I started playing Persona 3 portable recently as I wanted to play through it before tackling Persona 4, and I'm having difficulties staying invested. I've read a handful of guides that say the game shouldn't be grindy, and that as long as I fight all the shadows I come across I shouldn't have to do grind before each moon boss, but that's seemingly not the case. I read that the recommended level increases by about 10 levels for each moon boss, and I've been trying to reach it naturally but it feels like I'm just moving at a snails pace. I end up clearing the entire chunk of Tartarus before the next gate, then having to grind for another 5-6 hours to get my team up to the goal level. I'm playing with "more" xp, and it still takes an enragingly long time to progress. Is there some strategy or setting I'm just missing that makes it take this long?

At one point he got Rabies and was destroying the city, so Super Shart caught him and sent Hammy to NASA. Super Shart ended up telling them to shoot him to the moon, so they did. Hammy almost destroyed the moon.

Hi. I will be playing rime of frostmaiden soon. The GM Will made a few changes to the history and adventure but the core is the same. I know that we will start at level 3 and the adventure will be until level 12 or 13.

Hi there- I was chatting with my five-and-a half-year-old about one of my fave books as a kid - hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. She was very interested in us reading it (me reading it aloud to her) but I thought it might still be a bit old for her in terms of content and her ability to follow
Can anyone recommend a longer book of that ilk (casual sci-fi) that’s appropriate and something a pretty mature five year old should be able to follow the plot?
(Fwiw we read shortish chapter books today called Diary of an Ice Princess as well as Isadora Moon. She can follow the plot on those but does like looking at the pictures. I’m hoping for a longer and deeper plot to start exposing her to than what those books offer, and start exposing her to books without pictures)

I dont really know who to gush about this album to so here I am. it took me forever to get into it.. before getting to this I'd already gone through heavy rotation periods on the bends, ok computer, kid A, and in rainbows disc 2. (Disc 1 got a decent playing but 2 really hits the spot) I had tried hail to the thief once or twice but it just didn't click for me before. Now it's so on the spot that I don't even know how I didn't like it before. I think it's a less accessible album, yet it's some of their best work. As stupid as this sounds, I feel like I graduated to a deeper level of Radiohead. It's dark and foreboding and trippy and so real. It just feeeeeels good. A Wolf At The Door really sold me on the whole thing. So glad I eased into this one eventually.
Well, I feel dumb for trying to put any of that into words. It's just good and I needed to say so.

True story.
I used to stay at my grandparents house a lot when i was younger. They wanted to help out and such. They owned a 40-50 acre farm with their house about a quarter mile into the woods. It was summer and we all were going to bed. I always have had trouble falling asleep and was the only one awake and was returning from the bathroom to join my cousin on the top bunk with me in the bottom. The bedroom had one window facing a lightpost my grandparents had installed. I was just covering myself up when i saw something cast a shadow against the window curtain. Once... then twice it was fast but i could tell there was something moving outside. I crawl outta the bed hugging the floor already scared. I was about a foot from the closed curtain with my eye just above the window seal. I stared out and nothing happened for a few seconds. Then I saw a figure cast a shadow onto the curtain it looked like a big dog head. Long snout tail pointed ears. It stopped perfectly center of the window frame the slowly turned it's head to face me. I froze, but it then raised up a few inch to show it's shoulders. I can only describe it as a wolf head on a human body. The it turned away and moved on.
People said i was young it was only a nightmare. It wasn't i remember it to vividly. I forgot to mention that this window was about 5 feet up from the ground. It was my mother's' old room as a child and when i asked her if she ever saw anything. She paused for several seconds began to speak shook her head and stuttered out a no. She knew the folklore and refused to speak and we dropped it, but I knew why she responded that way.
Never mention them aloud.
I can't explain this. I'm still scared to be alone at night there. Even typing this gave me goosebumps.

Okay, time for another update, and...yeah, nothing too serious happened. I worked my way through Mt. Moon, beating all the trainers along the way (including that one Rocket Grunt with a L16 Raticate with Hyper Fang, thank you Christoffl the Geodude), and Aya evolved to Ivysaur along the way. And then I beat the fossil guy and got a Dome Fossil (Lord Helix can suck it).
Soon enough I was on the other side of the cave, found an invisible Great Ball nearby, and landed in the grass on Route 4 to catch Jozefo the Ekans. I levelled up a little after that, and decided to see what I could catch north of Cerulean. Which meant fighting my rival again, but nothing he had was a threat so it's fine.
What's not fine is the last guy on Nugget Bridge ALMOST killing Oxum the Spearow with his Karate Chopping Mankey (luckily Oxum's fine now, in fact I've since evolved him). Anyway, on to the encounters: please welcome Astridur the Oddish and Olivia the Metapod to the group...damn it, no Abra. I got that Great Ball for nothing.
Well, anyway, I trained up a little more, then beat Misty's gym. It was easy enough since I had Aya the Ivysaur and Javed the Pikachu in the team (I was worried I was a little underlevelled going into the fight at L19, but Misty's strategy for beating an Ivysaur is apparently just Tackle, while I Leech Seed and Vine Whip her Starmie to death).
I went a bit further than this to try and give something interesting for the update, but honestly, nothing much has happened. I caught Pierre the Mankey on Route 5, killed my encounter in Diglett's Cave (Odran decided to get a crit at the wrong moment), I got Celeste the Drowzee on Route 11, and Odran evolved to Raticate while I was clearing out the SS Anne. Honestly, all that's left to do right now is get Christoffl ready for Surge's gym, so...I'll see you guys then I guess?
