reigns vs LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Championship
Build
On the main event of the Smackdown after Extreme Rules(A show that didn’t feature Roman Reigns) LA Knight, (A man who has gained a cult following in recent months with great selling T shirts and YEAH becoming an ever popular phrase) is seen in the ring with a microphone “Extreme Rules was a good show (Crowd exclaims YEAH) but something important was missing. The missing piece to the puzzle was our World Champ, Roman Reigns (The crowd rains down boos at the mention of his name) Roman is an interesting case of nepotism… YEAH, because no matter what he did for years he couldn’t gain the admiration of the WWE universe. Hell, I’m a douche and it took me a month… YEAH. The top brass in this company wanted him to succeed for years but he never took off…until he took advantage of his family. Well I got to thinking that sounds like a great idea. YEAH. So I decided I’d use MY family to get what I want YEAH. (LA Knight walks to the barricade telling some front row fans to jump after a bit the ring is full of fans) Now Roman Reigns, I challenge your boring ass to a WWE Championship match. YEAH. (Roman appears on the titantron and says) “The fans may love you Eli, but the fans loved Cody too and you saw what happened to him. You're nothing more than a catchphrase. But I accept your challenge”(Roman turns to Paul) “This will be the easiest match yet.” LA Knight responds with “I might just be a catchphrase… but at least it's a good one. YEAH!!!!! (The men and women inside the ring respond with a loud YEAH) The show goes off the air as they exchange YEAHS.
The two men exchange verbal blows throughout the build with Roman dismissing Knight as a fad. Knight continues to gain support from the fans despite his cocky tendencies. This culminates in a contract signing on the go-home Smackdown. Where LA Knight jumps an unexpecting Roman putting him through the table to a large pop.
Match
The match begins how you’d expect with Roman taking control. Roman overpowers the popular Knight as the crowd keeps Knight in the match. Throughout the match, Roman attempts to cockily pin LA after non finishers to no avail as the crowd continues to keep their favorite in the match. Towards the end of the match, Knight reverses a Superman Punch into a big roll up. 1.2…kickout Roman spears Knight. 1.2…kick out the crowd loses it as Roman does the same. Roman begins laying in punches on LA Knight over and over again until the ref pulls the tribal chief off of Knight. Roman then gets ready for another Superman punch but is caught by the Gravy Train. The crowd explodes with excitement as LA Knight pins Roman.. 1, 2… Roman kicks out. Knight looks devastated as he gets ready for the big elbow drop. He gets his foot grabbed by Heyman. This allows Roman to connect with a final spear. 1, 2, 3… Roman Reigns retrains again, much to the chagrin of the sold out crowd.

Through the remainder of the build, the two crush all opposition on the way to facing one another.

Then, on the go home Smackdown before Survivor Series, Adam Pearce announces that one more person has been added to the championship scramble match. Austin asks who. Adam tells him to turn around. When he does, he gets a big right hand from Grayson Waller.
Austin Theory: Austin Theory has been a dick throughout the build, causing anyone he’s crossed paths with to hate him. This results in an almost unwinnable situation for Austin Theory.

Shemaus hits Austin with a Brogue Kick. Shemaus pins Austin. 1, 2, 3.. Shemaus has become the interim US Champion. He then throws Theory out of the ring (despite Austin not being eliminated). That’s when Austin Theory rolls up AJ Styles!.. 1, 2, 3.. Theory becomes interim champ. Then Shemaus Brogue Kicks Austin Theory, pins him.. 1, 2, 3.. Shemaus is now interim champ. Then Grayson Waller rolls up Shemaus, grabs the tights.. 1, 2, 3.. Waller is interim champ. Grayson celebrates but accidentally backs up into Austin Theory, who hits him with an A Town Down.. 1, 2, 3.. Theory is interim champ. Angelo Dawkins then spears Austin Theory and pins him.. 1, 2.. It’s broken up by a Frog Splash by Montez Ford, who pins Austin Theory.. 1, 2, 3.. As the timer hits zero, Ford becomes permanent champ! Montez celebrates as Angelo shoots him a cold look.

She says, “You’re a great competitor, but I can make you even better. Take my hand and you can be something special.” Iyo looks at her hand, looks at Asuka, and she slaps Asuka across the face and says, “All I need is ME!” Asuka then sprays the mist in Iyo’s face, causing temporary blindness as she locks in the Asuka Lock.
Over the next few weeks, Asuka shows zero mercy towards Iyo, attacking her at all turns, frequently using a pipe wrench. Iyo, however, refuses to use weapons, instead wanting to beat Asuka mono y mono.

Sami, Seth, and Kevin seem to weather the storm until Rhea Ripley gets involved. Judgement Day begins to take control when Becky Lynch’s music hits. She comes down to the ring with a chair, saving her husband and his two tag partners.
In the following weeks, the two groups continue to brawl until the only way to contain them is a War Games Match.
