2023.03.21 17:14 beginnerjay Some weird, transient failures

I had just unplugged from a public L2 charger and was on the drive home when I got a "Service Soon" banner on my dash. Later, I saw the I had the "Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power" message on my phone. It drove fine so I took it home. I tried to plug in at home but it wouldn't charge until later when everything was fine.
I called Ford. They looked up my car and reported that I had a series of of about 10 error messages 11 times over the last 3 months. These included "driver side LED", passenger side LED, camera module, Lost communication with ECM/PCM 'A", Control Module output Power A, B, C and more. I never say any indications of errors from my car or phone.
The car was running fine. When I took it in a few days later the problem had reset and For couldn't find anything wrong.
My local Ford dealer was concerned and helpful, but they didn't know what to do next. They suggested it might be the charger I was using, but I'm not finding a correlation between dates where the errors occurred and where I charged.
I guess I'll have to wait until something breaks.
Any suggestions?

To anyone who uses Deliveroo in edinburgh, leith especially!
I’m wondering if anyone else has received a half-eaten Deliveroo as I did last night.
I ordered from Super Nonna for the first time- the driver “Oliver” had to take a detour due to part of Leith walk being temporarily shut again. He called and was lovely explaining why he was taking a while and asked me to meet him on the street. He was a young white male (around early -mid 20s), blonde, tall, wearing a tight white tshirt showing off his tanned and muscular arms and was by all means quite charming and lovely. I believe he was driving a 3 door Ford silver fiesta.
He handed me the bag out of the car and was smiling and friendly- I appreciated his politeness so I tipped him a few pounds and went inside to find half eaten chips in an open box, and no trace of the chicken bites that should’ve also been there.
Yes, I reported this to Deliveroo and also spoke to the restaurant (great service and the remaining food was also delicious- thank you Super Nonna). Deliveroo refunded the missing item but couldn’t file a complaint against the driver?
I was lucky that I had the cash to spare and wasn’t feeding a family- but I’m conscious for some people with less income or families to support that could have ruined a special rare treat. Not sure what can be done but if anyone comes across him doing the same thing maybe we could gather some evidence to catch him and get him off Deliveroo.
*note- the restaurant confirmed the food should all have been sealed including the chips- they say they have heard of similar thefts recently.

2023.03.21 13:55 Tsitradam 2020 Escape - Yellow Wrench of Death?

I went to start up my 2020 Ford escape the other day and I received a dashboard message that simply said "See Manual" and had a solid yellow wrench. I tried googling what could be the problem and all I could find was that I should take the car in.
When I called around some dealerships and auto service centers, feedback varied. Some said it was probably a Ford-specific problem that dealerships would handle. Others have said it could be a random error with the dashboard because the car is still pretty new with low mileage (26,000).
I've got an appointment tomorrow to get it looked at but I figured it would be worth getting some advice from fellow drivers.
