Last night my mistress (23F) came to see me (24M), and, well I was a bit pissed off. She just doesn't want to leave husband and spend all her time with me. Anyway, things were getting hot and heavy, she was taking off her coat and sitting next to me, when I found a thing to do. I decided I wanted to take her. To make her mine. So I wrapped her hair into a single thread, God it was so beautiful, you should have seen the golden glow of it. Before you insist I'm a shitty person for killing her, I wholeheartedly assure you, She Felt No Pain. Anyway, she's been with me the whole night and nothing's happened yet, so I'm pretty sure she's mine to keep. Even God hasn't smote me yet. So yeah, AITA for wanting this beautiful woman for myself? BTW I think I have some form of porphyria, so before you come at me, I'm sick. Ok? So don't come knocking.

Has anyone had any experience taking classes at prestigious hair academies like vidal sassoon or toni&guy? I already went through beauty school and got my license, but still stuck as a salon assistant after a year. Did taking cut/color classes from these hair academies help anyone get on the floor?

I just moved here a few months ago and in need of a new hair stylist. I’m a female with quite long hair.
Any recommendations for stylists that are good with long, fine hair? I don’t currently dye it and just need a quality cut.

hii i just started working at my local ulta and today was my last day of the training modules. it is a bit over whelming as it is quite a lot of information to remember so i was hoping people on here could share some tips that made their work experience smooth and great. also, i really want to get my hair and eyebrows done but i feel like it is too soon to talk to the salon ladies, how should i approach that? and i also want to buy so many products already with my discount ahahah but i feel it is too soon …

At a discord room I visit, people often state while Brosnan's movies obviously were box office successes in Britain esp GoldenEye, he isn't as in-grained with Bond as he is in the rest of the world. That in the UK no single actor is ubiquitous with the role.
It does make me wonder because even outside the core Bond community, I notice with Brits I met online and irl including not just casual fans but even people who don't remotely care about 007 or even just spy movies period................... Much of them are aware that not only has there been 007 actors before Brosnan but they seem to know the names of several generations of the character. Enugh that its quite common to hear from random Brits including non-fans state "Oh Connery is the best!" and "I miss the Roger Moore days", etc. Even Milleneals UK people I know who grew up with Brosnan at least are aware of Connery and Moore (including those who never seen the pre-90s movies and openly state either Brosnan or Craig is their fav if only because they are the only ones they are exposed to).
As an American who was born in the 90s I will state before Craig's run Brosnan was not only the BOND for the American mainstream but he's the only one that most Americans even know about (even with the Craig era replacing him). So much that even people who don't know Pierce is the name of the 90s Bond actor like elder men who grew up in the Great Depression and preppy school girls I had as classmates who don't care about action flicks immediately picture Brosnan's image (ot at least his general basic features like dark hair and blue eyes) with Bond. Hell despite Craig being Bond for a whole generation, I met plenty of people born in the 2000s who associate Bond looking like Pierce Brosnan than Craig! Pretty much what I wrote above also applies to Canadian fans from my experience visiting the country to meet relatives and chatting online in gaming message boards and on Steam.
In addition despite the popular belief that Dalton's movies were flopped, they actually made profits worldwide. A hardcore fan told me its a misconception that was created by the fact Dalton's run underperformed in America but not only did it make cash world wide but they actually made around equal gross profits to Roger Moore's last 3 007 movies before he stepped down. That Dalton's movies was certainly popular in the UK during their original run.
I will also point out talking with non-English folks such as people from El Salvador, France, UAE, Japan, and elsewhere across the world online, they seem to only associate Bond with Brosnan and Craig and are ignorant of earlier iterations (excepting obviously older people who remembered when Connery and others were front page news in local non-English newspapers and magazines of their countries).
So i am very curious if Brosnan is not as popular in Britain as he is elsewhere throughout the world where people still associate Bond with his image including those who don't know his name is Pierce Brosnan and young people who grew up with Craig? I will also add I notice Pierce Brosnan even in the UK is so ubiquitous among video gamers too!
What exactly made Brosnan so ubiquitous with Bond outside the UK esp North America? In addition what exactly makes Brosnan so associated with video games and so known among hardcore gamers who don't watch movies and TV? Why does it seem Dalton isn't looked down upon in the UK and had some following in his native country while TLD and LTK are seen as corny failed attempts to successfully do what Casino Royale managed to execute decades among audiences outside of Britain esp North America (and Dalton so forgotten internationally so many people don't know a more realistic brutal Bond was already attempted before Casino Royale)?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good couch cover or large blanket? I feel like I see Instagram adds all the time when I’m NOT looking.. but I feel like there’s a brand of very large blanket used for couches that doesn’t attract every single hair of the millions that come off my golden.