Match
Becky demands to be first for her group while Damian Priest is first for Judgement Day. Damian Priest second guesses going after Becky allowing Becky to hit him with a Man Handle Slam. The next entrant is for the Judgement Day. It’s Rhea Ripley. She tells Damian to back off as she begins to dominate Becky. The next entrant is Kevin Owens. He comes into the ring and stuns both Damian and Rhea Ripley. The score is now even with Rhea and Damian vs Kevin and Becky. The next man to enter is Dominik. He comes in with a pair of brass knuckles, hitting Kevin, then allowing Rhea to hit Becky with them. This allows the Judgement Day to dominate Kevin and Becky. The next person to come in is Seth. This levels the playing field; three on three. The last member to enter for the Judgement Day is Finn. He comes in to aide his team by taking the attack to his rival, Seth. Finally, the last man to enter the match is Sami Zayn. He hits the Helluva Kick on all four members of the Judgement Days. Now, pinning can commence. The two teams go all out until only two men are left standing.. Finn Balor and Seth Rollins. The two go blow for blow, with neither man giving up. Out of nowhere, Rhea comes up behind Seth, low blows him and hits him with a Riptide. Finn climbs to the top of the cage to hit a Coop De Grace on Seth, but Becky pulls her husband out of the way. She hits Finn with a Man Handle Slam, then Rhea. She then pins Finn to win the match for her team!

2023.06.02 22:40 Icekoopa Post Beta Tierlist
I think I'm in the position to make a somewhat accurate tierlist and wanted so see peoples takes on the characters. I played around 205 matches in the beta and was ranked around 450 btw. I also made the list to really gather my thoughts about the balance of the characters as i switched my opinion a lot in the couple days of playing.
What do the Tiers mean? S-Tier = Strong character that outperforms almost every other character
A-Tier = Good balanced character
B-Tier = Slightly weak character that is still able to get wins consistently, but has to struggle more then S or A Tier characters and might run into problems.
C-Tier = Weak characters that gets outperformed by most characters.
F-Tier = They just suck
?-Tier = No Ranking
The tiers are are also sorted by strength btw.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
S-tier
Character | Pros | Cons |
Tenya | best mobility in game, endless flying exploit, good dmg combos, can save mates somewhat reliable, hard to hit and even harder to finish, is able to carry save mates, counter to shigaraki | Seems to struggle against dodge spamming, gets hard countered by dabi |
Tsuyu | very good mobility, good dmg combos, second best save in game, hard to hit and even harder to finish, hard counter to shigaraki | Seems to struggle against dodge spamming |
Side note: Those 2 were the ones, that got to the final battles and won the most matches at the end of the beta in my experience. Both have insane pressure on land and air while also being hard to hit/kill. Both can also help mates live another day. A-tier
Character | Pros | Cons |
Bakugo | good mobility, allrounder with good ranged and close options. Very good dmg potential, is able to hit trough walls, counter to shigaraki | very good dmg, but besides that jack of all trades master of none, flying cooldown is large |
Uraraka | very good mobility even the second best with gravity, super good brawler with her B ability (beyblade), is able to capture enemys in air for a good amount of time with Y, hard to hit and even harder to finish, hard counter to shigaraki | One trick character that uses her B most of the time. Low level B sucks. Y is hard to hit and doesn't auto reset for a while (or never I'm not sure). |
Deku | very similiar to bakugo good mobility, allrounder with good ranged and close options. Very good dmg potential, can stun with duck shot, is able to carry save mates, counter to shigaraki | very good dmg, but besides that jack of all trades master of none, whip cooldown is large, neutral whip doesn't do dmg and doesen't always work perfectly, gets slightly outperformed by bakugo imo |
Shigaraki | best damage in game, best cc on ground, best aoe dmg, hits health directly with grab and can kill people trough PU often, item generator, can wipe out complete teams alone if the terrain allows it, really good end game | All in All ground god, but almost completely useless on difficult terrain, difficult start because of horrible low level abilities, gets hard countered by top tier characters like tenya, tsuyu, uraraka, bakugo and deku because shigaraki has no vertical pressure |
Side note: All of them are great choices. They only struggle against tsuyu and tenya. Shigaraki could also have been at the very top of A-Tier or maybe even S, because of how strong his ground game is. I choose not to put him there, because of his huge terrain dependecy, strong counters and his horrible early game, that makes him to inconsistent at winning finals. He is either insane or leaves his team hanging. B-Tier
Character | Pro | Con |
Toga | good dmg projectiles, instant kill on downed enemys therefore good counter against tsuyus revive and other saves, can transform into tenya or tsuyu, interrupts a lot with projectiles, refreshed abilities after transformation, diverse kit because of transform, CUTE AS FUCK "level up desu~" | mobility is completely reliant on her knife rush, bad mobility, lack luster kit that needs to switch to other characters, knife rush bad tracking on low levels, slow start up until she gets a useful transform |
Mt. Lady | very good dmg, huge potential in thick mode aka being big, hyper armor queen, kick covers a lot distance, can fight multiple people in thick mode, can cover mates in thick mode, can chase certain characters in thick mode, really good end game, item generator | Struggles a lot with multiple teams fighting her but also is extremely visible and easy to hit in thick mode, dies easily in thick mode if enemys target her, bad mobility, lack of long ranged attacks |
Shoto | very good dmg, potential to stack dmg while frozen, can cover a lot of distance with ice, can build walls, special stuns like togas knifes, good range | lack of vertical mobility, struggles a lot on difficult terrain, very predictable ice wall, very predictable escape route |
Allmight | good dmg, hyper armor king, can jump, can carry save mates, hits projectiles more reliable then others, great solo potential | biggest hitbox in game combined with long animation abilities that leave him right open, not terrible movement but also not the best by far |
Side note: Toga is only so high, becuase of the potential of 2 tenyas or tsuyus in 1 team. Mt. Lady could be better if she wasn't such a huge ez target in thick mode. She and allmight really struggle with staying alive than other characters. C-Tier
Character | Pro | Con |
Dabi | auto tracking, some cc potential, great at securing high ground, is ez to carry save becuase of his fire wall while downed, an ironic hard counter to tenya | lowest damage in game especially his super low dmg projectiles (35dmg per shot on lvl1 and 62 on lvl9, which is lower than lvl1 deku/bakugo/mt. lady (70/70/80dmg) shots), his kit can be completely avoided by keeping distance, is outmatched by every projectile character, fire wall is super short, not a lot of charges on abilities, worst movement in game, also his cc potential is nothing compared to shigaraki |
Mr. Compress | can carry mates, good dmg on high lvls | shield is very easy to avoid by not shooting or using attacks that go around shield, shield sucks at close distances and his projectiles suck at long distances the combination is horrible, his get away is extremely stationary and has a super long animation, literally gets outmatched by other characters in every way possible besides team mobility |
Side note: The "get outmatched by almost everyone"-Tier. These 2 boys need to be looked at by the dev team. They either need changed kits or some major buffs. F-Tier
Character | Pro | Con |
Kendo | can throw mates, does a lot of dmg with projectiles and clap, is pretty mobile while blocking | clap is super inconsistent and even misses on non moving targets, has no range at all, shield has the same struggles as Mr. C, you are just a burden to your team bro just don't pick her, love her in the show but she sucks here |
Side note: Hope she gets buffed first. ?-Tier Didn't play denki much and I just can't rank cementos. He seems to have potential to an S-Tier in theory, but I haven't seem anyone pull it of, because of his huge skill curve. He also has the best save in game.

