So, I am desperate to get out of my current organization. I made a move to local philanthropy two years ago, and it's been a terrible fit the entire time. My manager and I do not have a good working relationship, and since there are only 3 full-time employees, it's a hard problem to ignore.
I went full out with applying last month after I finally realized that there's no fixing this and am happy to say that things have come together really quickly, and I got to the final interview stages of 3 positions at 3 larger corporate orgs.
I got an offer today for a Proposal Writer role at Company A. It's fully remote, has good benefits, and I've done the work before. It's my least favorite position out of the three as I have been trying to get away from proposal work. I have a call scheduled for 4pm today to speak with HR about the specifics so they can send over the formal written offer.
Company B told me they would have an update for me this week about a strategic comms role. I worked for Company B before and had a good experience (but my area got sold off). This position also seems much more aligned with where I see my career long-term.
Company C only wrapped up interviews yesterday and while I felt really good about them, they are notorious for dragging the process out. But, a previous manager of mine works in the department and apparently sung my praises.
I definitely want to buy myself as much time as possible with Company A's offer so I can see if anything comes of Company B and C. Given that it's Tuesday, I feel like I can probably safely ask to have until Friday afternoon to think it over?
I was upfront with HR in the beginning that I was applying elsewhere, but I can't exactly say that I'm delaying for more offers. What's the best way to handle this professionally?

We start our story at Arkham Massachusetts, and more specifically at Miskatonic University, where a rather strange death has just occurred. Professor Charles Leiter was found in his office. The official cause of death is a heart attack.
Yet, the Dean seems to be interested enough in the circumstances, or at least on a project the professor had been working on before he died, that he calls you in at the recommendation of the morgue assistant. You are all connected to an amateur university investigation club, with a bent toward the unexplained. With no one else to turn to and not wanting this to get out to the press and create a potential scandal, Dean Fallon puts you all on the case. Surely nothing can go wrong?

Hello, I'm Kat! An experienced Game Master but newer to Call of Cthulhu and looking to dip my toes into the system with a short adventure on Roll20. By my estimate, Crimson Letters will last from three to five sessions depending on how deeply the group...well, investigates!
It will be starting on Sunday April 2nd and going weekly until the scenario wraps up.
Crimson Letters leans rather heavily into a sandbox style of game where it'll be up to your sleuthing to discover exactly what happened to the deceased Professor Leiter, as well as the whereabouts of some missing documents he'd been researching prior to his death. This is not a linear point A to B to C scenario. Where you go, who you talk to, and how you go about solving this case before it's too late is completely up to you! So get your notepads ready, and keep an eye out for shadows moving in the dark...

Character Creation

I have made a set of nine premade investigators that you can choose from for this adventure, complete with background information and ties to the scenario and the other investigators involved. I am open to talking about tweaks to characters if you would like, but as a new Keeper, using premade, especially for a short scenario, is the way I have decided to go to help both me and any new players.

What is provided

I will set up music, splash screens, and a lot of props. All you need to do is show up. Everything else is provided and I've done my best to make sure it's an atmospheric and professional experience. I will again forewarn you that though I am an experienced Game Master, I am newer to the system of CoC, so I am still becoming acquainted with the rules.
That said, I have read both the Keeper and Investigator guides as well as posted a number of resources to the Discord channel for help with rules referencing on anything that may arise that I am not as familiar with, as well as to help other newcomers to the system.

About the Keeper

I have been running various games for about seven years now, from (with varying amounts of experience) Cyberpunk Red, Blades in the Dark, Vampire the Masquerade, D&D 5e, Avatar Legends, and now Call of Cthulhu 7e. I come from a writing and amateur acting background, so my big love as a Game Master is making a realistic, breathing, and growing world for players to impact and explore. I particularly pride myself on making a cast of dynamic NPCs to interact with, regardless of system.
I am not a voice actor. I can do a few accents, and some funny voices, but mostly I try to vary tones, speech patterns, and other smaller aspects. If you come in expecting Matthew Mercer's level of acting skill, you will be disappointed. I have not been to VA school. I have been told, however, that I can do a near-perfect sheep impersonation.
Lastly, I value communication and mutual respect. I find 99% of problems at a table stem from not understanding the boundaries and expectations of other players, and listening to the group around you. If you have problems or concerns, we will talk about them like mature adults and try our best to find a solution.
My table is always a safe space for minority communities and bigotry, despite playing in an era where it runs rampant, is not tolerated by players.