I will be moving to Fukuoka in June of 2024 on a Student Visa. 25F (will be 26 when I touch down). I will be bringing my two cats with me and have all the processes Japan requires in the works. I plan on doing the two years for the visa, but I do plan on staying longer with work - I have my master's in engineering technology and plan on trying to intern if possible. (i.e bringing my cats).

3. Has anyone bought furniture from the IKEA down there?
4. Is it easy to amazon things down there or is there an alternative that locals use more?
5. Any recommendations for food or drinks? I'll be there about a month before school so I am down to explore.
6. Any events to meet people to make friends?
7. Any hair stores with products for African American hair? I can do my own, but salons are welcome too. Nail salons?
8. Any recommendations on internships or part-time jobs I could look into?

Last challenge:
R1: Delaware. Five states are using a plain circle as (primary) state highway signs: Delaware, New Jersey, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi. As we see a sign to Wilmington (the largest city in Delaware) and Philadelphia (keep in mind: Pennsylvania has a unique state highway sign) we are most likely in Delaware or maybe New Jersey. We see a sign for I-495. When you turn around you see signs for US 13 and US 40. I-495 and US 13 only run through Delaware (and other states) but not through New Jersey. Furthermore, the car in front of us has a Delaware license plate (dark blue background, golden letters). The location itself was a bit tricky. The exit number was the only specific clue where to look. 2 perfect scores. :-)
R2: The new sign of Idaho with just the state outline and without the state name. Older signs also show the state name. Most of southern Idaho lies in the Snake River Plain. Mountains are in northern and south eastern Idaho. The single digit road numbers are clustered in the northern part of Idaho. Many players found the intersection. 12 perfect scores. :-)
R3: New Jersey. There are several clues for New Jersey. You can see the yellow license plates of New Jersey everywhere. The street sign for Nassau Street shows the circle highway sign. This is very common in Delaware and New Jersey. However, a circle with a black background on a green sign is very common in New Jersey and seems to be unique to New Jersey. New Jersey also has signs like in R1. Therefore, a missing black background is not a hint that you are not in New Jersey. The most important clue was written on the newspaper box: Princeton, NJ ;-). 6 perfect scores. :-)
R4: State outline of Arkansas. I-555 is a spur of I-55. Both are easy to find in eastern Arkansas. You could see the freeway entry ramp when you looked north east. 4 perfect scores. :-)
R5: The flag of Colorado on the state highway sign. You could see a sign for I-25 when you turned around. I-25 is the only north-to-sounth interstate in Colorado and is easy to find on the map. CO-14 also runs through the sparsely populated eastern Colorado and is quite easy to find on the map. Many players found CO-14. Our intersection was right next to a railway track. Railway tracks might me easier to find on the map than road names. 5 perfect scores. :-)

I currently work at Chatters in Kitchener. I have never in all my years of styling worked for a company that actually cares about me as a stylist. My colorist of 9 years is retiring, and I need recommendations for salons with top tier hair colorists…

So my natural hair colour is a dark brown. I tried to go blonde but my hair had warmer undertones than I thought, and I ended up ginger. I put ginger dye on top of it and it looked alright, but it clashed with everything, so I put black dye over it.
Got sick of the black so 6-ish months ago I bleached again. This is where it all went wrong. Ended up with some orange, some brown, some blonde, and some still pitch black. Hair held up fine, though.
Went for brown dye. Had no clue what my shade was. Used it. Missed spots. More brown dye. Didn't realise I used the wrong shade until I had five-tone hair (mid brown, light brown, and patches of blonde, orange and black). Made one last attempt with brown dye, and I got everything, but due to the sheer number of colours at play underneath, it's all different levels of brown, plus my dark brown roots, and it looks really bad, both in person and in pictures.
I have two major events I'm attending in the next 2 weeks (one in a week, one the week after). I have not got salon money. I have a full blonding kit (40 vol, blue powder bleach, toner, and a blonde dye) black dye, and red dye. What's my best bet?

My golden just got spayed 3 weeks ago and she’s been acting very strange ever since. She’s formed multiple habits, some of which are being extremely cuddly and wants to lay on or with you everywhere you go. Especially this recliner couch we have, it’s her favorite. And she licks us non stop. Before she never ever used to lick anything.
She also refuses to play with our older dog who she’s been with her whole life and used to love to play with. Whenever my older one tries to play, she raises her hair and sometimes growls. This is totally out of the ordinary for her. All these changes appeared 3-4 days after the surgery and they’ve only gotten worse since then.
I haven’t been able to find any answers but my guesses are: hormones, pain, depression or anxiety, trauma from a traumatic event (surgery) and trying to cope with it.
If anyone can shed some light on this or share their experience it would be greatly appreciated.