2023.06.02 22:34 MadelineWuntch Defending The Draft: Denver Broncos
When unfortunate sporting historians of the future look back on the Denver Broncos 5-win 2022 NFL season there will be a lot said of Mr Unlimited’s rather limited performances and Nathaniel’s inability to hack it as a head coach and rightly so.
However, I think it’s important to at least mention the Broncos strange love affair with the medical room. 21 players took a trip to IR, multiple key starters fell victim to season ending injuries including Tim Patrick, Garett Bolles and Javonte Williams.
And in spite of all of the depressing dog doo-doo the Broncos lost by a single score an astounding 8 times. So that’s something right?
Moving into 2023, General George Paton hired his alternate namesake and former Saints Head Coach Sean Payton for the princely sum of pick 29 in the 2023 NFL Draft (Denver also sent a 2nd rounder in 2024 and received a 3rd rounder in 2024).
Only a few weeks after the appointment of Sean Payton the NFL entered its Free Agency period which led to some big changes at Mile High.
15 players were let go to sign elsewhere around the league but not an awful lot in terms of quality.
Dre’Mont Jones, DE - Seattle Seahawks (3 year, $51 Million) Dre’mont grew into a solid contributor for Denver but I’m glad the Broncos didn’t re-sign him for the money Seattle has. By far the most talented to leave the team in free agency but only a very slight miss.
Calvin Anderson, T - New England Patriots (2 year, $7 Million) Not a splashy name by any means but Anderson knew his role and performed well when called upon, A solid backup with starter experience.
Andrew Beck, FB/TE - Houston Texans (2 year, $6.25 Million) Beck is another reliable contributor who seems to have joined a number of former Broncos in moving to Houston recently. A former Salute to Service Award winner.
Mike Boone, RB - Houston Texans (2 year, $3.1 Million) Boone is a fantastic option to have for Special Teams play, however he lacks real quality when running the ball. There was optimism when he initially signed in Denver but that appears to have fallen to the wayside as he moves on rather silently.
Graham Glasgow, G - Detroit Lions (1 year, $2.75 Million) The Broncos offensive line has been offensive to watch for years. Glasgow however has been one of the bright spots, especially when he played at centre at parts in 2022.
Brandon McMacus, K - Jacksonville Jaguars (1 year, $2 Million) The last member of the Super Bowl 50 winning team has left Dove Valley. In a somewhat surprising but expected move if you look at his declining performances Denver only recently moved on from McManus. It was the right time but it sure is a sad sight to see.
De’Shawn Williams, DE - Carolina Panthers (1 year, $1.75 Million) Losing both Jones and Williams is a slight concern in terms of depth. Although Williams isn’t as productive as his former teammate he’s certainly a steal for the Panthers as a rotational/back up. He’s arguably serviceable as a starter as well and knows the defensive staff in Carolina very well.
Eric Saubert, TE - Miami Dolphins (1 year, $1.68 Million) I forgot Eric was even on the team, his receiving qualities aren’t much to go crazy for with 15 recs and 148 yards on a career best 2022 season and his run blocking isn’t fantastic either albeit it is his stronger game.
Billy Turner, T - New York Jets (1 year, $1.5 Million) Billy was a sad loss back in 2018 when he first left for Green Bay. However he couldn’t really get started and spent large parts of the season on IR.
Latavius Murray, RB - Buffalo Bills (1 year, $1.3 Million) Latavius is the biggest loss for Denver in my opinion. The only member of the team who showed passion, drive and self respect throughout his short lived time in Colorado. The Bills have a solid contributor who will definitely fit the pound the rock ethos.
Chase Edmonds, RB - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1 year, $1.1 Million) We never got to see what Chase could do in Denver and maybe that’s a good thing if his seasons with Miami are anything to go by. I’m sure he’ll do well in Tampa’s pass heavy offence as a backup catching back.
Eric Tomlinson, TE - Free Agent Most of you have probably never heard of Eric Tomlinson and there's a good reason for that. He’s also still without a team after signing with the Texans for 15 days back in March.