I'm not sure where I went wrong. I leave for work at 6:30 AM, I get home at 4PM and I coach kids from 7-9PM once a week. Yesterday was that day and I don't get home till 10PM. She had dinner already but I ate with her and started getting ready for bed. By the time we were in the bed we started talking about something I don't even remember given that I was so tired. So, I fell asleep. By this time it was 11PM and she immediately became frustrated that I fell asleep. This morning she completely shunned me out saying "leave me alone I want to be left alone" and basically stonewalling me. Now, when I asked if something was wrong she blew up on how I feel asleep during an important convo. If it was so important why didn't we continue it this morning or why didn't you wake me up?

Hope Remains has been in-game since its release, with quite a few of us having played gw1. If you are looking for a guild to play Meta's/Strikes/Fractals, or to become part of a static raid team, we are doing those things!

Hi all,
As the title suggests, I am looking for the best free way to migrate from one 365 tenant to another. I think endpoint migration is out unless you pay for a licence for each mailbox, so was considering a PST export or an IMAP import into the new tenant and worry about contacts and calendars later.
Or does anyone have any other better suggestions ( by the way, did I mention they have to be free?)

I enjoy living in a downtown city area that has walkable bars/restaurants. I could live in Dallas or Fort Worth but am worried about the commute to see friends or to work. Hoping to find an area like the Shops of Legacy that is somewhere in Irving/Arlington/Grand Prairie and be midway between both. Las Colinas is a possible option but it seems pretty dry, lots of offices and empty restaurants around Lake Carolyn. I don’t know anybody in Fort Worth and considered living in lower greenville and commuting to fort worth for work, anybody have any idea what that drive is like on I30? would leave 7am from dallas and 4pm from fort worth. Maps say 40-45 minutes which I could do but but i’m hesitant and really looking for some wisdom or advice here.

ABOUT ME: Hello, potential players! My name is Tristan (or Jet, if you'd prefer), I am 17 years old, I use he/him pronouns, and a little fun fact about me is that my tibia is bent in a way that it looks like I have duck feet when I run. I will (hopefully) be your DM for this particular campaign! I have about 2 years of 5e experience, but mostly as a player. I'm a fairly new DM, but I promise to give my 110% on this, regardless of its actual longstanding quality.
ABOUT THE GAME: I plan on running a roleplay heavy, combat light (but emphasized) campaign that takes place in Pravarus, a land born of and that lives for the gods. Every 5 years, 7 people of exceptional standard are selected by the gods. Known as the Chosen, they are granted exceptional magical power, along with the responsibility of leading their nation (under the guidance of the Holy Family, of course). You are not these people. Though the Chosen wield power beyond our wildest dreams, the common men and women know little of magic, and have instead devoted themselves to more mundane lives. But on the day that heaven collapsed, and the gods set to reclaim the earth, you were granted powers beyond your understanding, and a responsibility: the gods need to be stopped, or replaced.
ABOUT THE PLAYERS: In terms of class and race restrictions, I'm pretty open to anything. All non-magical races exist here, but races with innate magic are much more rare (and are generally only the result of either the god’s interference with the mortal realm or breeding with a magical, non-player race), but I am more than willing to work with you to come up with something interesting that fits the world in my head (and hopefully, soon yours as well). I also LOVE homebrew. Send it to me for approval first, but other than that I'm completely in with whatever wacky bullshit you find or make to fit the character concept you have in mind. Experience level is inconsequential to me, I'm willing to teach or be taught depending on what end of the experience spectrum you sit on, and am happy to do both. Just be ready to roleplay, explore, and hopefully have a good time if I'm capable of providing.

My fiancé and I are planning a casual lunchtime ceremony/reception to keep costs low. No dance floor or DJ, just simple background music. It’s at a local restaurant and we were thinking of having the time be from 1pm to 4pm, with the timeline looking like this:
12:30 - guests begin to arrive 1:00 - very brief ceremony 1:20ish - venue opens the bar and begins passed appetizers 2:20ish - lunch is served 4:00 - end
Does this sound too short, keeping in mind that there is no dance floor and we don’t plan on doing long speeches, maybe just some toasts? I want our guests to have time to chat and mingle and not feel rushed, but at the same time we are trying to keep costs low. Should we extend the restaurant rental to 5pm? What would you think if you attended a wedding like this?