Darius Phillips, CB - Houston Texans (1 year, $1 Million) Darius got a few snaps on defence but spent most of his time on special teams, a rather average contributor by any metric but does have a fair amount of starting experience in the league.
Brett Rypien, QB - Los Angeles Rams (1 year, $1 Million) Broncos fans love this guy. He’s not good at football in a practical sense and he’s likely not going to help the Rams secure any wins but he’s a really smart dude and most likely a future coach. Not to mention its fun to say “Let ‘Em Ryp” if he does ever play.
Corliss Waitman, P - New England Patriots (1 year, $1 Million) There is no chance this man will be playing for the Patriots in 2023. Punting for Denver should be quite easy compared to most of the league but Waitman set out to prove us all wrong on that one. Easily the worst punter I’ve seen in Denver for a good few years.
Lamar Jackson, CB - Kansas City Chiefs (1 year, $1 Million) Lamar didn’t really get an opportunity to feature in Denver, I’m fairly sure he’ll be a camp body in KC as well so there’s not much to add on this one.
Although we let a lot of players leave, I think we managed to re-sign the most important of all the players with contracts expiring.
Alex Singleton, MLB (3 year, $18 Million) I’m telling you now, this man is elite. His season started a little slow but he came to town with 21-tackles (19 solo) against Divisional Rivals the LA Chargers. He did a similar thing in week 15 vs the Rams where he totalled another 20 tackles.
Overall I think Singleton is starting to peak and turn into a real force in this league.
Kareem Jackson, S (1 year, $1.3 Million) Kareem has far exceeded the expectations Broncos fans had for him when he joined from Houston in 2019. Initially as a corner and later taking over a strong safety Jackson has been brilliant, his heavy hitting style has made him a fan favourite and I’m pleased to see him back yet again.
Cameron Fleming, T (1 year, $2.3 Million) Fleming was a decent enough back up for the team in 2022 that unfortunately ended up starting more than everyone would have wanted. He’s a great depth addition to bring back, let's hope it remains a depth option though.
With so many departures comes a long list of new faces for the Broncos. 13 new players joined in free agency and whilst some are better than others there’s certainly been a clear direction that Sean Payton is heading in. big men, very big men.
Mike McGlinchey, RT - (5 year, $87.5 Million) I’ve been a big McGlinchey fan since the days of his nasty Notre Dame O-Line, where he lined up alongside Quenton Nelson. Mike’s play for the 49ers whilst good has had some rather concerning points with his lack of success vs speed rushers being the overwhelmingly obvious. We’re reaching a point where McGlinchey is living off of his college performances much like Jadeveon Clowney is still renowned for “the hit”. I do believe mcGlinchey will look like a hall of famer in comparison to every Broncos Right Tackle of the past 10 years and I do believe he’ll be successful in what the Broncos want to do which is run the ball down your throat. Denver has stability at both tackle positions and that’s only going to be a positive.
Ben Powers, G - (4 year, $52 Million) The quickest path to the quarterback is the straightest. It’s important Wilson is protected from the interior of his pocket and Ben certainly has powers in that department. I don’t think it would be an understatement to call Ben Powers elite in pass pro and whilst his run blocking seems to be improving it's not fantastic. Nonetheless I think this is very similar to the McGlinchey situation where we’ve slightly overpaid but the team will have a massive upgrade at Guard.
Zach Allen, DE - (3 year, $45.75 Million) I like Allen but the concern for me here is this past year was a career year for him, and with such a small sample size of good but not elite play I struggle with the idea that he will repeat his 2022 success in 2023. His contract doesn’t appear to be overly friendly either with $19 Million in 2024 cap scheduled in the books along with half of his 2025 salary guaranteed as well.
I don’t think he’ll be a bad signing, his familiarity with DC and former Broncos HC Vance Joseph will be a good thing but for the 3rd signing in a row, and perhaps the most egregious the Broncos have overpaid for their man.
Jarrett Stidham, QB (2 year, $10 Million) I like this move a lot, Stidham is a high end back up who can provide enough of a threat to Russ that he can win games in Denver if called upon. In reality he’s a backup but a back up you can certainly have confidence in.
Chris Manhertz, TE (2 year, $6 Million) I liked the Stidham signing, I love the Manhertz signing. He’s not flashy and he isn’t going to show up anywhere with big stats, however Manhertz has consistently been an elite blocking tight end for years and its players like him that make the difference on short yardage situations.
Samaje Perine, RB (2 year, $7.5 Million) This seems to be another Sean Payton inspired move. Initially Perine was never thought of as a back who could catch out of the backfield but his year spent with Cool guy Joe Burrow in Cincinnati has shown he’s more than capable of being that guy. Working in a committee alongside Javonte Williams should bring success to this lifeless Denver offense in 2023.
Michael Burton, FB (1 year, $1.3 Million) Burton has played for Sean Payton before and that will be incredibly useful for obvious reasons. Burton has been a blocking fullback for most of his career but has shown the ability to run and catch when called upon. I like this move and its a clear upgrade on Beck.
Tremon Smith, CB/Returner (2 year, $5 Million) If Smith is only going to be a returner then I think Denver have once again overpaid for a player coming off a bad year in a position declining in value. I do think Smith can rebound and have the type of year he’s been having since 2018. Not to mention there isn’t a chance Smith can be anywhere near as bad as Montrell Washington had been in 2022.
Riley Dixon, P (2 year, $3.5 Million) Riley was drafted by Denver in 2016 before being traded to the Giants a few years down the line. Despite the advantageous altitude in Denver, Dixon wasn’t a very good punter for the team in his 2 seasons. However, in a move that shows how bad this team really has been Dixon will still be a big improvement over Corliss Waitman and thus this needs to be considered an upgrade.
Marquez Callaway, WR (1 year, $1.1 Million) Former Sean Payton disciple Callaway reuniting in Denver is a good thing from my perspective. During Payton’s last season in New Orleans Callaway managed to put up 6 touchdowns in 46 receptions. The Broncos have a busy WR room but its a room that is yet to be healthy together so this move makes sense from all angles.
Kyle Fuller, C (1 year, $1.1 Million) I don’t expect Fuller to see the field unless there’s another injury disaster as he’s arguably 3rd on the depth chart. I’m glad the team have started to add some much needed depth but there’s also a solid chance that Fuller doesn’t Fill out the roster in 2023.
Following free agency most Broncos fans felt the team needed some further reinforcements but with so few picks available to start the 2023 NFL Draft many were left wondering what kind of magic George Paton could cook up to fill the team with contributing players.
#63: Marvin Mims, WR (Oklahoma) I don’t think anybody foresaw the Broncos trading up in the 2nd round to take a wide receiver. And whilst it's not a huge need, especially with the depth addition of Marquez Callaway in free agency, I do think it's a very good pick.
K.J. Hamler has failed to stay fit and this all but spells the end for his time in Denver in my opinion. It’s no wonder the Broncos front office couldn’t resist the opportunity to take a player with 4.38 speed and a 2-year college average of 20 yards per reception. I can see his ability to line up anywhere coming in very handy in a high motion Denver offense.
What I find spectacular about Mims is his ability to genuinely do everything. He can take the top off a defense, take screens in space for first downs, and generally play well in the short, medium and long game. There'll be some minor concerns over a Oklahoma running limited route trees but given Payton’s creativity and the likelihood of being moved around to capitalize on speed mismatches I don’t really feel those concerns are overly warranted.
#67: Drew Sanders, LB (Arkansas) I think Sanders has a real shot of being the best player selected in the 2023 NFL Draft when we look back in a few years time. He was a 5-star recruit at Alabama before transferring to Arkansas in 2022. Nick Saban has since said last summer that Sanders “probably would have started” for Alabama in one of the deepest pass rushing units in college. Ultimately he starred for the Razorbacks where his athletic prowess, versatility and toughness helped him notch up 9.5 Sacks (2nd in SEC) and 103 tackles.
His ability to play inside and outside will delight Vance Joseph who will end up using him very heavily in blitz packages from both the edge and middle linebacker positions. Ultimately we’re relying on a player's superior athletic abilities to give him the edge until he learns the nuances of NFL football.
His tackle consistency vs the run needs heavy improvement if he wants to be a 3-down player for Denver at either the edge or inside linebacker positions. Part of his problem so far has been a tendency to bite on fakes and misdirections and although his athleticism has managed to shine through at the College level it won’t be as successful at the NFL level.
#83: Riley Moss, CB (Iowa) Moss, in theory, has everything you would look for in an NFL corner with the exception of real top end speed. He’s tall and rangey with good tackling instincts but there are some shortcomings which will likely affect his NFL future as a cornerback. Moss typically leaves a bit too much cushion in zone coverage which can lead to explosive receivers leaving him in the dust. In man coverage he’ll often leave the underneath to compensate for his lack of top end speed; his aforementioned tackling skills at least thrive here.
His run support is likely going to make him a real runner for the slot corner position in zone packages but his shortcomings may also lead to Vance Joseph wanting to move him to safety eventually. The biggest advantage he has going forward is his versatility otherwise he may end up as a special teams contributor only.
#183: JL Skinner, S (Boise State) Drafted predominantly for his size, Skinner stands at 6’4, hits hard and plays to his strengths. Against the run Skinner performs admirably and has fantastic angles when pursuing the runner. In coverage he’s equally as solid with the ball skills to force interceptions and pass breakups.
I can only see Skinner on a trajectory to the top and I'm excited to see him in Denver. Ultimately it will be his responsibility to cover Travis Kelce, Michael Mayer and Gerald Everett twice a year.
#257: Alex Forsyth, C (Oregon) I think the Broncos wanted to draft a center, I don’t believe that man was supposed to be Alex Forsyth. Whilst he’s good value for the 7th round, I imagine they would have rather had the opportunity to take John Michael Schmitz or Joe Tippmann. I’m not sure how this pick is going to work out. On one hand I can see him being part of the same dominant force that allowed his backs ro average 5 yards per play in Oregon but on the other hand he’s a penalty machine much like Garrett Bolles was to start his career.
Overall I think the Broncos did the best they could with the selections they had. It would have been nice to see a tackle for the first time in 6 years or another running back to support Javonte and Samaje.
My concerns with the class is that although they're talented they weren't all the biggest needs this off season.
I can see all of them with the exception of Forsyth becoming a contributing level talent with Denver and over the course of their rookie contracts.
Ultimately this is how I see the roster breaking down:
QB: Russell Wilson, Jarett Stidham, Ben DiNucci HB: Javonte Williams, Samaje Perine, Tony Jones jr. FB: Michael Burton WR: Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, Courtland Sutton, Marvin Mims jr, Marquez Callaway TE: Greg Dulcich, Adam Trautman, Albert Okwuegbunam, Chris Manhertz OT: Garett Bolles, Mike McGlinchey, Cam Fleming, Isaiah Prince, Quinn Bailey IOL: Ben Powers, Quin Meinerz, Lloyd Cushenberry, Alex Forsyth, Luke Wattenberg, Kyle Fuller. DL: Zach Allen, Jonathan Harris, Eyioma Uwazurike, Jonathan Cooper, D.J. Jones, Mike Purcell LOLB: Randy Gregory, Baron Browning MLB: Alex Singleton, Josey Jewell, Drew Sanders, Justin Strnad, Jonas Griffith ROLB: Nik Bonnito, Aaron Patrick CB: Pat Surtain II, Damarri Mathis, Riley Moss, K’Waun Williams, Tremon Smith FS: Justin Simmons, Jamar Johnson, Caden Sterns SS: JL Skinner, Kareem Jackson
K: TBD P: Riley Dixon R: Tremon Smith LS: Mitchell Fraboni
There’s probably one big name missing here and that’s K.J. Hamler, who I think will get cut or traded before week 1.
Moving forward into 2023 and the 2024 off season there are a few positions Denver still need to worry about. There’s huge question marks over the ability of Russell Wilson and whether he still has the ability to play at the highest level.
We’ve also got question marks at running back with Javonte Williams coming off a huge injury. Our WR room has a lot of unknowns after Courtland Suttons failure to rediscover his form after his ACL injury whilst teammate Tim Patrick is also recovering from the same injury suffered this past season.
The offensive line still needs addressing as Lloyd Cushenberry often gets bullied in the trenches and Garrett Bolles may revert under another new offensive line coach, so far Mike Munchak is the only man to get a respectable tune from the former first round pick.
Moving on to defense and there’s less issues but still big weaknesses. I’d like to see us invest more in the defensive line and outside linebacker positions with Cooper, Bonnito, Browning and Gregory all relatively unknown in a Broncos uniform.
Ultimately if I had to narrow it down the focus going forward needs to be on center, defensive end and quarterback if things will russ doesn’t improve.
Ultimately there was a lot to like about the Broncos off season changes and everything seems to be pointing towards a more successful, creative team in 2023. We look to have added steel where it mattered across the offensive line and signing Sean Payton could prove to be the biggest acquisition of the all.
Ironically, this series is called defending the draft and that’s what I’ve struggled to do here the most. I like the class, I think there’s some high impact players there for sure, but I’ve come away wishing we’d filled some other key areas a little bit better. Ultimately you can’t always have the board fall as you want it and it’s a huge improvement from the classes John Elway managed to put together.
Thank you for reading my Denver Broncos draft/off season review. I filled in as a last minute replacement so hopefully this manages to hit the right spot for everyone.
LET’S RIDE.

2023.06.02 21:38 calgary_subaru Is the Fiat Abarth 131 Mirafioria Evoluzione worth maxing?
| It's one of my best options in the finals, but even at 113 it's losing to the red RQ72 or 73 Fiat at 112 in slalom. I'm considering a weight fuse as well, but it's is worth it? Seems like a decent car, but I never would have put 2 fuses into it if it wasn't needed for the finals, and I'm not going to win the BAC. Hoping for T3, would be okay with T4. submitted by calgary_subaru to TopDrives [link] [comments] |
2023.06.02 19:25 SufficientTable1840 Dodge ram 1500 problem
| So I got a 2007 dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi And the other day I drive it down the the street parked it for about 2 mins and went back to go leave and it wouldn’t start and then after about 40 mins it started starting just fine except for it has a kinda rough idle and the engine sounds a little bit weaker than normal. I’ll put the video on what was happening but I’m replacing the coil packs and spark plugs cause I’m not sure if that would cause it but my other guess is the fuel pump and it also has to engine codes on it a small evap leak code po456 and a egr control circuit code p0404. Any ideas on what could be the problem? submitted by SufficientTable1840 to MechanicAdvice [link] [comments] |

2023.06.02 18:27 Maygii [Math] Complete Rubilia Analysis/Guide
| Rubilia is here! How does she fit into current Volt teams? Let's take a look with our usual analysis, starting with her kit, and then moving on to advancements and matrices, then finally, teamcomps, rotations, and comparisons! Video Version [Math] Complete Rubilia Analysis/Guide TLDR Theoretically up to 10% powercreep over Umi GNN comp, though in practice, 12-18% of your damage is from A1 which requires enemies to stand absolutely still, and you'll lose a good amount of that. Worse than Tian Lang if you don't have A3 Fenrir, and better than Tian at A1, A5, and A6 when you do. A5 is the most important advancement, A6 and A1 are small bonuses, A3 nigh useless Kit Rubilia's kit is very straightforward. The core of it revolves around her Crystamax Thorns, so we'll start with where they come from - her discharge. Her discharge generates 3 Crystamax Thorns around the target, while increasing Volt Damage by 7% for 30 seconds. While these thorns don't inherently do anything by themselves, they are essential to the kit. The discharge also gives you 2 charges of Feedback, which enhance her dodge attack with a few bonus effects. It causes each dodge attack to do 72% additional damage proportional to the amount of thorns, and then also heals the thorns for 25% of their max health, while resetting their position and duration. So, why does the health of the thorns matter? Let's look at her skill next. Her skill causes her to draw enemies together, draining up to 100% health from the Thorns. While the Thorns have health to drain, each hit deals an additional 40% damage x amount of Thorns. As such, it is important to make sure to use the dodges after her discharge to heal Thorns back up, so you can get as much bonus damage on this skill as possible. Note that generating new Thorns will not replace old Thorns, even when said Thorns are out of health. The health drain effect on the Thorns additionally counts towards any effects that require you to lose a % of your own health, making Rubilia's strength primarily lie with Fenrir's A3, which deals a large amount of passive damage as you lose health. https://preview.redd.it/62wucakodm3b1.png?width=635&format=png&auto=webp&s=e2ebc63b094fd16af51160d3f28f5a43c1f332ee Her trait grants 8% Volt Damage for each Volt weapon equipped, as a unique multiplier separate from matrices. This trait gives an edge to triple Volt teams, which we'll touch on later. The rest of her kit isn't too much to write home about - her basic attack damage can't compare to that of Fenrir, so all her value is essentially in her skill and discharge. | MV/s | Notes | Rubilia Auto | 248%/s | Good at charging | Rubilia Aerial | 317%/s | Good at charging | Rubilia Auto Hold | 266%/s | This makes you dash way past the target but can be useful as a gap closer | Rubilia Plunge | 281%/s | | Fenrir Auto | 481%/s | Includes note detonations | Fenrir Aerial | 387%/s | Includes note detonations | Fenrir Plunge Roar | 520%/s | Includes note detonations | She has a funny passive where she can turn a non-boss Grayspace entity into a temporary ally, though the value of this is questionable, as the damage potential of mobs to other mobs is irrelevant, and you essentially make a mob invulnerable from yourself. Aside from combat, though, she offers some neat utility with an unlimited jetpack and super fast gliding! Super fast gliding! Let's now look into her advancements and their values! Advancements We'll examine the power of each of Rubilia's advancements in two teams - one team with Fenrir and Fiona, and then a triple volt with Fenrir and Tian Lang. Rubilia's A1 adds a DOT effect around each of her thorns after triggering Feedback, dealing 66.7% damage every 2 seconds for 30 seconds total. This adds a good amount of damage in both comps, though note that a lot of the potential of this advancement may not be realized in content where enemies move constantly. Next is her A3, which generates a Thorn when using any weapon skill or discharge. This helps the initial ramp-up, but does absolutely nothing after, as newly generated thorns will not replace old thorns. As such, this only improves damage by a minor amount, and is more useful in shorter fights than longer ones. Her A5 causes Feedback to restore the HP of Crystamax thorns by 50%. This is a very significant advancement, this allows you to fully restore the HP of thorns after each discharge, allowing you to benefit from the full bonus damage on the subsequent skill. Finally, her A6 causes her discharge to grant an extra 12% Volt damage buff when casting. This adds a good amount of bonus value to both comps. Rubilia Advancement | Gain from A0 in Fiona Volt | Gain from A0 in Triple Volt | A0 | 100% | 100% | A1 | 118% | 113% | A3 | 121% | 116% | A5 | 143% | 132% | A6 | 159% | 147% | Overall, her advancements are relatively more important in the Fiona comp than the triple Volt comp, and this makes sense since Fiona is a buffer, the raw damage on Rubilia's advancements are worth relatively more. Note that, again, this is not a comparison between comps - we'll cover that later! Next, let's go over matrices. Matrices Rubilia's 2-piece increases Volt ATK unconditionally, working in the offhand. This boosts damage by a decent amount, though this effect is mostly inferior to the Fiona matrix, which might as well be up all the time. The 4-piece effect increases all elemental damage when dealing damage with a Volt weapon. This elemental damage stacks additively with Scylla and Tian's matrices, so note that using multiple of these options together would be inefficient. In addition, this increases the Crystamax Thorn limit from 5 to 6, which contributes quite a significant amount of damage. How much, exactly, let's take a look... https://preview.redd.it/zrykcvpjem3b1.png?width=934&format=png&auto=webp&s=8063f690a0ce11f22e0343c13744af2c4d1c6b4d Rubilia's matrix blows the rest out of the water, even Fiona's matrix. However, do note that this is with all A6 units - if you do not have Fenrir A3, then the value will be relatively smaller. Without the +1 thorn effect, the Rubilia 3* matrix is worth around +46% damage instead of +61%. Due to how damage is distributed fairly evenly between Fenrir and Rubilia's on-field time, matrices such as SamiShiro are relatively weaker now because of it. Teamcomps Let's start taking a look at different teamcomps and their rotations, starting with the Volt + Altered team. https://preview.redd.it/iz5wkjhoem3b1.png?width=1223&format=png&auto=webp&s=022b9d470decf3172c94f8a3d50c01a1b8a13f69 The ideal team here consists of Fiona, Fenrir, and Rubilia. There really aren't any suitable replacement options, as a lot of Rubilia's synergy falls with Fenrir A3, and without that, the damage falls flat. Lin can work as a replacement for Fiona, but note that these raw comparisons do not include matrices, which would push Fiona even higher. We use Hydro Focus and Wellspring as skills here, for the generic buffs. Torrential Force can be a viable option if you want to do the double discharge rotation, which involves discharging to both Fiona and Rubilia every rotation, as opposed to only Rubilia. We use Fenrir, Fiona, and Rubilia matrices here. Tian's matrix is phased out in a meta comp due to stacking additively with Rubilia. "Why is Lin so close to Fiona here?" Fiona discharge is skipped in a Rubilia rotation, and this table also does not include matrices, and Fiona's matrices are quite a good amount more powerful than Lin's. Also, execute damage is not included. For demonstration purposes, an optimal parse with starting charge will be used. You can perform the same rotation minus the discharges, but the ramp up will be slower. https://preview.redd.it/f9p1qe5xem3b1.png?width=1266&format=png&auto=webp&s=3209e4973486264c7b842ac70db1b92df78c613f Start out with Fiona's skill, and then switch into Fenrir. Use her skill, followed by A1 to dodge to A1, cancelling the end of the second A1 to discharge to Rubilia. Use her skill, followed by two dodges, to heal the Thorns back up. Autoattack for a couple seconds to wait for Fiona's skill to come back up. Switch to Fiona to use her skill, then back into Fenrir, where you use her plunge to roar combo until her A1 comes back up, and then do A1 to dodge to A1 again, cancelling early to go into Rubilia again, where you do the same as before: skill, and two dodges. Use Fiona's skill again, and then go to Fenrir and start a new Songworld. The rotation for the second Songworld is NOT the same due to Rubilia's uneven skill cooldown. As such, you'll DPS on Fenrir as normal, doing your A1/dodge combo twice, and then a couple plunge roar combos, before going out to Rubilia for her usual skills, then going into Fiona for her skill, and then doing another Fenrir A1 combo. From here on out, the rotation repeats. https://preview.redd.it/7yc7pp9zem3b1.png?width=1185&format=png&auto=webp&s=403744daa5a1d1c75745026e814346e100c3259f A triple Volt team consists of Tian Lang, Fenrir, and Rubilia. Replacing Tian Lang with Nemesis is a viable option if you don't have Tian Lang invested in, but other replacement options are pretty copium, especially if you replace Fenrir. Here, the ideal matrices to use are Rubilia, Fenrir, and Tian Lang. The Tian rotation plays pretty much the same the Fiona rotation, except you swap into Tian less frequently due to his skill having a longer cooldown. Here, I'll copy pasta that rotation over here for reference. https://preview.redd.it/7ax9eip0fm3b1.png?width=1273&format=png&auto=webp&s=d0cdd207259a754129ce514d54da28bfcac6ff0b Comparisons Let's dive into comparisons! But not before going over our DISCLAIMER, to note that you should take numbers with a grain of salt, as this is theorycrafting, and the numbers shown will be the theoretical maximum, which may not reflect actual combat! The first important question I want to answer is, "how is Rubilia without A3 Fenrir"? Simply put, not good at all. Fenrir's A3 has so much synergy with Rubilia, that without Fenrir A3, you're probably better off running something else, like Tian Lang, speaking of which, here's a comparison graph of varying advancements of Rubilia and Tian, with Fenrir A1. As you can see, Rubilia is... quite weak here, overshadowed by Tian Lang completely. Next, we'll look at one with Fenrir A6 (the real breaking point is at A3, I'm just using A6 as an example). Here, Tian A3 can perform better than Rubilia A3, especially considering that Rubilia's A1 can miss a lot of damage against moving targets. However, using Tian does mean you'll be hurting yourself a lot, so that's the tradeoff. Rubilia becomes stronger at A5 and above, and recall that Rubilia's matrix buffs her up a ton, so she takes quite an investment to raise the bar. I can't believe they made another Cobalt-B. https://preview.redd.it/jbhjfdqlfm3b1.png?width=590&format=png&auto=webp&s=da2b246cc84e5a467c4a086ad95ecc90a605abf7 https://preview.redd.it/gp9l7fp3fm3b1.png?width=626&format=png&auto=webp&s=0e1300bdff7a1d550c00376ae39e1816701179bc https://preview.redd.it/47kqb2w4fm3b1.png?width=622&format=png&auto=webp&s=ff22abe9e47eafcc15b282d12b9a930439d26676 Now, how does Volt compare to the rest of the meta? At the maximum investment, Rubilia can theoretically top the DPS charts, though I need to emphasize again that usability is a concern. Her A1 accounts for roughly 12% of the total damage, and a lot of this damage is lost when fighting any mobile targets, so this cuts her value substantially. The triple Volt team lags behind the Rubilia comp a bit, but this comp has more raw damage and is relatively less reliant on Rubilia's A1 damage. https://preview.redd.it/7jnyvxe7fm3b1.png?width=864&format=png&auto=webp&s=309dc0310552f979cd3cb93597c93cbb483f5cf0 In a dolphin investment comp, Rubilia only raises the bar by a small amount over Tian Lang. The triple Volt comp also does better than the Fiona Volt comp here, as at this investment level, since limited matrices aren't considered, Fiona's powerful matrices don't give her that extra boost. https://preview.redd.it/az6qrth8fm3b1.png?width=867&format=png&auto=webp&s=bcebfa03235115c159300c5e1f6e1741569f17a5 At an F2P investment, Rubilia is a downgrade from Tian, especially seeing that this is chart is comparing A1, and A1 Tian is useless so you only really need A0 to reach the previous Volt level of damage. That being said, that doesn't mean Volt is in the bad place, as it's still doing better than F2P Physical and Altered, and roughly the same as Frost. https://preview.redd.it/3gsd5fq9fm3b1.png?width=865&format=png&auto=webp&s=4524351b7e9983630b70795f09c1e8ee42c1c4ae TLDR: Rubilia is not F2P friendly, unless you appreciate her model or exploration features. Summary Rubilia can be a powerful addition to Volt teams, but needs a high investment level, in both her own advancements, matrices, and even requires Fenrir A3, to function properly. Her kit design is questionable, as you can grief yourself with her grayspace mind-control skill, and her value is literally defined by one specific advancement on another character. But hey, at least she has a nice model! https://preview.redd.it/0vyfn1jdfm3b1.png?width=330&format=png&auto=webp&s=d24cc236ddd44f8483401edb79b2e7b4ca4144d8 This concludes my Rubilia analysis.
